The stretch continues! She is tall and lanky with some pretty flowers. I have concerns she will outgrow my light at this rate but so far another really easy grow.

This week, I'm going to keep closer tabs on daily activities. All plants are showing signs of deficiencies. Monday 1/18 - "Flushed" all plants with Clearex. I did about 2.5 gallons per plant and I normally water about 1. I think in general, I'm going to up my watering from here on out if they survive. Tues 1/19 - No watering. Still got a good bit of moisture in the pots. All three plants look a bit healthier. Wed 1/20 - All plants healed by Biden lol. Just in case that fails, I top amended with FFOF mixed with like 2 tbs of Dr Earth, spread across soil for all 3 pots. I watered 3, 3gallon plants with 5 gallons total. Apx 1.5 gallons per plant and they all ran off. Plants looking healthier than they did pre-flush, but I think i'll need to go ahead feed the full amount of Dr Earth at the start of week 9. Thurs 1/21 - Plants are looking pretty good. Critical Kush leaves are turning a bit purple, could be phosphorus def. Friday 1/22 - Normally I would have watered, but the top 2 inches felt damp and the moisture meter shows 2-3 towards the bottom. Gonna give it another day Sat 1/23 - Feed and watering time! I went ahead and did 4 Tablespoons of Dr Earth Life in each 3 gallon pot. The most I've fed to date. This week seems to have been recovering fairly well. Check out the video for a decent tour. In the video I said I fed 4 teaspoons, but it was tablespoons. 😵

There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I wouldn't make it any other way :) If even ONE of you reading this diary finds it helpful to reference for ANYTHING.....even if its "what not to do" ill consider it a success ! Day 118 Another check fan alert. Exhaust stopped working. We’re now back in action. Hoping this one will hold out for another week until harvest! Next batch of seeds have been put into Jiffy pellets. Will update on the plant I moved outdoors right before I put them into flower. It looks incredible! Day 119 Trichomes are still glass-like. Some are beginning to cloud, but it looks like probably another week or so to go. Day 121 Turning the humidity down to try and simulate fall weather. Try and get these plants to flower a bit quicker before the get nanners Day 124 Just starting to get some amber trichomes! Ready for harvest. Putting it into a 2 day flush and then she’s getting cut down!

Sie hat für ihre Verhältnisse viel Wasser bekommen in der vergangenen Woche und der schwarze Topf wurde sehr heiß (weiße wären in dieser Jahreszeit besser) Ich meine auch ein paar Samen entdecken zu können, wahrscheinlich Überbleibsel einer männlichen Seven Freeze Bestäubung. Muss mich noch entscheiden; ausreifen lassen der Samen oder ernten? 🤔 Die Blütenkolben scheinen weiter wachsen zu wollen. La plus petite des 3 plantes fait 15 cm de haut. Les 2 autres font 29 cm et développent plusieurs têtes. Pour l'instant tout va bien. À bientôt 👋

So i both some Autopots and decided to give them a try with autoflowers, this will be my second time ever growing autos and i decided to go with 4 different ones from 4 different seed banks. For now i have 3 seeds that pop out and one that didn't so i pop another from the same and again, have a third one as we speak popping , lets hope this time she does other way that seedbank becomes a no go for me. i harvested the top part of my grapefruit plant as i checked the trychones and they were 20% amber the lower half had mostly cloudy but no amber ro im going to give it a last feed then flush in about 5 days for 7 days should bd ok then .. Ive raised thr grapefruit off the ground to stop fluids mixing between them as one gonna have a few more feeds where the other is on flush My other plant the bushy banana blaze is foing ok had a good 2-3 weeks i rekkon till i even think about harvest

Day 96, 15th of December 2020: Wao and wao... this is what I can say. A bit late I was on holiday I usually start the week with the first day but now with the last one. So let's start with the "black sheep" of this group as she is alone here RQS Wedding Gelato. Easy growing issue free little bushy lady. Absolutely great choice of grow. Pretty much ready for Christmas but she can be cut even now lol.... And now let's speak about the Original Sensible Seeds' girls... Well Black Ghost OG similarly to RQS Wedding Gelato is calm little bushy and issue free lady.... no problem all good ready for Christmas.... Runtz Gum the thick chick with heavy big buds and excellent appearance is really amazing. I placed a stick there and fixed her to look better... It was not necessarily but i have done it. She needs more time pretty much done ny Christmas or a bit after.... Gelato from Original Sensible Seeds is similar in terms of acting such as streching and all that ... The same situation applies not much to really say we wait ;) I am really happy to have these ladies.... Well, Do-Si-Dos OG is the craziest one ever... lol.... not only due her crazy kind of streching style but the trichome developement that comes along to the fan leaf "holder" stem is pretty crazy.... Those buds are like a diamonds sticky and she would be ready to harvest but need to wait because I need to go.... I really had to fix her by placing a stick there I broke one stem but fixed as it did not come off... so crazy especially now because of the weight of the buds... now she looks even more beautiful... I think she is the most challenging grow ever. Original Sensible Seeds genetics is unique really high quality just look at them. Royal Queen Seeds as well but this is my second grow from them my first was a Green Gelato which is the same calm littlw bushy plant. Amazing very good for newbies ;) I am going on holiday again and back on 28th of December so after harvest starts. Girls will be cut after. The 7th weeks starts with tomorrow 16th of December.... Only flushing and no more nutritient will be used. Soon full report comes. Lamp is the same 11 hours on and 13 off.... The last 4 days they will get 4 days darkness and only ventilation will be working no even more water ;)

Another one down, now the tent can flourish. Already going into third week on the next flower cycle. Going to try a dry trim on this one. So far I've been doing wet trims, but I have more space this dry cycle. I've had chocolope a few times before, a few different phenotype expressions from the original seeds. I'll be curious to see if this is just like those previous chocs or if I will be able to pick out notes of whatever it crossed with. It definitely grew like chocolope I've grown in the past, very stretchy, long stretch time, genetically foxtailly. It got pretty warm here and we're letting the house breathe, so the tent is actually warmer during lights out daytime, than it is during lights out night. I like it, seems to make them grow faster and could potentially shorten flower time.

Ich habe auch sämtliche Düngerpläne verworfen xD Ich pump die einfach voll, weil scheinbar können die das vertragen. Ich habe schon bei Bekannten immer wieder Methoden wie Crop-Steering gesehen, lässt sich auf Soil natürlich schwer umsetzen aber ich kann zumindest das Intervall anpassen. Statt alle 7 Tage, gibt es jetzt alle 3 Tage, weil die in den Airpots auch einfach so gierig werden hehe 🤤😌

So It's week 7 of flowering for my Supafreak Girl and let me tell you, she's looking absolutely stunning! I can't help but feel proud and excited every time I check up on her progress. It's been a bit of a wild ride getting here, but it's all been worth it. The Supafreak strain definitely lives up to its name - this plant is a freak of nature in the best way possible. As we are in the maintenance phase, I'm just admiring her beauty and keeping an eye on those trichomes. It's amazing how much can change in just a day or two. I find myself constantly checking in on her, like a proud parent checking in on their child. I don't know about you, but I can't help but make jokes about how great these plants look. I mean, have you ever seen anything so green (now changing) and luscious? It's like they were born to be in a Pantene commercial. All in all, I'm just grateful to be on this journey with my Supafreak Girl. It's been a fun and rewarding experience, and I can't wait to see what the next few weeks bring. How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. This is true of seed starts or clones made from seed starts. The opposite is not always true; indoor clones often give an outdoor grower headaches because they don't always make the transition smoothly. This is due to light spectrum, temperature, and/or photoperiod changes. Yes, Freakshow will do exceedingly well indoors, and will thrive and mature just fine in a wide variety of natural environments as well, so it's definitely both and I think might even prove to be more resilient to those sorts of transitions. Q. What are the potency and terpenoid levels? A. Average 18-20% THCa, THC; negligible CBD, CBN with terps variable, averaging 2.5-3.5, primarily limonene and pinene, but this is variable, there was a lot of diversity in terp combinations and compositions in all the prior generations, it's just something that was left "as is" for now. The different parallel lines that we are developing can be directed in a few different pathways flavorwise. Q. Why are the seeds white? A. Why is the sky blue? No, the mature seeds are shrouded by a rice paper thin membrane which has coloring and mottling on it, but it's so fragile that it disintegrates in the process of shucking. Stripped of the outer layer the seeds are very pale, nearly white. It came as no surprise that this plant would have abnormal seeds. Q. Is it a GMO? A. Wow...? Well, it's seriously "modified" and the modifications are definitely genetic, and it is an organism. (Genuinely Modified Organically!) Uh, no. No radiation, no recombinant DNA, no gene splicing or editing, no TALEN or CRISPR! These biotechnologies don't belong in the food and medicine plant industries. Sadly, in the near future it will become commonplace and widespread in cannabis and other medicinal plants as it is already is with food crops and ornamentals. I'll avoid discussion on this topic for now, but we hope some people enjoy consuming Frankenbud! Q. What's the floral period length? A. 8-9 wks, finishes early Oct. at most latitudes and elevations. Q. Is it a big producer? A. Freakshow will produce nice, fat, dense colas (see gallery) with remarkable trichome coverage, and you can expect yields according to your veg. time, root space, and general knowledge and expertise as a gardener. The same set of variables apply to expected outcomes regarding cannabinoid levels and terpene profiles. Q.What is the lineage? A. (Bigbud x Skunk#1) x (Big Sur Holy Weed x Banana Kush). NLD("Sativa") dominant, but the afghanica influence is apparent. I'm pretty sure that Freakshow contains some Trainwreck and some Maui Wowie based on some research I did on the origins of the Pineapple Express. Interestingly Big Sur Holyweed, OG Kush, Banana, Trainwreck, and Maui Wowie are all of unclear origins. We have to remember that these are all just names and that they don't really mean much. The exact heritage of any cultivar today is impossible to determine accurately. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. Couch unlock. Q. Is it pest and mildew resistant? A. Indeed it is. On many occasions in the last few years, it has been observed that when pest and mildew issues were affecting other plants adjacent to in the vicinity of Freakshow plants, for unknown reasons the freaks remained entirely unaffected. This includes 0botritis, PM, various mites and insects, soil fungus, etc. We haven't heard any complaints along those lines so far, so if anyone has any problems, especially with a rigorous IPM regimen in place, we would like to hear about it. And if anyone can attest to the extreme level of resistance it seems to have we'd love to hear about that as well. Q. Does it contain web-leaf genetics? A. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. 🌱 Absolutely fantastic week! The stretch really hit during this week with a height increase of 22 cm. She is drinking a lot (~1,5L per day) and is giving hints of first bud development. I didn't do any lollipopping or removing of lower branches yet, because i am waiting for the end of her stretch, to hopefully give her one perfect treatment while letting her decide on the basic structure. There was also no defoliation to increase light on lower branches to create bigger hight differential between main and side branches to achieve bigger buds. My canopys usually end up quite uniform which might be better for yield, but i much prefer bigger buds. Day 37 💧 Watered with 2,5 L at 1050 ppm. Day 41 💧 She got another 3 L at 1200 ppm. Different ppm is mostly caused by added silicate, which i dont measure exactly and sometimes leave out completely.

Muay Thai has multiple personalities. Plant developments stages are all over the map. From late stage flower in the main column to newly vegging top. Other places, there are flowers in various stages. These pics are from the same plant on taken a few seconds apart. LOL On the late stage flowers, I don't think they can develop in a better quality. Muay Thai is spending energy in earnest growing. So, I am removing late flowers to reduce risk of rots and mold. Checked out @Philindicus Lemon AK diary (week 10). I am following his method and take these trims to make super charged Everclear infusion. Last week, I was feeding both the terpenes nutes and vegging grow nutes. Temperature is back to normal hot with humid air. Humidity and VPD: Hottest part of the day during the week; 34 degree C, Humidity 64%, VPD 1.9 Coolest part of the night during the week; 24 degree C, Humidity 73%, VPD 0.8 Feeding strategy – I am supporting my girl mid-life crisis. I feed her both terpene raising yoghurt. Also add more grow nutes for her. This is pellets earth worm casting and sugar refinery sludge. Feeding Summary Monday evening – Compost tea ( 1.5 ml / liter compost tea + 1.5 ml/liter humic acid). Tuesday evening – Yoghurt ratio ( 1 liter yoghurt to 5 liter of water) Wednesday evening – Molasses ( 2.5 ml / liter). Thursday – sprayed anti-insect microbe Beauvaria bassiana. Friday evening. 1.5 ml/liter humic, 1.5 ml/liter compost tea. Friday evening. Add 200 grams of Earth Worm Casting and another 200 grams of sugar refinery sludge as top soil dressing, to 25 liter basket.
