Day 34 this lady is running, I can see flowers getting bigger every day, smell started really really soon this time so I already had to add the Carbon Filter. I’d like to close the cycle in less then 80 days. 10/03 - La semilla de estuvo hidratando por 24hs en agua. 11/03 - La semilla se encuentra germinando en papel húmedo. 14/03 - Germino y aprox la raíz media 3cm. Fue directo a un vaso de plástico chico con sustrato. 18/03 - Brotó. Desde su germinación hasta ahora pasaron 17 días en total. Por el momento viene bien, ya en su segunda semana de vida comencé a regar poco con los fertilizantes. Solo agregue 0.5ml por 1L de agua. No agregue toda la mezcla a la planta.

Day 52-64 (Day 54) I’m going to thoroughly inspect each plant and remove bananas if found. So far it’s only been the one on #7 but I don’t want to take a chance. I’m also going to give a watering with some runoff. (Day 55) Can’t find anymore bananas but that one. I will probably find a few bag seeds but who knows. It’s way too late for pollen to really have effect anyway. These 5 plants finish nice and early compared to my other tent flipped on the same day. I would never take this strain 65+ days like last time. I would do 56-60 days next time I flower this strain (Day 58) Holy shit this tent is fading like crazy now. They are starting to show some beautiful autumn colors. #1 #5 and #7 are definitely done. #3 and #6 could use a little more time so I’ve decided to take them down on the 24th. I haven’t seen anymore bananas and the one that popped out on #7 has shriveled up and receded. (Day 63) I’m seeing what look like seed pods starting to form in some of the main colas on my picture perfect pheno. #7 is showing 3 or 4 little bananas too. All of the top buds are definitely done so I’m going to harvest as soon as the lights come on tomorrow. I’m going to give one last watering right now and then harvest. I’ve noticed that harvesting a watered plant will extend the dry time by a few days and that’s exactly what I’m looking for. A nice slow dry. Plants are being full plant hung + dry trimmed and tent is being kept at 60-65 degrees and 60-65% RH. Cutting everything down was a pain in the ass. I had to individually cut each square the scrog net so it wouldn’t contract and squish all the buds. I chopped down my other tent as well so I have no other plants in flower right now.

The ladies are still doing great and stacking very nicely! The trichomes on both pheno’s are insane, super dense buds too. The leaves do look very very dark green with slight tip burns, so I dosed down the nutrients slightly from 1100+ to 950 ppm. The grow light makes the leaves look more light green than they actually are (check the night shots). Both plant smell super super sweet, not really blueberry (yet) though.

This week I switched up the lights. I had been using 6500k T5 bulbs that a friend gave me for free. I planned on changing two of the bulbs to 3500k when she went into flower but I could not find the right length in the 3500k. I decided to purchase a Parfactworks led. I installed the light on day 32 and transitioned her to the new spectrum. She is LOVING it! :D

Hello! What's up? Today was the last day, we ended week 13 with success! Barely gave them any water, try to keep it to a minimum so they dry 'faster'. Super happy with this strain, beautiful buds, smell, sticky af and quite dense too. Was watching them day and night, every day to make sure I'd cut them in the right day. Having a microscope is really handy for this point, allowing to harvest in the desired state. Now I'll prepare the room for harvest, remove the reflector, bulbs, etc, and flip the box to a 'drying station'. They look ready to go for me, and after the pictures I chopped them down, and have around 2kg before trimming. That's the most I ever got out of a grow at once. Super amazed. Thank you very much @weedseedsexpress for being part of the contest, was really fun and a pleasure to grow such strong strain!

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. 1st try at LST I ripped a huge fan leaf off. 2nd try I think I got it right. Other than that I just check water levels, PPM and pH, then adjust as needed. These girls are a little short and bushy...pause....so I backed the light off a bit and noticed them climbing. I also messed up and bought a wave maker to move water but didn't realize it'd rip my roots. This didn't matter because the roots 50x growth within a day or two. During mid week 3 I upgraded the air pump and air stones after failing with the wave maker. I upgrade to a 2"x4" air stone and a nice 20w 475gph air pump. I believe this helped with growth tremendously because the girls are taking off 🚀 Also, water change! With the water change I bumped the PPM up, plants haven't responded negatively but I think I will back it down to about 700-750 since they seem to be taking in more water (pH rising, PPM rising).

first time I grew Dutch passion, and it was orange bud auto. I love Sativa dominant strains, and this strain is now on my favorite list. First on my list is Amnezia haze auto, which is 70% Sativa dominant seedstockers and fastbud seeds. I love it. The second is chocolope DNA genetics feminized; this strain is really heavy and many thc. Three is orange bud auto from Dutch Passion, really nice buds, many thc, and long-lasting sativa effect. This strain really tells you that you are really high.
