The plants are starting to recover from the N excess 2 weeks ago, this delayed a bit the starting of flower from some plants but im sure that the rest of flowering will be ok, i gave only water this week and applied a small amount of guanokalong nutrients as these are slowly absorbed to ensure the plant continues to receive some nutrients until next 2 weeks when we will start to give some extra PK

Started giving her plain water ph’d to 6.0 a week ago. Took down her main cola the other day so I could lower the light. The trichomes looked good on it. It’s drying currently. Planning on harvesting her next week. Not sure you can tell the massiveness of her from the picture. This is a Mars Hydro 5x3 tent. She is a beast!!

Yesterday I wanted to hang the lamp a little lower and unfortunately it fell into a plant. The damage could be greater but it makes me a little sad. One BigBud looks really beautiful and is slowly turning purple. no one else does that. I also ordered canna terra flores because a few defects are slowly becoming noticeable, especially in the 6 l pots. I am otherwise very satisfied. I currently water about 2 liters in the 6 liter pots and about 3 liters in the 9 liter pots. I will probably use fabric pots or AirPots less in the future because watering them annoys me so much and they dry out very quickly.

Love this strain looking forward to growing it in my window setup hope you all think it’s interesting.

Update June 4th Another 3 liters fed today. As expected, this week is full of LST and scrogging only, but it’s going very well. The prep work I’m doing now is basically what I did in the first week(s) of flower in the last grow, so the foundation for flipping will be much better prepared this time. Maintenance on Taktlo$$ is even getting a tad bit simpler. Flipping is expected on Sunday. I’ll just keep the same week marker for simplicity, even if I could flip earlier. Update June 1st Fed a full 3 liters again. Those plants are chugging like hell. Last grow I fed 1.5 liters per plant. This time it’s 3 liters per plant and they drink it up as fast as the last ones drank their 1.5 liters. Not saying 3L is exceptional. I was likely just too conservative before. That said, this grow I’ve been feeding roughly double since the start, so the plants are prolly just more developed overall. Maintenance on this Dynamite Diesel strain is still much simpler than on the Royal Gorilla. Let’s see if the yield in the end is on par. Update May 31st Also for Samy this will be the final veggie week. This Dynamite Diesel strain is a little bit simpler to train and maintain as it doesn’t grow as bushy. Clips are easier to apply. Scrog is easier to do. Other than that the strain grows as strong and fast. No further topping plans on Samy as well. So same deal as for Takti as I will flip both at the same time no matter what (can’t do different) I might go flower half way through this week. So stay tuned!

Week 5 for this beautiful plants. They just got fed with Goldleaf feterlizer and I added mycos chum and cal-mag to the mix. They are doing great so far with the feeding schedule and they are stretching really good. The pre-flower is going well they are starting to grow.

6/18/22 By now I’m sure all of you following along are sick and tired of reading about how large of a plant she is, but DAMN she’s big! She takes up more space by herself than the other 5 plants in the tent with her. She is moving along nicely up the feed chart, and is now on the mid-bloom step 5 stage. Step 5 is the same as steps 3 & 4, so really nothing new to report. She took a whole gallon of water mixed with the following: CALiMAGic - 2 ml FloraMicro - 4.7 ml FloraGro - 3.8 ml FloraBloom - 8.5 ml Floralicious Plus - 2 ml Liquid KoolBloom - 2 ml The pH was 6.2, and was not adjusted. The runoff was excellent, and its pH was also 6.2. 🤷‍♂️ The tent temperature was 86.9F, and humidity was 40%. I skipped feeding her yesterday because I was tired and not in the mood. Today she looked dry and somewhat flat before I fed her which is normal if I skip a day. However, she’s usually quick to come back to her normal chipper self after getting fed. It looks like I’m going to have to bend a couple more branches in the coming days ahead, but I’ll deal with all of that later. I’ll be so glad when she’s done growing! Happy growing everyone! 6/20/22 Skipped another day of feeding, but she didn’t get all limp as she has in the past. I finally just sat down inside the tent today after removing all of the other plants and did some serious defoliation. In addition to defoliating her, I also cut off a bunch of smaller branches that didn’t look like they were going to produce much. I figure it’s better to cut the shrubs off, so that the actual nodes get all the nutrients in order to produce some fat ass buds! My previous DarkStar cultivar I grew had some seriously large and dense nuggets, so I’m hoping for the same from her. She took another gallon of water today mixed with the same nutrients as the 18th, so I won’t list them again here. The initial pH was 6.3, and I didn’t adjust it. She had plenty of runoff, and the runoff pH was 6.2. The tent was 84.2F, and the humidity was 52%. Stella was practically naked when I finished with her today, and I’m looking forward to seeing how she looks tomorrow. I’ve cleared out all the clutter, and I was also able to raise the light up a few more inches today using some other bands to connect it to the top of the tents frame. She is about 10 inches below the light now, but she still has a couple long branches that are within 6 inches of the light. It’s still better than it was earlier today when some of the buds were above the light. My grow room is doing great right now, and I hope all of yours are as well. Happy growing everyone! 6/23/22 I’ve been a neglectful grower as of late! I was busy outside the house yesterday, and didn’t have time to feed my girls. They all looked okay today, except Stella. I defoliated her to the extreme the other day, so she looks dryer than usual. However, she is a wonderfully strong cultivar which can withstand a lot of issues; such as high heat, as well as long periods without water. But she does have her limits to which I don’t want to find out. She took a whole gallon today with plenty of runoff. She received the following nutrients: CALiMAGic - 2 ml FloraMicro - 4.7 ml FloraGro - 3.8 ml FloraBloom - 8.5 ml Floralicious Plus - 2ml Liquid KoolBloom - 2 ml The initial pH was 6.3, and was not adjusted. Her runoff pH was 6.2, which is excellent! The tent temperature was 85F, with 51% humidity. Stella is mainly bud nodes at this point, and all of them are just starting to fatten up. I love this part of the grow! Watching something turn from nothing, to something amazing is awesome! The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! 5/4 I stupidly watered everything this morning. They were pretty much perfect weight for transplant......then I watered them. Oh well. If that's the worst mistake I make I'll be ecstatic. Went back over and found my 1 gal and 2 of those wierd slanty airports that tapers and holds like a gallon and a half and washed them. I mixed up 12 gallons of soil in a garbage bag and mixed it thoroughly with my gloved hands. It's mixed good. Looking at my plants in sadness thinking, "today could've been the day" and noticed a Special Kush of average size I didn't water that weighed in the 220's. I was happy. I filled the pit arpund a cup before removing it leaving the perfect hole. Mykos and water were poured in. Plant came out of the cup REALLY easy. Suprisingly easy. This wasn't totally dry. I was amazed it came out so easy so I kinda rolled it around looking at the roots. I started lowering it in the hole and I felt something break away but it webt DIRECTLY into the hole made for it. I tucked some soil around it but it was pretty tight from packing it around the empty cup. Didn't take a picture but the plant is fine. That was an average size plant too. So I may have to give some of the strains I popped later a little longer before I transplant. After everything's been transplanted I'll need to change lighting again. I think I'll open the window and use the hps and the l.e.d on the days and nights cThat's these girls won't be hardening off. I so wanna go plant those others but my intuition tells me to wait until morning and it's been serving me well. A couple can stay in cups longer. Not much longer but still. 5/5 Transplanted everything but two this morning into 1 gals with 1/2 happy frog half ocean forest. Mykos and water used during transplant. Found put the l.e.d was on for 24hrs for a while. I made sure the timer switch was ON but it was a different cord plugged in. Oh well. All transplants went perfect. I'm picking up an adapter for the outlet so I can plug the power strip into the timer and only use one timer. I had to hang the 150watt hps back up with the 1,000 watt equivelant 105 true watts. I hope this lighting setup works. Chemdog #4 and One MK Ultra will be transplanted later today or later in the morning. I also opened the shade to the south facing window. Shits getting real. EDÌT: I FINISHED TRANSPLANTING THE LAST TWO PLANTS AND PICKED UP THE ADAPTER SO I COULD HANG THE HPS NEXT TO THE L.E.D. THEY WERE FIBE WHILE I WAS GONE. EASIEST TRANSPLANTS EVER. THEY ALL LOOKED PERKY AND HAPPY SIX OR SEVEN HOURS POST TRANSPLANT. I OPENED THE CURTAIN TO (SOUTH FACING WINDOW) BUT I MADE SURE THE PLANTS WEREN'T IN THE DIRECT LIGHT. EVEN THOUGH IT WOULD PROBABLY BE FINE. LAST TIME I HAD SEEDLING IN DIRECT LIGHT. I'LL PLAY IT BY EAR BUT IM HAPPY. EDIT 2. Went back over to meditate by the stream and do my qigong. It's 75 and BEAUTIFUL today. The girls will be going out for a few hours on days like this. Anyway when I went in I was surprised to see everything looking nice and happy with praying leaves. Nothing is in direct sunlight but damn that window let's in a lot of light. 5/6 Girls LOVED the transplant! They seem to be all happy. No stress. Easiest transplant I've done. Leaves are praying upwards so I think the lights are approx tje right distance. They'll be going outside soon to harden off. It's been in the 70s but it's rainy now. I'll play it by ear according to weather. I'll continue to monitor lighting and I may lower the hps. 5/7 The soil was super dry when I went over this morning. Everything looked awesome though. I used about a half gallon watering. I don't want to water to run off. I want to keep the nutes IN the soil. It's also easier to fix an undet watered plant than an over watered one. It came out to about a half gaterade bottle on the biggest and half that on the smallest. I'll gradually increase water after I monitor the response. The water sat on the soil for quit a while so they definitely needed it. Looking good so far. 5/8 Soil lookeddry this morning. I think I'm going to up the water. Last time I dod seeds I gave like a pink. Some plants still had a little dampness where I watered that I could see. Others looked dry but happy. I gave the REAL dry bigger ones a small circle around the rootball. Just in case. I'm thinking of lowering the hps slightly so it's at least level with tje L.E.D. That window being open gives tons of light. If u moved them slightly left they'd get DIRECT sun most of the time. I'll be bringing them outside soon to start hardening them off. EDIT: WENT TO CHECK THE GIRLS AT 5 TO MAKE SURE THEY WERENT DRIED OUT. THESE GIRLS ARENT JUST GETTING BIGGER BY THE DAY THEYRE LOOKING BIGGER FROM MORNING TO NIGHT! ITS BEEN RAINING LIKE CRAZY BUT WE WILL HAVE GREAT WEATHER NEXT WEEK AND I'LL BE BRINGING THEM OUTSIDE. I'M SUPER HAPPY WITH GROWTH SO FAR. ILL PROBABLY HST (TOP/FIM) AT THE NEXT NODE. I WANT THEM TO SETTLE IN NICELY BEFORE STRESSING THEM. 5/9 I may have stupidly uploaded doubles of pictures from today. Soil LOOKED real dry. I gave the plants their first real watering. I still went light. Almost a gallon with all plants. I know many say I should be watering to runoff but I want to keep the nutes in the soul as long as I can I don't want to overwater. I always start out careful. Once they show they xan tolerate it I'll increase water next time. This weekend it will be raining but after that we are getting some real good weather and I'll he taking the girls out to begin hardening off. I also need to take a look and top/FIM the plants now that they are settled. Also need to wash grow bags and sanitize outside. 5/10 It's pouring out. Horrible night and morning but this is about cannabis. After the watering ALL the plants shot up in size! Substantially. Leaves are over the sides of containers. I think I'm somewhere close with the watering schedule. I may bring the hps light down a little. I also NEED to start HST. I need to FIM and/or top these girls. Unfortunately I've been dealing with medical problems of my wife so I haven't got to it. If I get some sleep I may do something this morning or in the afternoon.

Less is more. Lesson learned. Without training these plants, having the fifth plant has really cramped the tent. Because I have limited space for the tent, access into the sides isn't possible. I have only the front entrance. Next time I think I will stick yo maybe three strains that have been positive and try and find the time to train more. The WOS-Northern/Skunk has grown out so nicely into a Xmas tree type of posture. She is making her really good friends with her neighbours, perhaps to their detriment. Seedsman Blueberry continues to be solid and unphased by anything. This is the first time I have smelled a plant that has such a fruity aroma. It really took me aback in surprise. Very cool. HiFi 4G needs support. Did a McGyver solution for the time being. Doesn't appear to have bulked up much this week. Jack is about the same. A bit of bulk up but not expecting this one to be a big yielder. Appears healthy overall so I'm happy. CBD+ bulked up for sure on the main cola's. I'm skeptical she will be done at 60 days at this point....but have to trust what Dinafem are telling me. Be safe folks.
