hey Val, they're stretching because the light is too high, try dialing it in to 50cm tops, and also dimming that HID to around 250W for the first couple of weeks then increase as you see fit. This will help give those GG that GG structure we all know and love. good luck !

The_Projexx Well its the beginning of week 2 , remember to check my diary's daily for updates ! This week I've started with my nutrients , slowly but surely the doses will work their way up . We started with Voodoo juice and B52 from Advanced Nutrients this morning . Lets see how the lady's take it !!! I'm really excited to see the end results haha I know I got quite some time to go still but one can still day dream :) ! The_Projexx This marks the start of week 4 for these wonderful lady's . I'm going to be slowing up on the nutrients and the watering noticing some stuff I don't like seeing . For the growth difference in 1 week all I can say is WOW I'm getting very excited to see what the future holds for these young lady's !!! I'd like to thank every one for their continued support! I've learned so much in such a short amount of time because the community is KICK ASS . I'm going to be repotting these fine young lady's into their final homes at the end of this week! Stay tuned ladies and gentlemen alike and remember to check my diaries daily for updates ! Anyone checking out the pictures it isn't mites or any of that I been having a battle to get them to my standard of clean since the transplant. The_Projexx So we are now in week 5 of veg !!! 4 weeks left until I flip the lights ! Everything is going well they have grown exponentially in 1 week !! <3 <3 I can deff tell the structure will be much different then the Obi's . They've seem to have adapted well to their new homes and are loving every minute of it! Gonna be topping these young ladies in the very near future ! Topping is done usually after the 5th node, and topped to the 3rd if you are interested in main-lining/ manifold. Otherwise you can top any time after 5th node up until you start flower cycle.

The_Projexx This is the start of flowering! I started 5 days ago so we should see some bud formation really soon done some heavy training on GG#1 . Waiting on GG#2 to shoot out abit more then i will start the sliding stake technique on her as well . Waiting on the more serious formation of flowers before i give a good PK spike . The_Projexx Almost 2 weeks into flower now and things are starting to look good . The ladies got a nice shape to them looking nice and healthy they have grow a little but not much this past week I can say thats likely due to formation of flowers and getting ready for her last big stretch . All in all things are looking up in the garden cant wait to see what the future holds for me Thanks for reading ! -Happy Growing!

The_Projexx Things are going well in the garden ! I ran into a small problem last week ( my fault ) things seem to be corrected and going well ! Im guessing that the stretching is pretty much done and that we are now going to be working on flower formation ! I'm very excited to see whats in the near future for these young ladies ! They smell fantastic I got 2 different phenos for sure so thats always very exciting! The_Projexx We are now on week 5 of flowering ! I've noticed the stretch has finally come to a halt and that the flowers are getting thicker and thicker by the day . GG#1 is recovering well from my mess up but some of the damages will remain . She's still in fantastic shape She just wont be what she could have been . GG#2 is pumping out all her flowers pretty well evenly and things are going great for her , during veg i fed her way way way way to much haha this is why she has the darker green then the rest even tho the rest are equally as fed as her granted one strain isnt GG like her but one of them is and its far less green haha . Another 2-3 weeks and it will be time to start my flush ! A special thank you to all my followers and the people who come down to show their support and liovemuch appriciated you guys rock ! The_Projexx Things are going well this past week GG#1 still suffering a little big from my mess up but over all she seems to be doing ok . The leaves on both GG#1 and GG#2 are both starting to gain some colour now they are starting to get purple around the edges of the leaves so pretty soon Im going to have some extra pretty looking plants !! :D :D :D Things are going to take roughly 1 week longer then I thought originally but thats fine ! I'm really looking forward to the next few weeks to come ! I'd like to thank everyone who stops by and checks out the diary . The_Projexx So basically this is the last week I give the ladies before I flush the ladies out . Everything is going fantastic . So here's a question for all the growers out there . I miss judged the timing of my flush I was a bit pre-emptive on starting . I've only fed the plants once with Flawless Finish . What would happen if i resumed feeding with nutrients until its the right time ? Please help !!!

All 3 answers above are spot on dude. IMO - run light feeding and don’t stress the flush time too much - strictly speaking the plants roots will only take in the nutrients it needs and once you’re good to chop the only real advantage (again, IMO as this is a somewhat contentious issue) to the flush is sucking chloro outta the leaves, arguably making for a smoother smoke (also achieved with proper curing).👍😉. Good luck to the finish.👊

The_Projexx We on the cusp of the end ! Starting my flush this week to get that ultra super smooth smoke and flavour . The ladies have displayed quite the amount of purple on the leafs and some nugs . GG#2 is displaying far far more purple then GG#1 they are indeed different pheno's its gonna be quite the treat to taste the difference between the two . I've watered them already twice now with Flawless finish . Now it's just straight PH corrected water till we reach home base ! A special thank you goes out to everyone who comes down to the diary . So I can tell you this about it , its very potent . As I was doing some clippings for trich testing they dried and smoked them good taste reminds me of the parent genetic chocolate disele a lot . I was lucky enough to have 2 different phenos in my garden for this go 1 very disel for flavour ( GG#1 ) and the other disel with a hint of chocolate and berries ( GG#2 ) Over all they both yielded well and I dont have any real complaints about that ! They are very strong to mould and pests I did not suffer any problems with that what so ever and I had over watered GG#1 and she still came out quite kick ass ! I would recommend everyone to try growing this strain at least once 😁

The_Projexx Over all this was really fun to grow ! I had a good time and I learned a lot from growing this strain . The yield was pretty good got a wet weight of 412 grams ( no stems mostly just solid buds ) they smell faaaaaaannnnnnntaaaaassstic Im going to let them cure for a good bit then put in my dry weight . As i described earlier when I was checking trichs Id take little nugs away as i smoked them GG#1 tasted like disel and GG#2 tasted like disel with a hint of chocolate and berries . Overall a deffinate recommended strain to grow for anyone out there be it a beginner or pro . Id like to give a big shout out to ALL the people who come down to diarys an help me learn you guys are the bomb . I would also like to thank all my followers for being there for me and stopping in when they can you guys the best keep on rocking on . Off to the next project !!!! @The_Projexx, you can't grow soiless without an EC/PPM meter, I have no way to tell if you are feeding too much or too little. The pictures and videos are too yellow to really notice anything. I would feed a simpler solution and stop all additives, they are not really necessary. Any way, yellowing at the bottom at this point is most likely potassium deficiency.

@The_Projexx, yo! If u fixed the drainage issue then let it chill before u start plucking leaves and see what happens. Like Bulbi said, crank down the nute mix as well just to be safe. As a comparative, we’re not that far apart on grow weeks and I’m using half as much concentration in my feeds. Different nutes yes but the mix is still much lighter👍

Alright so the root of the stretch problem has been identified , when i xplanted my plug (rapid rooter) was to near the top so i added a bit more soil , i toned the lights down to 450 w and lowered them to 50 cm pictures to come shortly ! :) -Happy growing !

Awesome first run :) Wait till you smell it in a few weeks 😉 I love to see the space every plant has. I would keep going like this for a few rounds if you can, don't fall for the yield thing that your entire canopy has to be filled with bud, it just causes grievances IME. Being able to get in close with your plants and take care of them is more valuable than a scrog where you can't even lift the pots. Mites are gonna love your temps and humidity, They have become my enemy and I'm not even working with clones. Be sure to integrate some pest control and prevention in your regimen to make your plants as unappealing to pests as possible (if you haven't already). Soil is what a lot of motherfuckers like; consider topping it with something that makes it less hospitable I've heard diatomaceous earth works but I haven't tried it. Just my 2 cents, sorry if I am preaching to the choir and saying shit you already know hehe. My first run was problem-free and I got complacent.

Anyone who's looking at the close shots of the plants from Day#10 that is not mites or anything its like dirt dust from when i added the dirt and when i blow more dirt just comes up so I've given up on it for now on my next feeding I'm going to ensure that all the dirt at the top is moist so when i blow the little specs away the dirt don't go flying lol lol - Happy growing !

Hi @The_Projexx! You're doing great, you might consider lowering your pH to the ideal pH range for soiless setups: 5.5~5.8 and give them a good meal as soon as possible, since coco doesn't contain anything, you must add nutrients from the very first days of the seedlings otherwise they will encounter deficiencies. At this stage, a good root-stimulator and a slight dose of Nitrogen is all your babies need. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

@Silverback_Guerilla, Nah she don't got long to go and I don't wanna stress her out plus I got lots of sponsors I gotta keep happy so Im going to be moving on to a new set of strains for my next diary's . Its likely going to be some GSC or Cookies cream and some Dark Devil auto for my next go . So that's something to look forward too . My following grow after that will be photo periods again and it will be Candy Cream and Gorilla Zkittles . so far that's my line up for 2019 there will be more but time is always against me haha Thanks for taking the time to come hang out on the diary man :) -Happy Growing!

@Ferelite, I'm actually raising my light a bit and turning it back up to 600w get this veg cycle into full swing , I know they cant absorb all the photons that 600w will put out but i want them to be used to the strength of the light that way there's no issues later on with burn and heat curling . so far so good tho :) I'm working on my second node pushing out them leafs !

I've already turned it back up to 600w they seem to really like it , I will be taking pictures very shortly as my daily update , I had to raise my lamp a bit because the heat was a little wild but we are under control now . Im having humidity problems right now trying to figure out a way to fix it without having to go buy a humidifier lol ,

But at first reduce the output of you lamps and get the girls nearer to it......they should not stretch more, because leaves getnn heavy. maybe sone airflow from a fan can fatten the stems, you can dig them deeper or give some additive soil around the stems
