This week I top dressed, as it had been about a month since the last one. 7.7.25: 💚 2 Cups Worm Castings 💚 1 Cup Canna Coco 💚 1 Cup Perlite *I use this as my base for the top dressing, adding the dry amendments to this so as not to burn the plants, by evenly distributing a slower release feed. Thanks to the Worm Castings. Dry Amendments 🧡 1 TBS Ecothrive Charge 🧡 1 TBS Ecothrive Life Cycle 🧡 1 TBS Ground Cinnamon I watered this in with 2ltrs PH'd to 6.4 containing the following nutrients; 💜 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys 💜 3ml Ecothrive Trace PH: 6.4 PPM: 377. She has a very short bushy structure to her, and we aren't gaining much height yet. I haven't had a plant like this before, so we'll see what happens. On the next day, 8.7.25, I topped the plant. Tiene alguna decoloración en las hojas superiores debido a la proximidad de la lámpara, se ha solucionado incrementando la distancia entre el foco y la planta. Creo que le quedan unas dos semanas por estirar, parece que va a ser una buena cosecha. Se mantiene un buen control del cuarto de cultivo gracias a @marshydro y @trolmaster. Mantengo las dosis de 1/3 de nutrientes recomendados por el fabricante. Potencia del foco 80%

Weekly update for these lovely ladies. They've grown and grown since the last update so much I had to raise the greenhouse. Cinder blocks under the frame gave me an extra 16in. They're growing probably a foot of week and still reaching for the stars. I did switch to Athena's Bloom A & B and P&K booster this week giving 5-10ml per gallon. I really couldn't be happier with how they've grown up to this point. All in all Happy Growing.

Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! These Runtz girls are showing their potential, and we’re dialing in every little detail to ensure they thrive. Let’s dive deep into everything that happened this week! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Motherplant of this clone didn't give same buds as a clone. Shame I don't have mother plants anymore. I would recommend Durban Poison for everyone, I guess more people should feel this strain. This is my favourite sativa from 2019!

I have applied a little defoliation on this lady, I decided to remove the biggest leafs and see how she does, tomorrow she's gonna be flipped into flower finally on February 15th I cannot wait to see how this plant performs, hope a nice stretch on the transition before flower! Done with week 10 and I actually thought that I will be able to send her into darkness for some days today before harvest. But despite very thick buds she still has no amber trichomes yet. I’m gonna give her three more days with light followed by three days of darkness. After that I have to harvest her because I’m going on a trip for some days. Fingers crossed for this beauty! I’m very excited what the scale will say in the end because those buds look heavy…

1/26: Honestly, this plant is just living it's best life outside of the tent. She's proving to be resilient. Unsure what's happening with the leaves...I'll be doing some research on that. Watered with pH balanced water, but will be considering nutrients, pending the aforementioned research. 1/29: Vegetative growth is exploding! So far she's been an absolute joy to grow. I do believe that I'm seeing some signs of pre-flowering, which is super exciting! Gave her a solid watering/light nutritients and moved her back into the tent for a more favorable light situation. She requires significant leaf tucking...some of the fan leaves are gigantic and they're blocking a lot of the lower potential lower bud sites. Looking forward to what's to come!
