D56 - Today is the first day in the eighth week of veg for #2 and the seventh for #1. This will be the final week of veg for the girl as I'm ready to flip in a few days. I did the last heavy defoliation by removing most leaves and branches except the tops. I aim to get the girl to put all the flowering energy into the tops and hopefully result in big colas without popcorn nugs or larf. I did keep a few clones from each girl, though. After defoliation, I sprayed down the girl with my chili tincture to combat the thrips. I took great care to hit all leaves on both sides. This tincture is harsh to work with, and I was coughing like mad, and I damn near filled my N95 mask with snot (yummy!). After all this snot, drool and coughing, I just wanted to be done for the day, so I stressed checking out how my new scrog frame fits. The frame, of course, fell and broke one of the tops clean off. Ugh! I tried to fix it with some tape but the break was in a weird spot and it didn't work. Not a massive deal as it was a corner top, and there will be 15 other tops. Still annoying, but hey, it's my damn fault for stressing. D57 - The girls have bounced back nicely from their heavy defoliation. I just snapped a couple of pics as I hung a blue sticky trap in the tent. I always have regular yellow sticky traps in my tent to monitor pest pressure. However, thrips aren't that interested in yellow but are attracted to blue. D59 - I flipped my lights today from the veg mode to the flower-inducing mode. I have no idea how much these girls will stretch, so better sooner than later. Also, I finally got around to start training one of the tops toward the middle of each girl. (About damn time!) I've thought about it for quite a while but have been ignoring it. The lights are flipped now, so we are almost out of veg time. Now or never! D62 - The girls look healthy, and I can't see any thrip damage on the newer leaves. Fingers crossed that the buggers are gone! I gave each girl around 2.5-liters of water @ pH 6.3.

Very easy first grow very happy with results best weed I ever smoked and I can only get better from here so I'm excited to keep seeing more and more progress

The plant continues to grow and the buds seem to be getting bigger but still without pistils and it seems to have micro seeds and the smell is very strong and reminiscent of oranges

Checked the fast bud Cherry Cola and gorilla cookies in paper towel and it had a nice tap root so it went in to the the Ocean from Fox farm with the center using a starter seed CoCo mix. So now we have two seed planted with tap roots in soil with clear solo cup over the top with some spritzes of water in the cup to keep the humidity up over the seed until they pop through the soil.

The tallest pheno is ready and being flushed for a couple of days now, rhe others are close but still consuming nutrients at a strong rate , I think they will take at least 1 more week. They smell very much like gelato as a group but are all very different from one another .

I had to buy a new tent, they started stretching and out grew my other one.. I clipped off a lot of big fan leaves but ima need to cut more ..their looking pretty good tho 💯✌️🏼

December 2nd: Week 6 has started, hopefully last week of veg, defoliating, started feeding Sweet Candy, reducing humidity... more to come Tuesday night and it's end of week 6 or day 42, they are doing well, about 16 inches tall and bushy but I feel like another week of veg wouldn't hurt, hoping to get them all around 18 inches tall before I flip Comments and likes appreciated, stay high

She looks well the internodes are quite spaced. The stem is thickened each week that passes the leaves are emerald green with five fingers. She has received 100 ml of phd water. I’ll keep her under the leds see how she does!!!

A smaller one on where i applied 2 techniques, a double topping (Topping x3), and a bit defoliation as can be shown in the video, she ended up with 0.5 m tall, 4 main colas, and the most dense buds i had among my autos. @Weight: The weight dried was surprisingly equal in both plants, while the bigger plant ended up in 67 gr, the small one was 62 gr and with much more bud density and crystal concentration, anyway both plants were very dense and crystal poblated. On wet, the weights were 276 g vs 226 g the smaller, what is translated wet2dry in a 24,28% vs 27,43% for the smaller one FTW!. That difference is very well appreciated in the density of the smaller plant buds, while both are very dense/compact/strong, the smaller plant buds are really MoonRocks. @Trim: Well well well, this part was awesome, very very very little amount of trim material, i finish the trimming of the bigger plant in about 6 min and 15 for the smaller what is real awesome in both cases, and the quality of the trims was incredible too, very good to ice wash it. @ Final product: The final product is almost equal in both plants, the smallest one acquired a stronger taste and concentration of crystals than the taller one, while both tastes are strong grapefruit, when you smoke buds from the small one is like real eating a grapefruit and it leaves a residual taste to orange some seconds after exhaling it, and when you touch or tear up any of both plants, the smell is also very strong to Grapefruit. My friends were shocked by the strong taste and smell to grapefruit it has, really. A la hora de tocarla o desmenuzar cualquiera de ellas el resultado es igualmente un fuerte aroma a pomelo. I supercropped the tall Enemy of the State branches that were in the light. As you can see In the video there was no light burn! We also have about 30” of light penetration even though I’ve not performed any defoliation! Loving these lights.

I forgot to setup the cam for week two after adjusting the height. Oh well maybe next week. Ghetto lights again, full spectrum with some FL. LED has a 2400RPM fan on a 5LBs heat-sink it gets hot AF like 400 watts all lights from the wall. Three Types of White Light-emitting Diodes on same grow warm, neutral, and cool, with 11%, 19%, and 28% blue light, respectively. Overall, the low blue light from warm white LEDs increased stem elongation and leaf expansion, whereas the high blue light from cool white LEDs resulted in more compact plants. Initial growth under cool white LEDs should promote the growth of short, sturdy hypocotyls. Subsequent transition to warm white LEDs should promote leaf expansion. Finally, after canopy closure, cool white LEDs should be used again to prevent excessive stem elongation. These effects could also be obtained by modulating the electrical current to red and blue monochromatic LEDs, achieving different blue ratios without the requirement for two sets of LEDs. Cool white LEDs may be the light source of choice because their high percentage of blue light (25%) means that they can meet the blue light requirements for normal development, even at low PPFs. Furthermore, measurements indicate that cool white LEDs are more electrically efficient than the neutral and warm white LEDs.
