Hey now, so this week went very well! The genetics from Sweet Seeds have been very strong...some of the biggest and greenest leaves I have ever seen, and they seem extremely resistant to everything! I am still feeding twice per day, with CalMag, and Maxigro, with an EC of 1.4 total. I am still using the Mars Hydro SP250 which has been amazing. I did raise the light on day 33 as I am trying to keep the light approximately 18-24 inches from the canopy. I must say these genetics from sweet seeds have been amazing! These ladies have been extremely happy, healthy, and green, no matter what conditions I have put them through! I am still feeding Veg Nutrients by GH, but I will be switching to Bloom Nutrients and adding a Bloom Blooster either this weekend or early next week. I will be starting out bloom nutrients at about 1.2 EC., and then gradually raising until I hit 1.8 Thanks for checking me out, and Blaze On!!!

May 24th - Day 97: It's amazing to see how well the babies have recovered. Unfortunately, two of them have pretty much died, but hey, more space for the others to grow! Humidity is still quite unstable because I increased the frequency of watering, but it will be fixed soon. I will update on Sunday. They're drinking really well, about 60L every 2 days for 10 plants. I need to figure out a bigger container to hold enough water for a whole week.

Really hot. Using more water. About 2 gallons a day each pot. Watering daily. Summer peak hits in the next month, then comes the wind down to the season...from September to Croptober. I don't see as much stretching as I see buds coming in right now, which is really exciting. Wind: I usually experience strong winds for the end of August and start of September. This means that I am taking the canopy down and letting the sun hit the plants with all its force for the remainder of the season. More water means fatter nugs. Nutrients: Day 105 - 21 August 2024 - Added 1 cup Bud Candy and 1/2 cup Overdrive from AN, then added 2 gallons of water in a large watering can. I let that sit for 2-3 hours, then I add it equally to the four pots. I'm alternating this and kelp meal biweekly from Down to Earth (every 2 weeks). This recipe is gentle and it works for me. Thank you to all following the grow. Straight up... each plant looks a little different - my guess it's because of all the crosses behind the genetics. Basically looks a little Malawi, a little tropicanny, a little cookie, and sour orangey for sure. I don't care for a stable line where all the plants look homogenous (basically the same, I may have messed up the description) - I just want something that will have a good end product and these plants all look fine to me. Now I just have to be vigilant so that the caterpillars don't destroy all the flowers. It's a bit nerve wrecking, but I'm committed to not using pesticides or insecticides - organic or not. I'm also considering washing the herb at harvest--that's got me a little nervous also because it gets really humid around harvest time, but all the testimonials and videos I've researched all seem to agree that it does not affect the end quality in terms of effect since THC is basically water resistant, not water soluble or something--i'm thinking water hash in my head to comprehend the science a little better. Impressionante la velocità di fioritura delle dutchfem autofiorenti! Sono nel periodo di fioritura inoltrata e si stanno riempiendo tutte di infiorescenze dure, appiccicose e molto resinose e profumate, in giardino sembra di essere in un negozio di frutta fresca! Sfiorano il metro e cinquanta centimetri di altezza alcune e la maggior parte sembrano XL perché le lunghe diramazioni si stanno riempiendo tutte in ogni parte delle piante. Purtroppo il clima al centro Italia è un po' sfasato e ogni giorno alterna caldo umido forte con pioggie fresche brevi e poi ritorna il sole. Gli afidi stanno provando con tutte le loro forze a superare la protezione dell'olio di piretro, sono sotto le foglie gli afidi ma non stanno minimamente indebolendo il vigore delle piante anzi sembrano fiorire più aggressive e la resina inizia ad incollare ogni insetto parassita che sta tentando di attaccare le mie piante. Biologicamente queste varietà sono impeccabili e si adattano ai cambiamenti climatici e ai nuovi insetti parassiti resistono. Qualche lepidottero ha iniziato a mangiare qualche foglia ed infiorescenze ma non è un problema perché manualmente ogni giorno dedico un ora a rimuovere i bruchi. Day 65 in Flowering: Almost Harvest Time Yo Farmers, Today marks day 65 in the flowering stage, which is right at the 9-week mark. I started the flush on day 55 and was aiming to harvest around now. However, I'm going to give her another day or two to see if the rest of the pistils turn brown. She smells incredible and looks frosty, throughout the flush I’ve managed to get the PPMS down to 40ppm (hannah), She’s also showing some nice fall colors, indicating the breakdown of nutrients, salts, and excess chlorophyll Overall, I’m pleased with my first attempt at growing this plant. The girls are doing great! They are getting bushier by the day, I don’t want to stress her much by defoliation so I’m doing a good amount of leaf tucking and only removing lower yellowing leaves that were ready to fall off on their own. The medium from Miller’s Soils has been extremely well balanced throughout the grow. I only dealt with a small amount of nute burn in the beginning but they quickly used those preloaded nutrients to their advantage. They responded well to their Bloom feeding so I will continue to up the dosage as time goes on. So far she isn’t showing any signs of deficiencies or excesses in nutes so I’m treading lightly with the feed schedule.

Another week growing strong! Took advantage of the last summer days here in the island to get her some real sunlight, which I can tell she loved by the boosted growth. Nothing like the real thing ☀️

Another good week!! I defoliated the smaller of the 2 plants mid-week... I think she is doing very fine. A small hiccup with the feed that same night. Only a few leaves are showing any sign on nutrient burn. I went ahead and fed them again today. I plan on watering them in a day or two... they were very thirsty this afternoon!! So, I definitely need to up the watering. I've still been feeding 3 quarts twice a week. Otherwise, all seems to be going well!! They are frosting up very nicely!! So exciting!! Peace!!
