Week 4 Flower – Supercrop Week: Taming the Moon-Shooter Both Sundae Driver girls are thriving, stacking bud sites and frosting up fast. Pheno #2 tried to aim for the moon, so this week I performed a supercrop to keep the canopy even and unlock more lateral sites. She bounced back within days and is already curving up; new sites are catching light beautifully. I also did a light, targeted defoliation to open airflow, nothing heavy. Feed & Mix (this week) Testing a hybrid Aptus + Plagron approach at low solution EC to complement the rich, pre-amended soil. • Plagron Power Buds – 1 ml/L • Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml/L • Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml/L • Aptus CalMag Boost – light dose, just to keep LED demand covered Why low feed? The living/“easy” soil we built is still hot and active (medium EC ~2.96 mS/cm), so I’m keeping the solution EC ~0.4–0.5 mS/cm with pH ~6.1. That lets the soil do most of the work while I steer with gentle inputs and avoid salt stacking or tip burn. ⸻ Deep Dive: Supercropping (What, Why, When, How) What it is Supercropping is a high-control, high-reward training move: you soften (pinch) the inner stem tissues and bend the stem over without tearing the skin. Step-by-step 1. Hydrate first: Slightly hydrated plants bend better than very dry ones. 2. Choose the internode you want to lower (usually the tall outlier). 3. Pinch and roll the stem gently between thumb and forefinger for 5–10 seconds to soften the pith. 4. Bend to ~45–90° toward an open space in the canopy. 5. This week I added a new controller to handle up to 8 functions. I installed a new heater, my old humidifier and some LED strips to the controller. Targeting a VPD at 1.0 day and night. Trying to keep the nutrient ppm under 900 and ph at 6.0 in the reservoirs. Ordered a second ph pen because I don’t trust my readings. Will be here by Thursday. Friday: Checked the ppm in the reservoirs and it’s at 1,000. Added more RO water with extra nitrogen to bring the ppm level down to 925. Saturday: I installed an updated AC Infinity controller 69 Pro Plus (controls 8 pieces of equipment) which allowed me to add a humidifier, corner LEDs and a heater to the controller. Overall I’m extremely impressed with this AC Infinity equipment. My VPD is within the range I want to achieve (.8-1.1). I programmed it to maintain 78 degrees and 67% humidity during the day, 73 degrees and 63% humidity at night. Charts posted also show the impact of an open tent compared to the closed environment. The heater is constantly pushing fresh air into the tent, so I don’t need to cycle the exhaust fan often. Rewired the tent again and moved the controller later that night. I mounted the controller on the wall. Added Mars Hydro UV/IR lighting to fill out all 8 slots on the controller. Sunday: I checked the ph in the reservoirs (6.8….i had filled it with 6.0 ph) and the ppm (1200 ppm…I had filled it with 900). So evaporation and possibly a mismeasurement of ph. I topped ff reservoirs with slightly stronger nutes and adjusted ph to 5.8 in the reservoirs. Poor magnesium absorption could be driving some leaf yellowing. Effective tomorrow, I’m switching over to Heads Formula which consistently feeds GH Flora series nutes at Micro (6ml/g), Bloom (9ml/g) and cal mag (3ml/g). Turned on the UV/IR lights for 3 minutes every 8 hours. I’m easing the plants up to 5 minutes every 6 hours which will provide the recommended 20 minutes of IR per day. This will help the plants stretch a little more. Monday: checked ph and ppm in reservoirs. 6.1ph and 880ppm. VPD remains stable except when I open the tent. Tuesday: checked ph (6.4) and ppm (880) in reservoirs. Added .5ml of ph down to two reservoirs. Still see slight yellowing between the veins but it’s not getting worse (might be improving). Adjusting ph down to 6.0 target might have solved this. The plants grew by 1-2” last night…..is the infrared light working already? Decided to mix up fresh nutes for the reservoirs following Heads formula. 6ml Micro and 9ml Bloom per gallon of RO water. Added 5 ml of CalMag too. Ending ppm was 1080 which is too high, so I diluted down to 880 with RO water. 6.0 ph. Wednesday: plants grew another .75 inches last night. I topped above the 5th node. Thursday: added RO water with heavy cal mag to reservoirs to increase amount of CalMag available.

LST'd all of my plants this week. The growth is getting quite amazing! I also trimmed a lot of fan leaves to give the lower growth more light. I'm not really concerned about extending the timeline as I'm going more for quantity more than speed. In total the LST, Trimming and watering took about an hour each, I really enjoyed it though. The third plant that dried out last week seems to have bounced back quickly. I trimmed the leaves that were dried out since they were only going to be a drain.

I flipped them to flower this week, finally. They are way behind schedule because I didn't have enough space to keep them on their own 12/12 light schedule so they had to stay on 18/6 along with the other plants in the same grow space. They've gotten much bigger than I wanted them to due to that. But I'm hoping if I do the female forced pollen process correctly that'll hopefully mean more seeds to share 😁. I've been spraying the chosen males with colloidal silver for 3 days now. I take them outside to spray them & then let them fully dry before bringing them back in with the girls. Just a safety measure incase I mess up the forced female pollen process I'll still have good & untainted flower to use from the girls.

Se instaló malla scrog, first time. Se riega foliar con delta 9. Entrando a floracion. Se accidentó una glueberry que mantenia un alambre en su tallo, el sustrato se seco demasiado y el tallo cedió. Quedaron buenos brazos restante por lo tanto será interesante ver el desarrolla de esa planta versus sus hermanas. Primera semana de LSD-25

Hey gents! She is growing so well... Glad I started this hobby. Buds are filling out. I see many pistons turning brown. Maturity wise I think Im halfway done with flowering. My guess would be that 4 more weeks and this will be ready. Minor defoliation was done. (fan leaves that were shading bud sites). 90% of the community would have just trimmed the bud sites in the lower part of the canopy but I didn't wanna touch the plant more and just allow her to do her own thing. Well the stretch well and truly came! She is humming along now without me having to alter conditions too much thanks to the lovely local spring weather, The flowering sites have popped up in abundance and the simple LST I was experimenting with, Has certainly given the plant a nice even canopy! Should start seeing some real nice progress happen over the next week or two 🤙 🍃 Happy Growing 🍃

week intel: we reached the peak of flowering stage and need to cause a little more e.c stress from this week so e.c stress is twice a week i reduced the amount of Nitrogen and calcium and stopped feeding silicate in other hand i raised the amount of base nutrient and booster short story version: more K & P - less N stresses : a little E.C stress around 1 and 1.2 twice a week from this week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them high with base nutrients(calcium & micros (half dose) + Bloom) about 566 ppm - 1.1 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 392 ppm - 0.7 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them high dose of Feeding Booster around 630 ppm - 1.2 e.c to cause e.c stress again guide of the week : e.c stress if done correctly is one of the very few ways to increase quality in all aspects ( color , aroma , taste , bud structure , resin contents ) but if you over do it , listen carefully brother : it can reduce quality in every aspect so always look for signs and never reach the red line

Well going good so far. Kinda thought I had zinc lockout due to adding too much ph down (phosphorous) to the res rising every other day to 6.5ish. I have a bubbler and a water pump running in there. Gave them a flush of 2l each PhD water with calmag. Looking a bit better hopefully fixes soon

Girls have exploded into flower! They had a big stretch and have started stacking very nicely. Flower came so fast, they are showing a slight phosphorus need, and perhaps a bit more cal/Mag to help with uptake and such. I’ve been introducing the Clyde nutrients slowly to try and avoid burn, but I clearly need a bit more. I am liking the results overall though. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨
