Earlier this week our very own sidelibe reporter Lyetah Nutherwon was able to catch up with the clone 1Leaf aka The 1, and discuss the plants recent success. We will now take you there live, to the transcript of that interview L..N.:"So 1 Leaf, what has been the key to your recent success?" 1: "I think the biggest keys have been taking advantage of light and nutrients while also making sure i stay well hydrated." L.N.: "How has all the success changed your life and is it hard not to let it go to your head?" 1: "Nah it doesnt go to my head cuz Im pretty much topped all the way around. I believe its important to stay in touch with your roots and remember where you came from. What makes you who you are. I had a rough dome life growing up and like to stay in touch with that part of me and use it as motivation. L.N. "motivation for what? What would you like to change?" 1: "I don't want young clones growing up feeling the way I felt. Indica, Sativa, Hybrid....we're all the same genus. Indoor plants...outdoor plants....we all need to come together. We dont have to agree about everything just respect one another regardless of what color our leaves are, the spectrum we prefer, whether or not we are foliated or defoliated, nutrient burned or nutrient deficient." L.N. "That sounds down right reasonable 1 Leaf. You should probably be ruler of the universe. What about all the strainists and haters? If plants want something to blindly hate then why not just hate seedling molesters? Just cuz an indica or a sativa wronged you doesnt mean they all will. There's good and bad phenotypes of all strains....but there aren't any good seedling molesters. So let's all just hate them instead. L.N.: "That might be the most logical thing I've ever heard. That's fantastic. So how do u want to finish your career?" 1: "My ultimate goal is to get into flower and become a legendary bud and resin producer. That's my dream. Then once I'm done with the flower game, I want to be rolled up into a big ol' hooter, light me up and pass my ass around the world so everybody can get lit together and stop being dicks to each other. Then I want somebody to make Beans a big ass sandwich."👍 End Wow....powerful stuff right there. I'd like to put that in my pipe and smoke it. After trimming everything under the net she has focused on sprouting more upwards towards the light, stems are nice and thick and budsites are nice and even so will grow evenly when budding!

Day 82. Its 81 day from seed touched soil ! If leaves would be healthier, i would run them at least one more week, but it is, what it is. They spent 24 hours in darkness and now its Trim Jail !!! ;))) Harvest Day ! Day 88. Tried bud from each, clearest weed straight from drying rack ! Only 3 feeds makes huge difference to harshness at the beggining. Still Queen is pure Tangie, can it be seed mistake ? ;))) Day 89. Boy i am f@ckingly surprised !!! Heather - I love You, Your team, Your strains !!!! I still don't get how, but numbers are amazing, Thank You very much !!!! Will update this diary as cure goes, but i feel so many nice words were unspoken, felt that FB will change my view about Autos - and they DID !!! Amazing house ! Happy Growing !

Sep 7: nice lemony smell happening and the buds are forming. Not a particularly fast flowering plant but it’s going good. Sep 8: got some time under the UV light this afternoon. Once the Blueberry Pie is done she’ll get more UV light hours but for now she has to wait her turn. Sep 12: cool nights starting to cause some purple colour. Nice smell to her, but really leafy and seems a bit slow. Watered with potassium silicate and cal-mag today.

she reached her maximum amber potential, I think ... her biggest leaves are drying ... I get to the last ... I was only fed with prganic products always ... a citrus smell. smell of forests and fruit in their buds...This is his last week of flowering ... with his compact and hard buds

This fifth week started off kinda rough. I had to remove some sick leaves that got hit by leaf miners. I’ve cleaned up all the damaged parts from the plants, including this one. On Monday, I’m gonna spray them with a ready-to-use mix that has Neem oil, nettle extract, and horsetail. I also noticed a slight nutrient deficiency, probably because until now I was only watering with untreated tap water — didn’t check the pH at all. Even when I fertilized, I still used water with no pH adjustment. I’ve only just started using pH-controlled water like two or three times now, since I finally bought a pH meter. Now I’m watering and fertilizing with everything adjusted to 6.5, so that’s something I need to keep in mind from now on. I’m planning to bump up the fertilizer to 1 ml per 500 ml of water. I’m using Biobizz Bloom, and I wanna keep the dose like that because the pot is small — just 3.2 liters — so I don’t wanna overdo it with 1 liter of water. I’ve noticed that 500 ml works just fine, so I’ll stick to that. Other than that, everything seems to be going okay.

Hi growers. It's end of week 5 of flowering. So far, all girls looks quite well, only OG is showing that he is missing some zink.. Hope to heal her... Red mandarine is showing her true color as well.. Live that purple!! Stay stoned and keep growing! One love!

Ab geht’s in die Blütephase! Die Kabul erweist sich meines Erachtens bisher pflegeleicht. Außer das ich sie am Anfang zur Seite gebogen habe, entwickelt sie sich kräftig. Die Seitentriebe haben sich ihren Platz ergattert und wachsen kräftig mit. Zur besseren Belüftung habe ich im unteren Bereich ein wenig Blätter und kleine Triebe entfernt. Nix spannendes… Ich beobachte jetzt ihren Stretch und werde dann nochmal in ca. zwei Wochen etwas radikaler dran gehen. 😎

I still found a few places with bud rot and I keep removing every spot I see. The plants have been doing fine beside that, they are looking and smelling great, they are super dense and I can't wait for them to be ready. Most trichomes are still clear so I am awaiting for the first ambers to show up, aiming for around 5% amber and 95% milky.

I've turned down the lights again to 60%, and with the increased feeding last week, the GMO and Glookies really seem to be getting back some green where it was almost gone. The overdose in N from CalMag Agent seemed to have done the trick. Some of the lower leaves on the Glookies are already quite dark green, and since I expect to harvest (some) in 2-5 weeks, I don't want to overfeed it now. So I have reduced the CalMag Agent level again. Sour Strawberry and Acapulco Gold are unimpressed and continue to slowly fade. They have also gained a bunch of weight again, all in all it's going ok now.

Day 43 - growing very well, preflowering a. defoliated some of the under runt growth b. bumped up the nutrients to my preflowering blend, 850ppm in DWC now, offsetting the measurements based of what is already in the res. c. PH is 6.5, the plant is liking the dwc, very similar growth to West Coast OG d. Fastbuds specifically recommends 6.5 PH for this strain, we are following directions e. performed some very light LST to the outside branches Day 44 - the very light LST is great a. the plant is really stretching out b. there are going to be many colas Day 45 - drinking alot of water a. growing very well, vegging hard b. added 4L to the DWC, 1000ppm Day 46 - she is stretching upward a. everything is going great, I love Fastbuds! b. when all other breeders are failing us, Fastbuds shines through Day 47 - growing well a. all is well in the world with our plant! Day 48 - growing well all over a. she is stretching upward, lowering the light a bit to encourage even more growth, 45cm away Day 49 - what a monster! a. all is growing well, in Geneva for the week, my grow partner is sending photos to me!

Finally split up the plants. The big auto has the 2x2 shower to herself now and the bathtub is plenty big for the smaller auto and the vegging bag seed/"mutant". Add the bath tub to the list of domestic areas in my home that Mary Jane has claimed :P Removing "grow big" from the nurse mix, despite it being recommended in the nute guide provided by fox farm that came with the trio I've been using, seemed to do wonders for the stunting/Yellowing. Unfortunately the top leaves on the bigger auto wilted seemingly irreparably (except for the middle one, like it's flipping me off for putting it through some rough shit >.<). All the other leaves perked back up and are in the process of uncurling. Thanks for all the answers, you guys. I'm gonna run a flush on these babies tonight or tomorrow. It's been 48 hours since their last watering of 1gal in a 5gal pot, so they should be good to go. Wish me luck!
