* ********* Week 8 - May 30 to June 5, 2020 - Day 50 to 56 ********** * Getting caught up on pictures......... Bud sites finally set in this week and the girls are in full flower now. They have been switched back to 18/6 light cycle as well........they spent 4 nights at 12/12 so I didn’t want to push it further and risk low productivity in 12/12 or her being overly stressed coming back to 18/6 after too long so it was time to switch back. GSC is staying in her own tent now.....she is too big to go back in with the other girls. I have to order a couple of things to make it work but feel that is the best answer. GSC2 went back into the flower tent with the others and just put her on several risers to bring canopy up. The girls need some leaves removed here and there but there are actually very few leaves in the big picture so I am very reluctant to remove too many. The girls seemed to grow smaller leaves and bud sites are smaller right now. Lots of branch on GSC but I am not looking to grow branches😃Branches stiffened up more this week and have been working a little more silica into her feed. Strong stock = big yield👍 GSC has been feeding hard this week. She is having no issues going through 3L a day of feed. GSC2 is being fed the same right now and she is also stiffening up and looking more “perky” all the time......forming into a cannabis plant more now🤞GSC2 has done so well with her bad transplant and growing out of the pot almost sideways......she is a fighter!!! Stay the course for now and get the second environment dialled in for the big girl!!! Little more detail........ May 30/20 - Day 50 - Dry out day for the girls - GSC still not set bud sites.....three days at 12/12 now?? - GSC2 is looking taller and side branches are reaching up more. May 31/20 - Day 51 - 8L water mixed with Dual Fuel @ 2ml, Piranha, Voodoo, Sensyzime, Rezin, Liquid Wt, CalMag @ 1ml = 1300ppm and 5.9pH - GSC took 5L - runoff 900ppm and 5.7pH - GSC2 took 3L - runoff 1300ppm and 5.9pH - Leaf strip harder on both girls today - GSC is 21” tall and slowly forming bud sites. - GSC still on 12/12 light cycle June 1/20 - Day 52 - dry out day - GSC has a number of hairs coming out today......buds slowly forming, Leaves are smaller. - moved light cycle back to 15/9 today.......slowly working GSC back to 18/6. June 2/20 - Day 53 - 7L water with Vitathrive @ 2ml, Rhinoskin, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 950ppm and 5.9pH - GSC took roughly 4L and GSC2 took 3L.........no runoff from either girl - GSC has more hairs popping and she is progressing. - GSC tent back to 18/6 today. - GSC2 is showing some spotting on her leaves. June 3/20 - Day 54 - dry out day - GSC stem is stiffening and hairs are looking good. - GSC2 is in full flower now as well and looking good....not tall though. June 4/20 - Day 55 - big water day - GSC given 6L with Massive @ 3ml, Sensyzime, Rezin, Liquid Wt @ 1.5ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 1025ppm and 6.1pH - she was super dry and took all 6L no problem, - GSC2 given 4L with Massive @ 3ml, VeloKelp, Sensyzime, Rezin, Liquid Wt, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 1275ppm and 6.1pH - GSC2 given some kelp and increased based nutes a bit. - GSC in veg tent by herself......she is just to big to go back in the other tent!!!!😀 - GSC2 is getting squished a bit in the other tent as well as they are all doing well and filling in the tent. - GSC2 is put on milk crate to raise her up a bit and some more light on her. June 5/20 - Day 56 - dry out day - GSC didn’t look as happy today as I would have thought? - GSC2 on the other hand is firming up and looking a lot more like a plant in flower now👍

DAY 56 flowering: Hi all and welcome to any new visitors too. We are at the near end point now with this 1st run of the viparspectra xs1500. It has been a very pleasant experience and also a humbling one too. I never expected the performance it has proven and initially thought I would struggle to find a practical way of incorporating it into my set up and to see what it had got to offer. Deciding to go the route I have was more driven by the lights abilities to perform wat better than I anticipated. The 5 seedlings soon became 5 big ladies that would have been impossible to squeeze under the 2x2 flowering coverage They did however, get an amazing start right up to flowering beginning before I had to choose who stayed under the xs1500. The 2 that I mainly diary for the lights ability are the focus of the journal but I have to include a little on the other strains due to their initial support from the light and to also include the Gorilla cookies as they are amazing plants. They are both so close to ready now and sadly one of the mains has been hit with an little bud rot from its density. The buds smell so candy sweet now too. I will be keeping a very vigilant eye on these now. Grandaddys mimosa had continued her swelling from using the #Shogun Dragon force and is a perfect example of how the product works in the final 2 weeks of flowering , when usually they are fading out to finish. The buds have doubled in girth with an absolutely solid feel to them too . The light has helped create some very hard buds. No signs of whisky popcorn at all and each stack is a solid spike of flowering plant. For such a squat girl, she is so impressive. She smells so fruity with a hint of citrus to her and she is engulfing all the leaves that had been poking out previously. I think she will be a surprise yield next week !. The Northern lights girls are both doing really well too with the #2 mutant starting to ripen up finally now. She is still way taller than her sister but has sone long node gaps. #1 is totally different, she is a spiked monster compared and her colas are taking on a nice pale orange colour as they ripen. I do think she will go another week before being ready to consider harvest. She is still so fresh looking in a lot of places that I dont want to rush her at all. The light has managed to penetrate deep enough into the plant to create long spiked colas with no issues down low in the canopy with whispy popcorn to mention either. This is a very positive point to mention as some l.e.d do not get the penetration needed to do more than create a top canopy with poor light reaching deeper and not supplying the par they need. This light does not have that issue by a long shot. It penetrates like "Dirk diggler" and reaches all those important ladies parts !!!.... I am most impressed by the mimosa so far and as a 1st gen cross auto of a mimosa lemon Male sacks and a random multi strain seeding from its pollen release , I have ended up with a good amount of crossed autos from trusted and stable strains. It can be fun growing these out and so far this is the 3rd from the batch that I have successfully run. Aside from the benefits of the end products we get , the journey we go on can be an amazing and eye openening experience. If you start to investigate how these plants really live , love and die and how they use the network of available systems to communicate and build our much loved bud factories , you will find it hard to climb out of that rabbit hole . Finding out that fungi is not the man everyone wants to party with but IS a complex communication system used in nature to meet the needs of the whole forest/fauna in unison is life changing !!!!!. At day 57, they are now going into a 48hr dark period before harvesting . I did have a couple of bud rot issues in one or two buds due to the density of their growth. I am hoping to keepnot at bay during the low and slow dry after trimming wet this time. I will update their yield ect once they finish. Pics dont do them justice and they smell so sweet. This week went by fast! They're growing really fast and always hungry! They're getting ready for the flower stage and entering Bloom. They're getting 2L of H20 per day that's pH at 6.8. I water 2x a day! I turn them on at 6am and give them 1L of H20 at 9am that way they're awake and 1L of H2O at 9pm that way they're split. I feed my nutrients at the 9am watering. I pH my nutrient mix somewhere between 5.8 and 6.2. I also have amended the soil with Soil Recharge and that's once a week as well as the Fish Shit and The Stash Blend. Then, I always flush with only pH H20 the day after any nutrient mix. Overall, the plants are healthy and I'm waiting to see how they turn out!

There really is only 4 auto plants in there!! Lol 😆😆

P-Boost and Topbooster, our dynamic duo, continue to work their magic. Picture it like a nutrient wizardry, with organic nitrogen, L-amino acids, and a bouquet of trace elements and natural stimulants enhancing the bloom. The anticipation for those luscious, aromatic buds is becoming palpable. Our TDS is maintaining a harmonious 390, and the pH, a symphony at 6.0. This plant has been a Beast has been going very healthy and very strong I have been defoliation heavily to ensure maximum light penetration into the canopy in order to make them ready for flowering cycle . All I can say about this strain… is I loved how high I felt when smoking this strain. More than that I will be lying… now that I have opened myself to this community, I am going to me conscious about what I smoke and how I grow… and I think investing in a test kit will be ideal, so I can cpmpare my potency with the breeder’s research.

Slight increase in nutrient feeds, thus far 0 signals of deficiencies. *Mid week update - 09/13* Both plants have grown approximately 6 inches in height Early flowering continuing to progress accordingly Half a gallon increase in water feed (Nutes included) *End of week recap 09/16* Mimosa Cake (Auto) - Both in week flowering accordingly Small increase on nute feeds - Moderate increase in filtered plain water feed (1.5 gallons ) *SEE END OF WEEK RECAP VIDEO*

I did her first water change on day 10 upped the nutrient dose and increased the reservior to 12 gallons. Gave her the first dose of armor si and humic acid. I topped her on day 12 to start 4 main branches. Will most likely top again and start training in about a week depending on how she wants to grow. She is the slowest growing plant so far but I have high hopes for her. The goal is a maximum of 5 weeks veg if they cooperate. They are under 240w qb and a galaxyhydro pulling about 140w for now. Will be adding more qb when I spread the buckets out.

I'm happy with the progress they have made, all have responded well to defoliation and LST. I'll be adding a few more light nutrients at some point this week. The gorilla zkittles is shorter than the rest but looks very sturdy and has plenty of bud showing already, I think this is because it started flowering maybe 7days before the rest and in them 7days the rest shot up rapidly! I'll update daily and try get some nice videos with lights out.

Amazing week buds have grown loads both plant really top heavy both smell amazing and look beautiful!!

I flushed the pots once this week. And use once with enhancer and a very small dose of shrot flowering fertilizer. And I tried very hard to lower the humidity and make the daytime temperature not more than 25 degrees 💐🛸👽💥1

Update time. (1 day early) During week 8 Watered once with compost tea (Worm castings and unsulfured molasses) Light defoliation every few days on bottom leaves/popcorn buds Noticed some of the girls fan leaves are darker than others. These autos are very sensitive to nutes/light/watering. **Promoted to Apprentice Grower. Thanks!! :D Plan for week 9 Planning on adding phosphate/potassium with dry amendments one more time during this week. Nitrogen seems to be showing a bit high in a few of the girls and not in the others. Not sure if its early N toxicity or just the genes of the plants. Feeding each one the same. Watering with regular PH water 6.6-6.8 (checking run off) More minor defoliation as I see fit. Overall really happy still with this grow! I am definitely a "Newbie" when it comes to growing Autos so this is a great learning experience. I have noticed these girls really don't need too heavy of nutrients and are very sensitive plants. Week 5 start, no signs of flowering yet, very strange. But i think it will start in next 2-3 days. Overall previous week was very good and productive, plant grew double or triple size. Let's see what this week brings. Day 30 - Its hard to see on a photos, but scrog is doing a great job and theres a lot of bud sites. Some are covered by big ass leaves, but i check it and fix as often as i can. Will get some better pictures and video tomorrow. Day 32 - Decided to give plamt a flush right before flowering, so it can start with some fresh roots. Plant is growing really well, will need some leaves cut. 4L with FloraKleen. Day 35 - Flowering is going full speed, will cut some leaves tomorrow, as they just block a lot of light. Almost no smell. 4L with nutrients. Peace.
