Packing up a bit now. Colours are amazing, really deep purple nearly both black leaves and bright red calyx's. Absolutely stinks too, like a really pungent nose burning smell haha almost unpleasant, fruitiness is there and it's like a berry and liquorice maybe, it's really strange . A few Amber trichomes are forming but very few. Going to check back next week and see how far off before I start flushing.

3/8 (0745): CP weedlings look super happy. Can see the next node starting to develop between the fan leaves! HK and 710 germinating away. 3/8 (1600): Horticultural charcoal was delivered yesterday so I did a little top dress on the seedlings. Gave a light watering too. 3/9 (0730): Second node is coming in quick! Seeds still germinating but expecting to see green tonight or tomorrow AM. 3/9 (2230): CP growing strong, expect the second set of leaves by EOD tomorrow. HK and 710 broke soil over the course of the evening and will be upright by tomorrow morning! Learned from some key mistakes: didn’t water as much, planted the seed deeper so the shell would come off. Feeling good!! 3/10 (1200): HK and 710 seedlings are making their way up today! Had to help the 710 out of the inner seed coating, which was holding the cotyledons together. Both seedlings are open and getting sunlight, everyone's very happy. Both CPs are growing their second node quickly. 3/10 (2245): watered CPs. PH 6.4 going in and 7.1 coming out. Have been misting the HK/710 as needed. 3/12 (0900): watered/misted all. PH. 6.2 going in and 6.4 coming out. Much better. CPs are filling out their 3-bangers and have the start of growth for the fives. Ordered some smart plugs yesterday in the hopes of automating environment control a little.

I never actually weighed this plant once dried. I would estimate around 400+ grams as I gave away so much to friends and it still lasted me well over 2 years. Beleive it or not, my wife who disapproves of me smoking never knew I was growing. Until the end that is when she needed a screw driver and entered my shed to see what you can see in the videos. Hahahaha, it took a while to recover from this thats for sure. After this crop was finished, I basically rarely smoked for 4 years until I decided to go under lights this year. And now outdoors again with my latest project.

OG Lemoniada – Week 9 Update (Harvest Day 65) The journey with OG Lemoniada has officially come to an end! She was harvested on day 65 of flowering after showing perfect signs of maturity – a thick, frosty main cola, faded fan leaves, and a terpene profile that was just screaming to be locked in. The last week was all about low temps and low RH to bring out color, enhance trichome production, and slow the drying process right from the plant. The citrus-gas aroma was peaking, and the buds felt dense and sticky. Overall, OG Lemoniada delivered everything I hoped for – she’s definitely a keeper. This grow was a bit stretched, took longer to finish then the previous grow. Buds are dense, lots of fluff from below canopy and no real huge colas. Was a decent harvest at a gram per watt, but I want to get more!!!

Flowering day 72 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) . Of course there is one last update after trimming. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with the update. I will say that the game is not worth the candle with one plant, it's a waste of time to use nutrients. We'll see how it tastes...

Day 64

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

So this week was just a few adjustments in regards to environmental conditions...done abit of defoliation for air movement and prevention of extra moisture...The aim is no mold or bacteria having any chance to multiply or even exist..absolutely not! I ain't about to ruin this ladies! Other than that...no issues..just maintain the process and environment. I do not want any major changes in that regards, especially during the early flowering stage. I would like to thank all the Grommies for checking out this grow and showing love.🌿
