We did a lot of defoliating the past 2 weeks , the girls were growing water leaves like we were about to start a small forest 🌳. But above all we got a chance to see the genetics that made the difference on who we decided to keep this run and who didn’t make it. So big big s/o to @42fastbuds for giving us great genetics the community can count on. Another good week come and gone. A couple of the girls needed nutrients so I add some general hydroponics blend into those that needed them. Didn't seem to make much difference yet. But they are getting into late flower. Orange sherbet isnt great right now. No real smell and not looking great. Not sure but prolly too small of a pot. Wockesha starting week 9 of flower! Harvest will be at week 10. I am really impressed with the strain. It’s takes good to all Stress Wockesha Day 63: 7Gallon Monster Pheno If you rock with PSGx you know this is a 8-9 week strain but I take everything I grow to the max of it can handle it and this one for sure can. Minus the leaf burn she's beautiful at 9 weeks. Chop day will be the 31st at 10weeks For the past 2 weeks she hasn't been a fan of the high light intensity from the FC-E6500. That still hasn't stopped her from putting on weight! Some of these colas are wider than quart bottles from Fox Farms. This pheno is my #1 pick from this Wock run and has all the qualities I'm looking for in growth. The rest of the ladies: Showtime beautiful buds with so much frost. Although all the phenos were different that all had one thing in common. Purple undertones to the buds

The girls look healthy, happy, and smell delicious, kinda sweet citrusy. I'm overall satisfied so far. They have some crystals forming on them as well. I feel like it's gonna be a successful grow. But don't think I'm gonna use Green-O-Matic again, it's not as short as I wanted it to be, and it has unstable phenotype. I hope the effects are nice and relaxing though.

Hi meine lieben, 🤗 Die 2. Woche der Wachstums-Phase steht an... ...und die realität schlägt zu. Hatte versucht diesen Run mit einem höheren VPD-Wert und dadurch ohne zusätzliches CalMag hinzufügen zumüssen, laufen zulassen. Da laut einer Studie, man durch einen erhöhten VPD, kein zusätzliches CalMag unter LED's hinzugefügt werden müsste. Allerdings gieße ich noch mit Leitungswasser. Also hatte ich mir mal die werte meiner Stadtwerke angeschaut. Und in meinem Wasser habe ich Calcium = 78 mg/l und Magnesium = 5,3 mg/l und somit ein verhältnis von 14:1😰. Was von einer Optimalen versorgung von 2:1 - 4:1 CalMag etwas entfernt ist... 😅 Beste Lösung wäre ein Filtersystem wie der Watertrim zu nutzen. Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Hallo liebe Gartenfreunde! Im Moment ist es so, dass wir kaum Zeit haben weil wir viel unterwegs sind etc. Augenscheinlich wirkt die P.C.K. die sich in der Blüte befindet, etwas unterernährt obwohl sie ordentlich was bekommt. Auch das angesprochene CalMag in letztiger Woche, was gut verabreicht wurde, scheint iwie nicht auszureichen. Wir werden da dran bleiben, das optimieren und schauen, ob es sich bessert. Da das Autopot System installiert ist, galt es jetzt den richtigen takt für die Nährstoff Versorgung zu finden. Das Messen des Bodenwertes wird durch das Autopot System erschwert, da die Nährstoffaufnahme jetzt von unten geschieht. Ähm ja, es wird spannend XD Ameisen wurden auch letztes Wochenende wieder ein paar gesichtet und auch behandelt. Anscheinend werden wir die auch nicht ganz los. Natur ist halt Natur. Constructive interference is the phenomenon where two waves combine to form a new wave with a larger amplitude. This occurs when the peaks of one wave align with the peaks of another, and troughs align with troughs, causing their amplitudes to add together. For example, if two identical waves meet, their amplitudes will combine to produce a resultant wave with double the original amplitude. Constructive interference is a fundamental phenomenon based on the universal laws of nature, specifically the principle of superposition. 👋Top is a clean cut, no confusion for the plant, road ahead is clear, by completely removing the main growth tip, the auxin source is eliminated. The plant permanently halts vertical growth from that main stem and immediately sends its energy and hormones to the two new, evenly spaced branches just below the cut. Fimming slightly different because a small tuft of the top growth is left behind, the auxin disruption is temporary and less severe. The plant recovers more quickly and sends its energy to multiple surrounding growth points, often creating four or more new shoots from the same spot. It will eventually regain some vertical dominance after a few weeks if left to its own devices, but with a little more LST, bending the apex to the same height as the rest of the internodes, this shatters dominance, hopefully creating around 8-9 main shoots growing at equal height once recovered and grown out. Reduced environmental intensity for now and let her focus on dealing with this new stress for a week or two. When H+ ions are added to soil, the first nutrient displaced from exchange sites is typically aluminum (Al3+), if it's present, followed by calcium (Ca2+), magnesium (Mg2+), and potassium (K+), because aluminum and these base cations have different binding strengths. The order of displacement depends on the lyotropic series, where ions with a higher positive charge and those with weaker binding strengths are displaced first. The specific order of nutrient displacement is determined by the lyotropic series, which ranks the strength with which cations are adsorbed by soil particles: Al3+: Most strongly adsorbed, so if present, it will be displaced by H+ ions, leading to increased solubility of aluminum and potential plant toxicity. Ca2+: Displaced next, as it is more strongly bound than Mg2+ or K+ but less than Al3+. Mg2+ and K+: Displaced after Ca2+. The displaced nutrients can be lost from the root zone through leaching, becoming unavailable to plants. As H+ ions increase, the proportion of acid cations (H+ and Al3+) on the exchange sites increases, while base cations (Ca2+, Mg2+, K+) decrease, resulting in a lower soil pH. The amount of photosynthesis (water splitting) directly determines the availability of H+ ions (protons) in a plant. 90% of water is for cooling of photosynthetic apparatus the other 10% is split for its H+ among others things. Carbon sugars, like glucose, do oxidize in soil through a process primarily driven by microorganisms, which break down these sugars for energy. This oxidation converts the sugars into carbon dioxide (CO2) through cellular respiration, a key part of the soil carbon cycle, though some carbon may also be incorporated into soil organic matter. The rate and extent of sugar oxidation depend on factors like oxygen availability, the presence of Fe oxides, and soil redox conditions, which can all influence the process. My understanding of why we flush. Just plain water, what does it do? Strips the medium of salts and nutrients making it empty. What does that do? Triggers nutrient recycling within the plant. What's nutrient recycling? It is a natural part of plant senescence, which can be triggered once you know the switches. A 24:1 carbon-to-nitrogen ratio will also trigger. Why won't it trigger autophagy for me? Nitrogen needs to be gone, gone, gone almost. Ammoniacal (organic) nitrogen takes 4-5 times more water to separate it from soil particles than nitrates so what happens is most people jist flush the nitrates, leave all the ammoniacal in there and this prevents autophagy initiating. Nitrogen decays differently depending on its form during the dry. Ammoniacal nitrogen will oxidize in the air, leaving no trace. But nitrates do no decay and turn volatile and smelly and remain trapped until smoked, no matter how long you cure it does not oxidize. This is why you need to trigger it and begin the denitrification process prior to harvest to get rid of all the nitrates. Otherwise, you will smoke it. Flush till autophagy begins, just make sure you add no nitrogen afterwards. Micronutrients for trichomes. Don't leave the medium empty for 2 weeks, that does nothing but reduce yield 10%ish. Trichomes are another thing. Trichomes themselves are not directly affected by flushing; rather, flushing affects the plant's nutrient uptake, which influences the development and final state of the trichomes. Trichomes are filled with antioxidants in the last weeks, which is what makes them cloudy. A lot of the processing of antioxidants requires energy and nutrients (mostly micronutrients ), so you don't want that soil empty for 2 weeks, you just want the carbon nitrogen ratio 24:1and no higher. She still wants what she needs to ripen. Processing antioxidants is energy-intensive; heat and light accelerate the rate at which THC converts to CBN. This is why you lower DLI, lower temps. By doing so, you reduce the oxidative workload caused by photosynthesis, which opens up the oxidative capacity for the production of antioxidants. THC is mostly processed at night when the plant's oxidative capacity is generally moreso "free and available" for work. Oxygen is the alchemist's "fire"

Aug 17: gotta love big fast plants. This is a nice big plant and the buds are forming very quickly. Added a scrog net layer because I realized the buds are getting heavy already and will likely want more support. These loosely placed Scrog nets are working great and they make it easy to expose buds while tucking fan leaves out of the way. Honestly, I can hardly believe how fast these buds are maturing. Very impressed. Aug 18: another cool and slightly rainy day but at least it’s not so smoky. This new normal of ‘which town is gonna get burned this year?’ Is not fun at all. This year is was a third of the town of Jasper which is inside a national park. Aug 21: this plant is awesome with really big buds forming quite quickly. The buds are starting to put on weight and the UV light is definitely helping to produce trichomes. 👍👍 I love this plant. #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds

Week 13 in the garden, and it's been a week of contemplation and admiration. Despite my initial plan to flip the plants, I decided to give them another week in vegetation. It's like I'm sculpting a masterpiece, carefully grooming the plants into a perfect botanical sculpture. Working with my plants feels like art – it requires skill, love, dedication, and a sense of playing God. As I look at the tent, I can't help but feel a sense of pride and joy. These green beauties are turning out amazing, and I'm filled with overwhelming happiness whenever I get the chance to speak to people about them and show them off. But the time has come to take the next step in their journey. They're being flipped this week for sure, ready to embark on the next chapter of their growth. It's bittersweet, but I know it's all part of the magical process of growing these wonderful plants. Here's to Week 13 – a week of artistry, joy, and the promise of new beginnings. 🌿🎨

Right now it looks like I am going to need to go for the extra week or so... with that I am thinking that I will change the water as normal Saturday Morning the only difference this week is that I will probably do 46 gallons instead of 36 pushing everything to the top to ensure running out of water is not one of my issues while on Vacation next week. Evening update checked on them and the water was uncomfortably low so I added 10 gallons of water and accompanying Nutes. This is also the last shot for the grow of CALMag... Added: 10 gallons of Water CALMag- .75mil/Gal GH FLoraMicro-3.8mil/Gal GH FlroaGro-2.8mil/Gal GH FLroaBloom-4.3Mil/Gal Liquid KoolBloom 2.5mil/Gal TPS SIGNAL- 3.0mil/Gal ORCA-.5mil/Gal Week 8 Day 7 11/17/2023 Well the Trichome check this morning settles it, She need more time.. So with that said.. Must deploy my Contingency Strategy that I designed just incase I ran into this Scenario, biggest worry fluctuation of the PH level as the water goes down over the week.. 1. Change water Tomorrow as Schedule and enter Week 9 Nutes- Instead of 36gallons add 46-48 gallons 2. Balance system to 6.0 3. Check PH on Sunday Morning balance to 6.0 4. Check PH on Sunday evening before getting on road balance to 6.0 5. Hope everything looks good when I get back.

so here we are, didn't really have time or effort to finish just because was really busy doing other stuff, but can't complain about anything in this grow, the condition and the space was limited but I'm really happy with the final result, big thumb up for zamnesia
