I'm very happy with how these came out. They finished right in the breeders estimated flowering time and they smell great. The back plant came out smaller, as expected, due to the watering issues I had, but it still came out very nice. Update 6/20: Just finished trimming the plants and they are now going into a curing bucket. Total dry weight is 210g and the bud smells really nice!

🌿 Week 4 – Vegetative Stage Strain: Permanent Marker (Zamnesia Seeds) Project: Dognabis Cup Example Grow 🌍 ⸻ 💚 Growth Before the Flip The girls are still in veg, but they’re showing such strong, pre-flower-like development that it almost feels like they’re ahead of schedule. Internodal spacing is tight, leaf formation is elegant, and both phenos (PM#1 and PM#2) remain incredibly similar in structure, color, and vigor. They have a compact yet big presence, lush canopies with balanced symmetry. The consistency in these genetics is impressive, and they’ve kept their health spotless from the start. ⸻ 📸 Studio Shots This week, we brought them into the studio to capture their beauty one last time before they transition to flower. Deep greens, perfect leaf serration, and textbook node formation, they’re looking ready for the big stage. ⸻ 💧 Feeding – No Change in Recipe We continue with the same nutrient schedule as before: • Start Booster – To encourage strong root systems and microbial support • CalMag Boost – To ensure no deficiencies and strong cell walls • Regulator – For nutrient uptake efficiency and plant resilience • pH: ~6.1 • Feed EC: ~0.6 (pellets in the soil are still doing a lot of the work) This consistency is key, we want them steady and strong going into the flip. ⸻ 🌿 Environment & Measurements • Air Temp: ~31°C (slightly high, AC unit arriving soon to improve this) • Humidity: ~50% • CO₂: ~700 ppm • Soil Temp: ~25°C • Watering: ~1.5–2.0 L/day, triggered at ~25% soil dryness • Soil EC: ~2.0 (nutrient balance remains ideal) • PPFD: 760–780 µmol/m²/s, with natural variation due to untrained growth pattern ⸻ 🎓 Why the Data Matters Tracking PPFD, soil EC, dryness, temperature, and CO₂ isn’t just technical, it’s about reading the plants. These numbers help anticipate issues before they show visually, fine-tune growth rates, and ensure optimal conditions for the flip. ⸻ 👑 The Queen Awaits Permanent Marker remains one of the most exciting modern strains, a new-school heavy-hitter with legendary parentage (Biscotti x Jealousy x Sherb Bx). As an example grow for the Dognabis Cup, these plants are showing exactly what careful, consistent cultivation can achieve. ⸻ 🔮 Next Week: The Flip This is the last week of vegetative growth. The next stage will see the girls officially move into flower, where we expect explosive bud site development and that unmistakable Permanent Marker frost. For now, we enjoy the sight of healthy, happy queens, calm before the floral storm. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Starting to pick up a bit of bulk now. I'm reluctant to remove some of the fan leaves, because I maimed my first grow lol. So I'm using soft plant wire to hold the fan leaves aside. Allow as much light through to the new nodes

Hello This is the end of week 9 and the beginning of week 10 of veg. Got my 4 year cancer checkup... got the nose and throat camera.. And the Dr. couldn't find anything wrong. I get 1 more checkup in a year before they can give me a... all clear for cancer. I'm going to beat it... Thanks Rick Simpson... Picked up this magazine a few days ago and just wanted to share the adds and articles. There's a Cheech and Chong interview and story in my Captain Future diary this week if your interested. Everything is going good in here. I've seen some fungus gnats flying around But I've also seen some very small spiders starting webs, and they will grow, and take care of the gnat problem. The plants are just getting rainwater for now. There's is lots of compost in each pot... the roots just have to find it. I'll give some food in a week or two. Going to be turned to flowering by June 1st, so there is still another month of veg to go. OK. Have Fun. Chuck

Week4 5-6 Day 22 Flowers, right around the corner. Just readjusted LST, tad behind. Maybe made a boo boo. Maybe not. But I did drop her on her head week 1. 😵 Time will tell, either way, I'll finish her. I've been all over this grow. Wind burn, clawing, maybe stunt. Hahaha the fun of growing and learning. Eco 30%. Claw fix in progress. Happy Growing!

Week 2 vegetation for the strawberry gorilla from fastbuds 420. All good at the moment, we are testing the xpert line with these girls. 1ml of master grow A+B 1ml of master root We removed the 2 lowest sets of leaves and branches. We do this because we have the girls in 7 liters and quite some plants together, so i prefer to concentrate on the main bud and only some side buds

Hey there, fellow plant enthusiasts! It’s time for another exciting update on our magnificent P.C.R.s as they journey through their second week of flowering. Buckle up, because things are getting wild in the grow room! Our P.C.R.s are on a growth spurt like no other! They're reaching for the stars and filling up the entire room with their lush foliage and budding flowers. It's like a jungle in here, and I’m loving every minute of it! The energy in the room is electric, and you can practically feel the excitement buzzing in the air. With all this growth, our grow room is bursting at the seams! These plants are not messing around—they’re taking up every inch of space and demanding attention. It's like they're saying, "Look at us, we're the stars of the show!" And let me tell you, they're stealing the spotlight with their beauty and vigor. As we approach day 21, the anticipation for defoliation is real. But our P.C.R.s have other plans—they're playing hard to get! Despite their reluctance, I’m keeping a close eye on them and patiently waiting for the perfect moment to give them a little trim. After all, a little pruning goes a long way in ensuring optimal light penetration and airflow, leading to healthier and happier plants. Defoliation is like a mini makeover for our plants—it removes excess foliage, allowing more light to reach the lower buds and promoting better airflow throughout the canopy. This not only improves bud development but also reduces the risk of mold and pests. It's like giving our P.C.R.s a spa day—they come out looking refreshed and rejuvenated! Week 2 of flowering has been nothing short of exhilarating! Our P.C.R.s are growing like champs, filling the room with their vibrant energy and undeniable charm. While we wait for the perfect defoliation moment, we'll continue to shower them with love and attention, nurturing them every step of the way. Shout Outs A big shout out to @aptusholland for their incredible products that keep our plants thriving. And to the amazing community at Grow Diaries and all our followers, your support and enthusiasm fuel our passion for growing. Let's keep the green revolution going strong! Until next time, happy growing, and may your gardens be abundant and bountiful! Have some Hurkle regular seeds i got my hands on. I germinated them and they sprouted. Pictures are a real testament to genetics, and pheno types. all planted same day other the same circumstance and rotation in hot spots. all diff sizes and leaves are a different health. This grow is an experiment the weakest one will stay in the tent and go 12/12 after its first set of true leaves to see quality. the 2 bigger ones will be for an outdoor balcony grow on the lake. Direct sunlight from 6am-2pm. Right now they are in the tent for another week until the temperature is a little more consistent outside. then i will transplant.

6 weeks in soil, everything is doing great, genetics are good and did respond well to topping ! Gonna clean them a bit ( after taking the pictures), by plugging off the inner leaves and lollipopping the 2 lowest sides shoots . Watering with some BIO 8-2-2 , plants will break down this source of Nitrogen quicker than breaking down the one available in BIO Soil. As these ladies are eating like monsters I don’t want them to run out of anything if possible. Another last week before putting everyone under a trellis and start scrogging. I will be able to start to see which lowers shoots are going to reach to top ! ( I’m looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control 🐞 )
