Tag 113: Die letzte Woche hat begonnen. Ich versuche so weit es mir möglich ist die Luftfeuchtigkeit und Temperatur zu senken. Momentan funktioniere ich im Automatic Modus, habe viel um die Ohren gerade 😯

Final Report: Grow: The plants has grown very beautiful and healty without pests and diseases. They grown bushy and with medium height during the vegetative stage. I had try to use LST in third veg week but i did't made correctly and after that i dicided to return to grown normally without any particolar tecnique. I used a littel more fertilizer then mine usual and that made the plants grown fast without any problem. In the first two weeks of flowering stage the plants started grow taller and the number of the branches increase, in this phase i only defoliated when the fan leaves turn yellow in late stage. Form the start to the end the flowers grown dense and bigger every day and this time i waited until almost all of them were mature before harvest the plants. I changed the plants from one grow room to another(in the sixth week) when they became too high and they couldn't stay more in the smaller grow box(nothing changed in the enviroment between the two boxes). Equipment and grow box: The enviorment of grow box has been optimized every stage with the right temperature, umidity and air flow. Vegetative temp/umidity --> 23-29 °C/45-55% Flowering temp/umidity --> 20-26 °C/40-50% The air flow was created by two pc fans and one big fan. Harvest: This time i harvest a big numeber of beautifull dense buds and i just discarde only few fluffy buds in the lower branches. The result of this grow is amezing compared to my old expiriences. I harvested the flower and i made a fast curing process after i washed the crop and i let them to dry with a fan on it. After five days a take the branches which were to dry and i did the final trimmig before put all the harvest in a open jar for finishing to dry. I collected all the leaves, fluffy buds and trimming scraps in a bag and i let them dry. Later i put the bag in the freezer and when i collect and dried all the scraps from OG Kush and Dandoverde Haze i did some Ice-O-Lator hash. I used 250g of trimming stuff and i made 11.50 g of hash, I had use a set of 5 bag and i take the resin from the 160µ - 120µ - 73µ- 25µ bags. I pressed all the resin in a great block of tasty strong hash. Always better every time 😊💪 Total harvest ---> 90g only of dense buds and 11.50g of hash.

Day29: New sets of leaves. I'll repot and switch to proper Veg Lights on the weekend. Day30: I'll repot tomorrow. Day31: Repotting done. She had a crazy amount of roots in the seedling pot. MUCH more than I expected. I switched to Veg lights at 90% power. Day32: Settling in new pot Day33 & 34: I had to perform some maintenance on the tent. Lost some hours due to that. Day35: Growth really looking healthy. Although she's not really stretching high, she does look rather happy. I do like them thicc ;) General: I need to put the camera somewhere else so that the growth can be better seen. Right at the end I'll edit out the white flashes. They're caused by the humidifier running and will be really easy to cut out without losing the gist of the grow :)

After vegging the plants for a few weeks I transplanted them to the flowering tent. They will stay in veg a maximum of 1 more week and then I will switch them in to flower. I also added worms to the soil to keep it nice and airy and have a as natural grow as possible.

Quick kush is called quick for a reason 👌, nice big indica leaves starting to grow and stretch pretty fast, i had to re pot one of the girls so one of them might look a bit sad but she will get better (its the salts) Flushing and Buffering- I am personally using Canna Coco Coir,mix with one brick of plagron coco coir(had one left). 1. Why you Should buffer your Coco. Lets get to reading! (Its Worth it for those that dont know about it) There are cation exchange sites in coco that will interfere with nutrition until they are buffered. The cation exchange sites in coco naturally come loaded with sodium (Na) and potassium (K) cations. However, the Na and the K are only weakly held to the exchange sites. In the presence of calcium (Ca) or magnesium (Mg), the sites will release their Na or K cations and lock onto the Ca or Mg. These processes are known as “cation exchanges”. Buffering coco is accomplished by soaking it in Ca and Mg. This allows the cation exchanges to take place prior to adding plants. Simply soak your coco in a solution of Cal/Mag water and the exchange sites will release their K and Na cations and lock onto the Ca and Mg. When the cation exchange sites bond with Ca and Mg rather than Na and K, it is “buffered”. The bonds that hold the Ca and Mg to the sites are very strong and cation exchange will largely stop. This means that all of the nutrients that you add to the water will be available to the plant at the ratios that you provide them. 2. Alot of growers Grow in Unbuffered coco coir and its a big mistake guys, I myself was a "victim"😬of unbuffered coco and it does cause alot of problems... now i am going to try and fix them! -----GROWING IN UNBUFFERED COCO--- Many growers are unaware of the need to buffer the coco and they try to grow plants in unbuffered coco. In unbuffered coco, the cation exchange sites will strip the nutrient solution of the Ca and Mg and replace those cations with Na and K. This creates a sub-optimal Nutrient Element Ratio (NER) and renders Ca and Mg unavailable to the plant. Failing to buffer the coco is why so many growers suffer calcium deficiencies in coco grows. Manufacturers of prepared coco products try to exploit these problems and convince growers that only their proprietary products are suitable for growing. However, it is actually very simple to properly buffer your coco yourself. This tutorial walks you through the process and provides all the information you need to turn even the cheapest brick of dehydrated coco into a superior growing medium. 8/17 Watered everything but the 50. Found two leaves with sep markings on the pink kish in the 50. Definitely not using old soil again. I'm pretty sure THIS plant contracted it from the soil and not the way the others did with the lawn mower and birdseed hijinx. It's supposed to rain for the first time basically all summer. It's am 80% chance so I HELD OFF ON PLANT DOCTOR AND DID NOT APPLY as I'm supposed to have a clear day after. I'll apply the plant doctor in the morning. I'm hoping this rain will knock down a bunch of those thrips. They seem to be on a small branch on a plant or two. One or two leaves show damage and I'll pick them off. I figure I'll get them after I apply plant doctor. I'll use either citric acid or just my regular bt-k pillar treatment with Castille or liquid soap. That will kill them as well. I'm on really worried about it. I also might just buy a bunch of lady bugs and unleash them once things get further along. EDIT: TOOK A QUICK VIDEO AND A COUPLE PICS. HOPEFULLY WE GET THIS RAIN. IF NOT IM GOING TO TREAT THE THRIPS THAT ARE ON TWO PLANTS NOW. I THINK IM GOING TO GO WITH BT-K FOR NY PILLARS AND HOPE THAT THE DISH SOAP IN THE MIX KILLS THE THRIPS. THANKS. 8/18 We got the rain we were expecting. It was sheet rain for a few hourscand rained during the night. Everything was drenched and it was cold (50°F). I shook off the special kush that's way further in flower. I decided to use the leafblowrr despite the risk of spreading anything. I did it so that it wasn't ever blowing TOWARDS another plant but still. I was hoping it might blast off some thrips that might have survived that torrential rain. We've never had a dry summer like this. I'll moniter things. My water day is tomorrow so I assume that's when the girls will get their plant doctor dose. It's a great time of year for cannabis growers. We get to watch all the hard work we've put in literally pay off. It's very peaceful in the garden. EDIT: Went over at about one to check things out and do some minor defoliation. I checked on the thrip situation and I dont know if I blasted them off with the leafblower or if the rain washed them away bit I doubt it. Ivecmade the decision to treat these little bastards. It's on one plant but it's started to spread to another branch on another plant. I probably just overlooked it but still. Seeing that it rained like he'll and I'm seeing like zero signs of septoria I'm going to treat everything. At least I think I am. I haven't decided what to use. I think I could just use bt and soap and I'd probably be alright. I'd feel better doing that as it's something I'm familiar with. Outdoor growing. It's always something. 8/19 In the 40's last night. Hopefully that will help with the thrips. I was hurried and since today tops at 72° I only watered the 10th planet big mk ultra and the chem dog with preventative plant doctor. I'm not seeing hardly any septoria and if I do itsca random leaf. I mixed up 3tsp of citric acid and some Dawn in a 2 quart hand sprayer and treated the 10th planet that I thought had heat stress and the Pink kush in the ten gal that has the damage. I also treated a branch on my good tenth planet. It was the only branch with markings so I think I've got it early enough. I'm just wondering the best way to tackle this. The pink kush I'm sure, could handle spinosad. That strain is much later flowering. I'll see how the citriccacid works and go from there. If the other girls need water they'll get it when I get home alongcwith plant doctor. I've got some work to do. I'll keep this updated. Opinions are always welcome. UPDATE: THE PLANT IN THE TEN I SPRAYED LOOKS BETTER THAN WHEN I SPRAYED IT! I ALSO DIDNT WATER AS ITS UNDER 70° AND EVERYTHING I WATERED LOOKS WORSE THAN WHAT I DIDNT. The one in the 50 I found one sep leaf. Looking carefully arpund the garden I can tell that I have a thrip infestation. First time I've fought this and it seems most people don't really know what to do besides predators at the beginning of the season. I'm too far along for spinosad. At least thats what I've been told. My pro buddy said to try to spot treat it. It's not bad bit I'm afraid it might be worse than I think. The plants I treated with citric acid look MUCH better. I think I'll dial the dosage of citric acid down and start with that tonight and switch up treatments. I can get rid of them it's just going to take a ton of work. I think I've had them before and I attributed to something else. I so think that the very early pink kush plants could handle spinosad. I hope so. The plants I watered the other day look overwatered. The plants I didn't water look GREAT. The special kush in late flower looks happier than I've ever seen her. The difference being we went from 104° one day to 72 the next with 46° night Temps. This week is highs of 70's lows of high 40°'s. I've got a lot of work cut out for me. Didn't do a video as I didn't have time but I'll do one

La verdad que el secado muy bien 7 días en Malla y a los botes, 45% humedad y 23 grados es la temperatura ambiental que han tenido en el secado. 4 plantas que se cultivaron en un armario de 1.20 pero estos ejemplares solo ocuparon 80x80. Así que ya está cultivada esta gran variedad que es novedad este 2020, americana de la familia Cookies, la Tropicanna Cookies (Girl Scout Cookies x Tangie) con un porcentaje de thc entre los 17/25%, una bomba. Que decir de Agrobeta, lo peta 💪 en cuanto a nutrientes. Un saludo y buenos humos.
