So as you can see my girls suffered a bit in week 3 but are on the mend. I've continued to LST them tying down the new growth sites and either tucking or removing the fan leaves to allow light to penetrate to the new growth sites I'm going to veg for 2/3 more weeks then flip them Just did a complete water change and stripped down the whole system to clean the water pipes air pipes and air stones. After visiting my local hydroponics shop they recommended a organic ph up and down which I thought sounded good less chemicals in my grow what's not to like about that. However once I had used them I quickly realised they had issues I was constantly checking and adjusting my ph levels as they would drop to 5.3 and over the course of a few hours would rise to 7.4 upon checking my water pump I found my filters where completely blocked so I flushed them and put them back in and it seemed to work fine until the next day when I checked again and yet again they where blocked. I think they had reacted with my other nutrients and caused a brown funky sludge. I have scrubbed each bucket and reservoir to get rid of the gunk then used disinfect on all the equipment and the grow room. ***** Week 6 December 23 to 29, 2020 - Days 36 to 42 from germination ***** Week 5 was certainly a stretch week and she grew tall baby👊👍 She has been doing well with her crack on the main stem from early on and when I pulled her out you could hardly tell where it was. Perfect......because she has been growing hard she is getting a little uneven in her canopy but I have been watching how hard I pull on her main stem. Correcting the situation as best I can now but with only in 3 gal pots its tough to get out further on her long branches and tie them down. Could get creative with Bamboo and creating ties but those suckers are eye pokers and I don't use them too often. Will just deal with the potential difference in height and keep pulling her harder now that I can. Silica increasing this week as well now that we close to the end of being able to shape her lower branches. She needs the strength now to defend any potential pests and to growth thick stocks so she can support the bud weight. Since she has been going hard it was time to pull her out and start trimming some lower branches now. Yes she is an auto and many say to never remove leaves, never mind branches, but I do and want to allow her to focus on top buds. I will accept a potential decrease in yield but since I am already performing LST and working with more than one top.....a gain in one area can be offset in another without too much pain😜👍 Stripped quite a few leaves from this girl. She is thick at the bottom and in the last week her node spacing has gone crazy on the 8 main branches😲 I will trim the bottom as it just doesn't get the light intensity down below......even with opening the canopy up lots those sites are still 12" to 18" lower than the tops at this point. Her side branching is really thick and looking awesome. She is showing signs of wanting to grow some big buds😀 She will be able to support the weight at least.........really nice selection Fast Buds!!!!!!! Little more detail........ Dec 23/20, Day 36 - Feeding day today. Continuing with first weeks flower feed of 2ml/L. - 2L feed with Micro, Bloom, Magnifical, AstroFlower, VeloKelp, Natures Candy @ 2ml = 800ppm and 5.8pH. - add microbes again on the next feeding!!!! Dec 24/20, Day 37 - She was given 1L of feed left from yesterday (both her and Orange Sherbet.......J47 is on a two day dry.) - Her color is good but still quite yellow in the new growth points. - pull out tomorrow and clean up lower growth and check runoff numbers. Dec 25/20, Day 38 - 2L full feed again with the same 2ml/L feed as earlier in the week for all the autos. Added AN Rhinoskin as well for silica. - 1150ppm and 5.9pH going in.........pots were really dry and perfect pretty well. - Runoff was 925ppm and 6.1pH.........I can live with that at week 2 flower😁😁 Dec 26/20, Day 39 - 2L full feed again. Had mixed up 12L yesterday. - Added 2ml/L of Microbial Mass and Piranha = 1200ppm and 5.9pH. - The girls needed their microbe allotment as we get closer to the end. - Bacteria added to help keep some of the nutrients in the media as she finishes. - next watering is more of plain water and add Terpinator. Dec 27/20, Day 40 - pots are light again in the afternoon. - 2L watering with Magnifical, Rezin, and Microbes @ 2ml. Terpinator @ 3ml = 400ppm and 5.8pH - She taking the nutrients but backing off the ppm on this watering a bit. - noticing some clawing in the girl.....start of some excess nitrogen or environmental??? Keeping an eye on it👌 Dec 28/20, Day 41 - the girl is hungry so feeding again today with full nutrients. - 2.5L watering today, stepping up from 2L volume. - Full line of Remo, all 6 parts plus silica again @ 2ml = 1150ppm and 5.9pH Dec 29/20, Day 42 - another feeding in the morning today. Pot was really light. - 2L in the morning giving with same feed of 1150ppm and 5.9pH. - her colour change in the leaves is really popping out now. Bud is all purple but the leaves are turning purple as well. - noticing leaf colour is getting even to the other girls for green. No need to compensate any deficiency anymore......in fact watch over feeding now😀 - in the evening, 12 hours later, pots were pretty light so gave another 1.25L of feed that was left over for 16L mixture yesterday. - she had a total of 3.5L feed today......water tomorrow and not feed. She is doing very well at the start of the week. Canopy height is good but her node spacing has me concerned a bit. Looks like we are going to get some beautiful colours from this girl as her buds are purple already. Leaf colour already has a yellow huge to her........Purple Lemonade baby......on point!!!!.......nice work Fast Buds.......this strain is making a lot of growers go, DAMN she's freaking awesome😁😁😁

4 really health plants, this week time to place them in bigger pots. Update 7-1-23, transplanting the plants from the cups to a bigger cup. I was a few days late because the roots where forming in circles in the cups. Because the stem was not very stiff, i added a little bit ventilation in the tent. See you next week.

End of week 6, came across a bad nute burn in my opinion. The grape pupil looks like it has a cal-mag problem from looking up the damaged burned leaves online. Also still having a height problem but gonna keep pushing forward due to not having nothing to rise my leds.

Day 60F The PM on the cheese has gotten significantly worse in the last few days. I think it may have something to do with the constant humidity spikes every time I water. I haven’t been running my humidifier at all in flower so maybe it’s having trouble keeping the RH up during lights on. Just another reason to follow a daily watering schedule. The cheese and slurricane look fucking disgusting and I’m starting to doubt that a peroxide wash can totally fix it. It worked well for my outdoor crop so it should be fine but this time there is probably 3x the amount. I’ll make sure to really soak the buds and rinse them off good. Bbb#1 is flopping over like crazy from the weight. Too late to stake it up now so hopefully it holds until next week. Starting to foxtail a bit but nothing too bad. It is now 100% done and ready for chop. Bbb#2 is just getting frostier and frostier by the day. The purple fade is really coming along nicely too. Might reveg. It is now 100% done and ready for harvest. Black garlic #1 is finally filling out! I can’t believe it. Never heard of a plant packing weight on like that in week 8. The breeder did mention that it packs on weight later but I’m stunned. Taking her to 9.5 weeks. Black garlic #2 is looking very average. Average color, average size buds, average frost, average smell, probably an average yield. And it’s starting to get a bit of PM. Overall not happy. Will be taking her to 9.5 weeks. Zkittlez #1 has pleasantly surprised me. It was a bushy runt in veg but came through. It’s the third frostiest in the tent, super dense, stacked tight, smells great and looks great. It’s already got a nice amount of amber so it’s 100% ready for chop. Slurricane #4 looks insanely frosty even under all that PM. If I can’t wash it off it’s going in the trash. I want to chop this asap but have to cut everything at once unfortunately. It’s 100% ready for harvest. Badazz OG cheese is looking like a decent yielder but doesn’t have much else going for it. I think it still has some filling out to do. I can’t even smell the final profile change yet. The leaves are rotting off very quickly. Taking her 9.5 weeks. I don’t mind harvesting a bit later rather than early. From my outdoor experience, when a plant is picked early it smells like hay and wet grass clippings until it’s been curing for 3 weeks. When I harvest late or at 30-50% amber trichomes it smells like same scent profile it had when growing. Just my experience. I’ve read that the tobacco industry adds calcium and potassium carbonate to their crops to help promote fire holding capacity and to increase the whiteness of ash. Turns out some of the organic amendments I bought last week contain exactly that. I’m going to give each plant a light top dress to see if the tobacco industry is onto something.

Installed the 3rd trellis net and still didn’t help against the stretch. Was forced to super-crop both plants and they both made a very fast and strong recover. The canopy is now flat and full of flowers. Flowers are starting to get chunky as well.

Water change day .. Drinking. 2000 ml each per day.. So 6 days on the nute change... ******************* 2 Buckets done .. 5 Left . I may leave the caramel cream autos until tomorrow , they are drinking slightly less per day , but the big girls are drinkers for sure .... So getting better at mixing nutes, bought giant bag of disposable droppers, god damn so much easier for me . I have visual impairment, and shaky hands from the brain tumors. The visual impairment is bad, but the shakes come and go . I normally get a few good rips on the Dr Dabber Switch before i start to help. But the mixing went much better . less mess and i simply pitched the pipette after each use . YEs i know wasteful .... but for me , for now its what i have to do. 1 pipette for each nute for each bucket, they are cheap enough. This way not contaminating anything, and at the amount im mixing, 3 mils - 20 mils each . Biggest problem i have, and i guess maybe not a bad problem ... I have 4 girls on one side of the 4x9 tent, and 3 on the other. The four on the one side are all Glue Gelato Autos and my lord I can not get to the back left side bucket at all with the amount of foliage. So moved a bucket to the other side to allow me to drop in a pail to do a siphon out and refill. See pictures... So I am 10000% upgrading to the 13 gallon x 8 fall ponic system after this grow ..... THANK GOD the caramel cream autos are half the size and 1 of the glue gelatos is slightly smaller on the right to allow me to move around the tent slightly, and im a lean dude.... But i am surprised each day when i check the progress just how far they have come for my first try ... Still have low expectationsfor crops and yields , but am loving the time learning and getting to know hydroponics. I TOTALLY get when the OG growers say just listen to them they will tell you what they need, legit all i have done is feed, maintain enviroment and observe. positive i can not make the same moistakes i made so far net time just by learning my lessons and understanding better the purpose for each Nute and how to spot when the plants are asking for them . Let's start the week: Flowering day 49 Both plants were checked for health and the trichomes were checked with a microscope. (70% milky, 20% amber and 10% clear. Flowering day 50 Today both were poured with 1.2 l each, of course now without any sewing material so that she would use the rest until the harvest 👍. Flowering day 51 Today both were checked, the humidifier refilled and fresh osmosis water filled into the tank. Flowering day 52 Both were checked for their health and in the end time for mold, everything looks great 😍👍. Flowering day 53 Again 1.2 l per plant were poured and the trichomes checked, it will run out for about 10 days before it comes to harvest. Flowering day 54 The humidifier was refilled and the tent cleaned. Flowering day 55 Again both were carefully checked, osmosis water was filled in the tank, and everything was cleaned. So here we are Growmies, we arrived at the long-awaited flowering period. Basically this week wasn’t as busy as the previous ones. Watered twice but apart from that there is not much happened. I tucked the longer branches under the net. Light intensity is 75% now. I didn’t even make photos at the beginning of the week. Exciting times are coming so we hope the Sisters keep their good health and happiness.🌱😎🗽

The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing thick and fast, with very short node intervals creating a thick canopy. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 2.5L per day. Lowered the average RH in the space to 50%. ----prior 4 weeks updates ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-06 in flowering stage. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. The Indica dominant strain is really shining with incredible dense growth and thick branches that don't bend as easily as it's Sativa neighbour. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-30 in vegetative stage - switching the light regime to flowering. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period prior to switching light regime - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Maintain lights off from Dec-31, 10:00 until Jan 1 - 18:45 allowing a 32hr darkness period prior to switching the light regime. Light regime is set for 12.5/11.5 on/off allowing me a better maintenance window for my living situation. Both plants are growing fast and strong, showing their genetic traits. Some shoots are going through the net already. Have started to tuck branches as they grow to fill up any gaps. Did minor defoliation on both plants near their stem base and centres. Some green algae on roots/coco medium on the surface of the pot. Have defoliated some more which hopefully helps with air circulation at the area. Will monitor over the week - may need to decrease watering frequency, although they seem to be keeping up drinking. Lowered the High Humidity setting of the extraction fan to 60% - which effectively keeps it running at least 75% of the time, and removed the humidifier. Will monitor and adjust as necessary lowering the setting to 50% in a few weeks whilst flowering. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net - Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle. One more week of vegetative growth before switching to flowering although I may need to switch earlier due to the vigorous growth and considering the stretch yet to come. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My grow setup includes; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom. Passive intake of air is from a closed off section of the room where the central heating boiler sits - the intake is warm air (20 degC.) and fairly dry (40% RH) during the winter months. - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 - ventilation fans - aquarium heater - small oil heater - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots and 3.5L general pots for seedling stage - Canna Coco substrate and nutrients - pH and EC/TDS meters - Thermo/Hygro meter

Day 15-Day 21 Day 21: I am ready to cut this down and start over with some plants I have in veg. The video is of today and I think the buds being nonexistent at day 21 of 8-10 week strains is a bad sign and shouldnt waste my time and money trying to nurse it into something. I have 2-4 20” plants taken for clone practice from these plants. I could easily have a 10-12 plant sog. If you’re reading this please weigh in honestly if you think this is a waste of time to finish flowering. It’s incredibly discouraging to not have a clue what is wrong, but by this time there should be more than what there is. I have the light at 50%, at about 42” above the canopy. All I know is I’m 10/10 pissed off. I also gave a Pk booster at one pinch per gallon

Chopped the big tooth since she was flushed earlier due to issues. Also have the purple gorilla auto chopped and drying. Still flushing strawberry eclair and critical jack to come down next.

Another week down and things just keep getting better and better with this one. Big fat buds laced in resin and the smell is soooo good and strong! Very strawberry-like with a ton of gas that my carbon filter is doing a poor job of covering up. Oh well, smells good. :) I will start flushing about mid way through its growing week and then chop shortly after. It’s getting so close to finished I’m just waiting for more amber. I’m mostly cloudy right now.
