More pistils are starting to turn orange and buds are looking good and healthy, I've got no burnt tips and so im guessing the nutrient mix is balance nicely after removing the silica after it kept reacting with the mix. Done another defoliation to get that light where it's needed, im very happy with these two plants as they are only my 2nd and 3rd plants I've ever grown. Thanks for stopping by✌️

I had a busy week. I updated my 4" exhaust fan to a Cloudline 6" booster exhaust fan and a bigger carbon filter. I also added another mini-fan that can oscillate and I had to add a heater. Why you ask? Because I got a CO2 tank from a friend and it is recommended to have temps in between 85-95 degrees. Granted I could have used it three weeks ago but better late than never. I have a nice CO2 monitor inside the chamber and I use the internal video camera to watch the readings. I have also added some HydroGuard to help the roots. They are slightly brown and another grower recommended it. Daphni continues to grow well and has maintained her dark green color. She has also started to make pistils and they are starting to form into buds just three days after first pistil sighting. I can smell her now too. latest readings are Air Temp = 79F, Humidity = 42%, PPM = 1810, pH = 5.9. Concerning my roots, I put a black trash bag over the top of the reservoir to keep as much light out as possible. The reservoir is tan and white and I think light was getting thru.

Going along well have no microscope so idk where the trichromes are at....

1/14: This morning, I did a foliar application of big bloom and fulvic acid, then about 5 hours later I watered them with about a half-gallon of rainwater each and added armor si, humic acid, endoboost myco/tricho, liquid molasses, and a bunch of cal-mag. Today, I also I wired up and mounted my new samsung sun board strips (660nm/730nm) and my Solacure FlowerPower UVB fixture. I'm running the deep red/far red bud boosters a few hours per day right now, but will run them for the entire photoperiod once I start flowering them. I'll run the UVB for 4 * 15-minute sessions a day for the full flowering cycle, and if they don't protest too much I'll increase each session by 5 minutes and evaluate again. Some strains are more forgiving than others and I've got 5 different strains in this space...so really not sure much time I'll get away with exposing them to the deadly rays without damaging them too much...😈 1/15: I received one of the rapid led/growmau far red initiator pucks today. With the placement of my UVB light, I'm realizing I'll need another far red puck to have even and intense far red coverage, so I'm ordering another with Prime delivery and waiting to start flowering until I receive it. I sprayed them down really well with ph adjusted rainwater tonight to rinse off nutrient build-up from foliar applications. 1/16: I'm really excited to try flowering under 14/10. I grew photos indoors on an off for 15 years before I semi-retired. If I added up all the additional flowering time I could have done through the years if LED technology existed, I'd have had an extra truckload of bud to smoke. I did another application of Axiom Harpin a|b Proteins this evening, right before dark. I'm expecting a big growth burst this week, leading up to the flower stretch. I really need them to trigger under 14/10 within 4 or 5 days🙏 ...if not, I'll switch to 13/11 and wait a few more days🙏😟..if still no pistils are poppin, I'll go to 12/12 and chalk it up as bad luck or varietal indifference to Pr and Pfr manipulation. 1/17: I fed each of them about 3/4 gallon of full strength veg nutes. This will be the last. Day 73: Early/mid flower for G. Crack & Mexican.. nearing late for CBD crack. These girls are thirsty, so much watering is happening, but the smell isn't nearly as strong as the first round is even though they are all bigger. This is a test post for videos, next one will be for the contest. Day 75: G-crack 58cm CBD Crack 30cm Mexican Airlines 20cm CBD is closest to maturity. Her leggy stature gives ample opportunity for the different buds to get light. Mex is starting to get fuller buds, but she's short and stout and her leaves are in the way. G is way too large for me to get the right amount of light on her, wish I had defoliated her more, will probably harvest in parts. None of these girls smell as strongly as the previous grow. CBD is a bit diesely but fresh. G is smokey but light right now. Mexican is spicey and woodsy. I can't really place the scents just yet.

Ahora también mi pequeña carpa casera queda en exclusiva para las dos plantas hermanas y auto florecientes que estoy cultivando esta temporada. Day 126: DWC should be changed but I’m busy Day 127: eager to harvest but only saw one bit of amber and not enough cloudy. Tent seems a bit hot during the day. Increasing fan speed but wondering if I need to add moisture now. Day 128: Added 4 gallons water today with 8tsp Funky Broadway 5.7pH 500ppm 1.063ec Day 129: just photos. Figuring out how to use this new microscope. Thinking harvest is this weekend. Day 130: just pictures. Maybe some amber? Definitely harvesting this weekend. Still concerned it’s sister in soil is a week behind. Day 131: I spy some amber. Is it time to harvest? Day 132: just pictures. Still figuring out the microscope. Sometimes hard to decide if the trichome is cloudy or just out of focus.

Noticed some slight yellowing of the leaf tips around the first node so I held off from any more nutrients. Just fed her some distilled water. She seems to be doing better now. Removed the lower leaves and node also.
