Grow going well. Girls getting frosty.

By coincidence the video is perfectly timed. I didn’t plan for that, but I’m proud of the timing now😂 For my climate density and size were fine. Planted her a bit late. Withstood all weather conditions without shelter or special care, some mild pest infections. As it was a cutting I can't tell about original structure, but even the cutting looked like "from seed" with a nice christmas tree optic (with a little lst). Big buds stay as they are, smaller are going to be pressed or bubbled. ~7-10d drying ~1 month curing - update. Update for end of contest, some dry picture + 7 of x days curing. Already very sweet and fruity. (Nicer) Smellier than my other outdoors. 30g very fine buds and don't know how much trim + popcorn. Anyway .. harsh conditions + survivor + no mold. Most important properties for my outdoor location. 👌💪 Let it grow!😁

Got my growing tent finally.

Pretty happy with the results so far. Tried lollipopping a few of them. Also removed one from tent and placed outside possible fungi rusted leafs maybe cal mag?

So there they are fully blowing my tent! I got 90cm on the tallest one and wasn't prepared at all to deal with such height! The light were just at the 40cm distance limit from the tallest one and she doesn't look like is going to stop growing so I had to reorganize my setup to fit the light at a higher position. Even though the lights are right there with the filter I guess there's not much light being lost. The thrips seemed to started to get everywhere and I could spot one of then (several actually) for the first time and they are nasty. I bath the whole plant with more conditioner for a couple of times and I couldn't spot any today but I'm gonna take a closer look tomorrow as today was about lsting all the side branches to fill the mesh as better as possible. I'm pretty happy with the amount of good potential bud sites. They are several and pretty strong too! I'm guessing that except for some defoliation along the way that's the final shape of the plants. There's plenty of light getting to all important buds and even the lower ones are getting some decent light too (thanks @MarsHydro). I hope they stop stretching and getting those flowers big and chubby soon! Cheers

unfortunately I had trouble doing my LST and a branch broke while trying to fight against the tension. I changed my tent this week, the lamp and the Mars Hydro extractor convinced me that it was good gear so I took the tent in + 😀 Pulling all the branches with ropes is way too much work... I think I'll just pull the 2 main branches down and add a scrog net next week. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Water: tap water (280ppm). Welcome back for week 8 of life and the end of week 2 of flower. Busy week for these 3 ladies. In 16 days these girls have tripled in size. I switched to flower at 18 to 19in and 2 of these girls are slightly taller then 4ft. This strain is definitely has not stopped stretching sense the beginning. Topping and lst couldn’t keep them down. I try to keep an even canopy little over 3ft so I can avoid light problems but these girls are going to test my tent space and light. I added a video this week so everyone can see the difference compared to my other plant, which include 2 other royal queen seed strains. I’m couriers to see how buds will form on these girls. Definitely about 4 to 5in in between growth noobs. I don’t expect to see a large yield but that’s definitely my fault for not training a little to keep them more compact. Excited for the last 6 weeks of flower. Sink or swim at this point, but who doesn’t love a good challenge. Stay Tuned!

Vamos familia, actualizamos la cuarta semana de floración de estas Sagrada amnesia de Seedstockers, salieron las 5 de 5, 100% ratio éxito. Aplicamos varios productos de Agrobeta, que son increíbles para aportar una buena alimentación a las plantas. Temperatura y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos dentro de la etapa de floración. La tierra utilizada es al mix top crop, por cambiar. De 5 ejemplares seleccioné los 3 mejores para completar el indoor y trasplanté directamente a macetas de 7 litros, el fotoperiodo a 12/12, también aplique una buena poda de bajos, se ven bien sanas las plantas, tienen un buen color y progresan a muy buen ritmo por el momento, ya progresan las flores, llevan ya una tricomada… increíble. So here’s Week 2 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Auto’s grow. All in all an easy week but there has been time spent reinforcing a couple of the seedlings because they are so top heavy. I check in on my seedlings at least once a day (oftentimes 2-3 times daily) just to make sure that all equipment is functioning well and temps are stable. Upon looking into the windows of the tent I discovered that the smallest seedling (the one that lost one of it’s cotyledon leaves) was tipped right over. I gently supported her with a homemade splint (a tent peg/pipe cleaner combo- pictured above) and she’s currently standing on her own again. She’s still smaller than the others but surviving, not thriving for now. I used some fresh additional soil to fill in any gaps and pack down around the bases of the other three plants’ stems. Speaking of stems/stalks- the three healthy seedlings have peeling/stretching stalks and are starting to push out their first sets of branches. Other than that, same routine as always- watering every fourth day at 1.4 litres per watering or 0.35 of a litre per plant per day. I will be increasing the water sometime over week three. That’s it for now. Mom’s Tip for Week #2- Don’t Over Water! (when growing in soil of course)… When learning to read your plant’s needs, water is a very important factor to consider. I often notice other growers with tiny seedlings sitting in completely saturated pots of soil. Or read that many other growers don’t believe in placing newly sprouted seedlings into their final containers/pots. Both issues being easily resolved by simply paying close attention to your plant’s body language, it’s grow environment and sticking to a schedule. Cannabis truly thrives and benefits from a wet to almost fully dry watering cycle. From my own personal experience with photosensitive strains grown outside in the summer to growing autoflowers indoors through the fall, winter and spring- all of my Cannabis seems to do best when watered every 4th day like clockwork! This schedule is somewhat subjective of course depending on the environment that you are growing in. Here in Canada, much of our year is cool to cold and the humidity is relatively low. Because of this my plants are not always able to take in moisture from the air through their stomas so they suck up more water from what’s readily available in their pots. In other environments (ex. tropical), you may be able to stretch out this cycle- watering every 5-7 days because your plants are pulling so much water directly from the humidity in the air. And how you water your plants matters too. When starting out with newly sprouted seedlings placed into their final containers- less is more. There is no need to completely soak all of the soil in a 5-7 gallon pot. Simply start with a small amount (0.5-1 litre) directing the water to the base of the plant, working your way outwards in a circular pattern. As you increase the amount of water, I try to work my water outwards- making my circle slightly bigger each time I water until eventually I am soaking the soil surface all the way out to the edges of the pot. This process is gradual, stretched over a period of 4-6 weeks. It will encourage the roots to reach for water and allow your plants the time needed to grow into a heavy dose of H2O. Finally, learning to read your plant’s body language will help you to understand when they need and don’t need water as well as food, more/less light, temperature changes, etc. Healthy, well watered plants are generally light green with leaves slightly turned up towards the light/sun. They will be growing/thickening every day and able to support their own weight even in a very breezy environment. Leaves are soft and supple, not dry and brittle and there are usually no marks or discolouration of any kind on the foliage throughout your grow. Water quality is important too but that’s any entirely different tutorial for another time. Bountiful harvests are very possible by simply tweaking your watering schedule to suit your plants’ ultimate needs.

Hello Diary, The first week of vegetation on my small farm has ended and so far everything is going well. In order to better remember the arrangement of the plants, they are arranged alphabetically from left to right. On the left is Apollo, in the middle is the Milky Way and on the right is Titan. Milky Way F1 is developing and growing nicely. It grew 7 cm and I am generally satisfied. What worries me a little is discoloration, i.e. light spots on the leaves. I'm not sure about the cause, but maybe it's genetics. I will see and follow what happens. Watering was not frequent, considering the size of the pots, there is a lot of moisture in the ground, so I watered it every 5 days with a liter and a half of water. In the first week, I didn't add any supplements, considering that I mixed a lot of supplements into the soil. Conditions on the farm are satisfactory. The humidity is slightly higher than 50% and the temperature is around 25 degrees. The light is set to 18/6 from the first day of vegetation. I took pictures on the first and last day of the first week, just to see the difference in a week. Here's a quick recap of the week. 30/04/2023 - Day 1. Watering and photography. Officially, the first day of the growing season. Prepared 5 liters of water, lowered the pH. at 6.0 and with that amount watered the Milky Way F1 and its two roommates with about the same amount of water. Milky Way F1 - 4 cm 05/05/2023 - Day 6. Watering. The procedure is the same as 5 days earlier. 06/05/2023 - Day 7. Photography. End of the first week of vegetation.
