🌸 Week 7 Flower – The Calm Before the Harvest And here we are — week seven of flower, and what a journey it has been. From the very first drops of water on tiny seeds to these full, mature blossoms now bowing under their own weight — the Gelonade girls have written their own story in green and gold. Both phenos, #1 and #2, are stunning. Pheno #2, the unicorn with her foxtailing beauty, continues to fascinate — those whimsical towers of calyxes spiraling like dreams reaching for the light. Pheno #1, elegant and balanced, stands beside her sister with a classic structure, both radiating health and character. Together they show us two faces of the same soul — different yet equally divine. 💧 Now It’s Just Water This week, the feeding bottles rest. No more nutrients, no boosters, no extras — just pure water. This is the flush, the gentle cleansing before harvest. By giving only water, we let the plants draw on their reserves, enhancing smoothness, flavor, and the purity of the final smoke. It’s a closing ritual — a moment of reflection and respect for everything these plants have given. 🌱 Quick Recap – From Seed to This Moment • Germination began with The Cannakan method — simple, precise, full of hope. • Vegetative growth brought vigor, beautiful branching, and the discovery of the now-legendary funky leaf mutation. • Transplant into the 11L Amnesia fabric pots gave them the space to breathe and thrive. • Flowering came like a symphony — weeks of stretch, light, and color; a perfect balance of Aptus and Plagron nutrition; canopy lights dancing from above and below. • Foxtailing appeared on Pheno #2, transforming her into a work of art, a living sculpture of what happens when genetics, environment, and light decide to play together. Now, the flowers are glistening — pistils curling, trichomes milky, the scent rich and intoxicating. They are close… very close. Maybe not quite harvest yet, but whispering that they’re ready to show us their final act. 🌿 What to Expect Next In the coming days, we’ll watch for trichomes turning amber, for the pistils darkening, and for that subtle shift in the aroma that says “it’s time.” Expect colors to deepen, aromas to intensify, and the garden to take on that unmistakable aura of readiness. What not to expect? Rush. The girls have given us everything — now we simply wait, watch, and let them finish in peace. 💚 Gratitude To the community, the growers, the dreamers, the quiet watchers — thank you. To the sponsors and creators who make the gear that lets us grow — thank you. To the lovers and the haters — thank you too; you both push us to evolve. And to the Gelonades — thank you for being the living proof that care, patience, and love can create art from soil and light. 🌸 Closing Thought This week feels like the pause between heartbeats — the silence before the song’s last note. Everything we’ve done led us here, and everything that comes next will bloom from this moment. “May the waters run pure, may the buds rest easy, and may we harvest not just flowers — but gratitude for every step that brought us here.” 📝 PS: Pre-Harvest Notes — Knowing When It’s Time The last stretch before harvest is all about observation and patience. Every grower wants to pick the perfect moment, but that moment is a whisper, not a shout. Here’s how to listen for it: 🌼 Trichomes Your best guide. Under magnification, they tell the story. When most are cloudy with a few amber heads starting to appear, the flowers are at their peak — full potency and rich aroma. Clear trichomes mean “not yet,” while too many ambers mean the effect will lean heavier and more sedative. 🧡 Pistils Watch the hairs. Early in flower they stand white and proud, but as harvest nears they curl in and darken to orange or brown. When roughly 70–90% have changed color, the plant is signalling readiness. 🍃 Leaf Fade As you feed only water, the large fan leaves begin to pale, pulling the last stored nutrients into the buds. This is a natural and healthy fade, not a deficiency — it means the plant is completing her life cycle. 💨 Aroma Shift In the final days, the scent deepens — less sweet, more complex. Sometimes you’ll notice earthy, gassy, or fruity tones becoming more defined. That change means the terpenes are reaching full maturity. 🌙 Energy Even the way the plant feels changes — the branches seem to relax, the weight of the flowers makes them bow slightly, as if in quiet surrender to the harvest. When all these signs align — trichomes milky with a touch of amber, pistils mostly curled and dark, the fade in motion, and the room filled with a full, mature scent — then it’s time. Until then, let her dream a little longer. The last few days often bring the biggest magic. ✨ 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. The pineapple auto flower was germinated at the same time as the blueberry. It took some time to catch up, I'm not sure what I did wrong but it's just now starting to show signs of future success. I had a couple other auto strains that all failed to sprout due to my negligence. Update on those, my last seeds seem to have taken when I opten to put them in my outdoor hydro setup for germination. The conditions must be better with the uv from the sun preventing over dampening from being a molds paradise. I don't have the time to watch these all day so this was my best shot. I noticed some yellowing. Turns out my ph was off because I never calibrated my ph sensor. Fixed everything 10-Jul, hopefully she comes back to vitality soon or the yellow is just light green from the new leaves.. I diluted the nutrient solution down today but only to 1000 from being up to 1200. If nothing changes in a few days I will replace half the current reservoir supply with new ph adjusted water. I don't dechlorinate with a filter but I bubble the water for a day and hit it with uv just for good measure before adding new water. Update, after researching, it appears this is iron deficiency. Hopefully correcting the ph is enough to prevent the yellowing from continuing. Fingers crossed. Else I need a supplement. Update July 11, after calibrating my ph monitor and getting back in acceptable range yesterday [I have been shooting for 6.0 or just below] the leaves are becoming more dark green in color and the yellowish color is dissipating. You can see some of the lower leaves have some sort of burn. I am not sure if it is heat damage or caused by ph imbalance but I don't see this on the newer growth.

Once again these girls don’t really need much just watering when dry but other than that we are on cruise mode. I have been checking trichomes for about a week now and man is she almost there I should be giving them lights out with in another week or two can’t wait

Im defenetely finding that goin into 25L instead of 15 Liters is worth it plant size but the 15h of light instead of 20+ really makes a difference with bud development.

Day 74 - Cheese - Been watering with only clean ph every 3-4 days and watching the trichomes. They're mostly cloudy with no amber. Just gonna keep watching and letting it swell. Super Lemon Haze - Buds are coming in nicely. Purple leaves coming in near the top. Gets cold in the basement at night, so I'm not surprised with a bit of colour change. The tip burn doesn't seem to be moving too fast on the leaves it effected and the rest of the growth is coming in nicely. I Think there should be only a few weeks left now, so probably one more nutrient feed and onto flush as well. End of week 11 - For my first grow, I've already made it far past my expectations. Love growing and love these plants. Stay tuned for cheese harvest!

The end of week 1 has arrived. We all know how it goes. Just playing the waiting game. At this stage these girls are just working on building their root system. The roots should be hitting the reservoir in the bottom of the buckets soon then they should take off. Got the water pumping and the lights beaming 24 hours a day. Running a low dose of maxigro. Keeping the ph around 6. Will probably be topping them around day 12. Would be amazing if I can get them ready to switch to flower at the end of week 3. But for now I'm just going to check on them 420 times a day hoping they don't die. Might be back next week if they are alive. Happy growing!

So since last feed was at 3/4 I thought to give her the full dose. Found the temperature was dropping below 10 on a night so I bought a fan heater to go under the plant and circulate greenhouse. After the first day of 28/27 degree heat some of the fan leaves started to change colour and dry up which I got advice on and found this is normal when coming to the end of your cycle also found I had spider mites Found some of them and removed also sprayed plant down and flushed

Whats up brothers and sisters. We have the fourth week of flowering, my beauty has completely recovered from problems with pH. The leaves have returned to their color, the white flower hairs, as you can see, are developing wonderfully. The level of smell has increased, but the manifestation of the smell is yet to come. This is the first time I have dealt with the AutoPot watering system. In the set I use the newest AQUA valve 5, combined with a standard 47 liter tank. WOW !! Friends, I didn't expect it to be so easy and fun to use. I highly recommend it and don't forget to put your AirDome in to your pot ;) Have a nice day, You Lovely Girls Growers :D

I had bad luck, or beter I didn’t keep the rain out of the structure. So unfortunately the lady’s did get wet! We had a lot of rain after a great summer. I think if I didn’t had rotten flowering 800 gram per plant was normal yield! It is a great plant verry easy to grow and a big yield! I like the seeds of high-Seeds! Its a great supplier! This year a couple of diverent lady’s! Whit a new growhouse.

First day of week 6, I will be adding content as the week progresses, have a look at week 5 as that is now complete. Status: Candy Kush #1 d36 - Looking awesome, some pistils showing. Was too bushy so did some LST and slight defoliation today with supercrop on 1 branch. Candy Kush #2 d36 - Looks like nitrogen deficiency is sorted, now I have excess? :D see the clawing tips? Gonna stick with the current feed, hopefully she'll overcome otherwise I'll flush her once if things get worse. Bubble Kush d32 - Amazing, nothing to report, some tucking done Fastberry d32 - Looking as weird as ever, some tucking done Sugar Mama d36 - growing and getting really bushy, shame about the mess I did with the roots/stem but she is doing ok now. ---- Fed 2nd day of weeks 6 (day 37), 3ml biogrow 2ml calmag. pH was at 6.5 Ec was at 1.5. New leaves are really yellow in candy Kush 2, iron deficiency? Not sure what is happening, will be monitoring. ---- Day 38, Removed the yellow leaves and a little defoliation on all the plants ---- Day 39, Raised the shorter plants so they get some more lights. All of them have finished 35 days (5 weeks from seedling today) and are looking great. Feed the same, although they still look very bright, brighter than I am used to. ---- Day 41, Feeding time, started giving them bloom at 5ml/l and the other normal dosages as in diary. ---- Day 42, End of week 6 The girls are all looking great, there is is so much hair on the buds, haven't seen so much with outdoor grows. Exciting :D Sugar mama is way too bushy and not getting taller. The new blades are too thin, maybe I'm overfeeding her (only biogrow+calmag)? defoliated her, lots of fan leaves removes, she is asking for some training, I've ordered plant tie and will do some LST when delivered. Fastberry also had a couple of leaves removed All kushs doing great Thanks for reading and happy growing!
