Week 4: Continued Growth and Training Hello dear Weed friends, welcome to my fourth weekly report on my exciting grow with four different strains: Lemon Gelato, Orange Sherbert, Apple Fritter and Bruce Banner. This week I learned a lot and continued to care for and promote my plants. I took the following steps: I applied LST (Low Stress Training) to all plants to improve their shape and let more light reach the lower branches. I topped the Apple Fritter several times, as it grows the fastest . I hope that this will result in many thick buds. I topped the other three strains only on the main stem to allow them more side branches. The plants look good, even though I sometimes doubt whether I am doing everything right. But I am confident that they will be even stronger and more beautiful in 1-2 weeks. My next goal is to repot the plants in larger pots in 2 weeks and attach a net in the tent. This should help me distribute the plants evenly and use the space optimally. I also want to avoid having such a mess in the tent as last time. That made harvesting very difficult. Another highlight this week was buying a new lamp: the Lumatek 300 Watt Pro Edition. This lamp is simply fantastic! It has a great illumination, a high efficiency and a cool look. It looks like a UFO! I am very happy with this investment and gave my old lamp to my brother. So it stays in the family. I water my plants as needed with 1 liter of water each, to which I add 100 percent of the recommended fertilizer schedule. I use all options of the fertilizer, which you can read in the fertilizer directory. I would also like to show you my timelapse video that I have been making since the first week. The video shows you how my plants have changed from week to week. It is really impressive to see how they have grown. I will update the video every four weeks and show you the latest video. Week 8: Water and wait This Lady is SUCH a blast to watch!!!! Her giant colas and sugary orange nugs just sparkle with resin. The structure is GREAT for avoiding bud rot which would be my major concern here. She has been flushing for a week. I assume she has 1 or 2 more in her. Really excited to write this smoke report.

I planted this into its final container.. I did some light defoliation this week to expose all the bud sites in hopes they fatten up and then to frosty mcnuggets.. never really Defoliate autos but trying something new... At that point of putting on its weight so I jumped the nutes up a bit more. Had some slight light burn during veg and early flower.. brand new hlg blackbird.. I justvput it up to 70% at about 24 inches away.. 60% was too much during veg so kinda touch and go but keeping an eye on her.

I love my west Coast OG from fastbuds.. The smell is crazy and after I touched a bud I couldn't believe the smell and the stickyness... Wow.. Aug 10 I just flushed today.. might have been feeding her to much last week and my leaves started to get brown spots... Buds are getting thicker and they're very hard now.. Think I have 2 or 3 weeks left... Been under the mars hydro sp150 and it's really doing it's job... Update... After flush looks like pH is a bit high I guess but not crazy high

She's moving along at a nice pace. Bulking up while giving no real issues. Has some nice mass to her. She's a wee bit taller. And if I could redo something it would be applying HST to her after preflower. Lovely dank lemon kush smell developing. Super sticky to the touch and building a boat load of trichomes. This is my 2nd SweetSeeds grow. And I'll 100% be doing this strain again. (As I know what it's like, its being curing 45 days now). Xpert nutrients have been a gift in their application to its ease and fast results, I simply can't praise them enough. Has brought my bud quality up easily 2-3x and Increased bud quantity. Although, that's me knowing by looking at the plants. I roughly weight stuff, I know I got 1850 dry grams from 45 plants. 13-15 were 8L pots and small such as this. So, this was 1 of the biggest yeilders out of the lot.(crop is finished and burnt my way through 2/3rds of it, I've about a halfo of this for my night time smoke, while my last 6 plants from this crop have been curing 3 weeks now and will soon be smoked) biggest crop I've done. 45 plants was a feat, a real task keeping track with whos on what and using xpert nutrients made it much smoother and any slight ph mistakes or overf/under feeds didn't destroy 1 plant to the point were it was culled. Cherry is quickly making me forget all about the tragic death of her sister. She is really bulking up and starting to really put on the frost even some fan leaves are starting to become frosty. She may have started slow but MAN is she making up for it now.

5/12/2024 these plants just keep on getting fluffier and fluffier. Did a slight defoliation. The plant I did training on, seems to have better stackage than her sister. If lst doesn’t increase yield, then it at the very least will increase bud size/stacking. 5/19 end of the week, they're starting to pack on weight now. Pistils are turning a super bright orange color that has a pink tint to it that is super beautiful. The camera does not do it justice at all. I would definitely recommend this strain to anyone. It's stupid easy to grow and the buds are just getting ridiculous. You could probably drop like 9 of these in 3 gal pots in 3x3 tent and just water and basic notes and do a sea of green style. Watch the humidity though.

Another week and the root growth is letting me know we're close to transplant time, which is a good timing with my tent getting ready for a new cycle. I pulled a few lower leaves off her to keep that energy pushing up to the top. Based on the leaves, she appears to lean to the OGKB in her lineage, so this should be a nice candidate for a scrog to get the most of the business of the strain. March 08 I left the air purifier on by accident again last night so there was a blue light overnight. The buds look good though. I taped the window up so I'm no longer having a humidity issue at night. I alternate between having the light on at 100% and 75% and recently 50% as well. March 10 I just fed them Ph'd water with molasses. Runoff pH 6.2-6.5, ppm 200-600. I'm having trouble getting good shots of the trichromes but I'm starting to see more amber ones. Less than 5%.

Since the 4th day she started to grow at high speed, a bit more than a cm/day. She's really looking awesome, making some bold branches and defining every part of the plant very well. Some weeks ago I told that the smell went too strong at home, but it lowered to normal levels last week, now she's smelling more and more each day again ;). I can say about Alice.K, that I had 0 problems or weird things along the current 9 weeks, she suffered very high temperatures, some insects, and also i'm going hard with nutes, I'm cycling EC reaching 2 sometimes, and she didn't show any excess signs at time, I'm not telling that they're not going to exist on Alice, but not at time, if i see some, i will stop and re-adjust. Por fin empezó la floración. Como se puede ver en el vídeo semanal, los 3 primeros días de la floración la planta se mantuvo en un estado vegetativo (sin crecimiento). A partir del cuarto día a empezado a crecer a gran velocidad, de momento más de 1 cm al día. De verdad que se ve maravillosa, está engordando bien las ramas y definiendo su partes muy bien. Hace algunas semanas comenté que ya estaba apestando toda mi casa y aún estaba en crecimiento. El olor fue disminuyendo hasta niveles normales y esta semana de nuevo está volviendo a incrementar su olor día a día. De momento debo remarcar que en 9 semanas de cultivo que van, la Alice.k me ha dado 0 problemas o cosas raras. Ha sufrido de altas temperaturas, algunos insectos y he empezado a ir fuerte con los nutrientes. Estoy ciclando la EC en los riegos, sobrepasando los 2 en algunos casos, de momento no ha mostrado ningún signo de exceso. Con esto no quiero decir que no los vaya a mostrar si sigo así, pero de momento no lo ha hecho, si en algún momento empiezo a ver signos, ya frenaré y reajustaré. También es un planta fuerte y con capacidad de recuperación rápida, eso se puede observar en los vídeos perfectamente. 27/07/20 se podaron y se hizo lst. Mañana riego con ferti bien cargado porque están mostrando falta de potacio y fósforo ya. Últimas dos semanas de vege y a florar 28/07/20 se fertilizó foerte

Die Systeme sind mittlerweile gut eingestellt und auch das etwas laute Gluggern habe ich in den Griff bekommen. Jetzt sind die Systeme vom Geräuschpegel nahezu gleichwertig. Die Nährlösung ist dieses mal von Anfang an stabil, da ich die Eimer, den Blähton und die Steinwollwürfel alle vorher in vollwertiger Nährlösung eingeweicht hatte. Ich habe sie dann über 2 Tage noch nachregeln müssen und ab dann war der PH-Wert soweit stabil und ich konnte die vorgekeimten Seeds in die Würfel werfen. Mit dieser Methode fühle ich mich dieses mal irgendwie etwas "sicherer", aber mal schauen, ob sie dieses mal anfangs trotzdem wieder etwas durchgemangelt aussehen.
