Gorilla Melon

TrickzCutz Today I checked the tent and saw that the Gorilla Melon had toppled over. I propped it back up with a wire, as that shouldn't cause her any problems.

TrickzCutz Topped to make space since my grow tent is only 40x40 cm. Now she can start developing new shoots.

TrickzCutz You can definitely remove the small yellow leaves at the bottom by now. Otherwise, she's doing great and the 4 main stems are at the same height.

TrickzCutz She has grown 2cm taller again, even though I want to keep her small. She will definitely explode when she gets repotted.

TrickzCutz The leaves are showing minor issues, but otherwise, she has handled the repotting well! The shoots are very purple at the top. Spraymix every 2 days.

TrickzCutz The one shoot that got damaged during training has already recovered super well. The roots have already reached the bottom of the pot. Yellow and blue sticky traps are set up.

TrickzCutz The Gorilla Melon is holding back on vertical growth again and has developed many lower shoots. To give the lower shoots a chance for the stretch, I removed the large fan leaves. I sprayed neem oil preventively because I saw a few friends. Spray mix every 2 days. Today, the light will also be switched to 12/12.

TrickzCutz She's still holding back with the stretch so far. But she has still spread out nicely in her quarter.

TrickzCutz I would have thought that the Gorilla Melon would stretch more, but it's actually growing quite compact. I'm still excited about the buds, though.

TrickzCutz Today was quite eventful. The already very bushy Gorilla Melon was defoliated and lollipopped today. I raised the SCROG net about 5 cm higher.

TrickzCutz So far, out of all 4 in the tent, this one is the frostiest. I'm curious to see where the Gorilla Melon will end up.

TrickzCutz Everything looks great. Very dark leaves. Because of that, you can really see the sugar on the leaves well. It's also completely covered in frost already.

TrickzCutz Very dark leaves. Very frosty buds. I'm slowly realizing that it's definitely not going to be a high-yielder. But wow, how many trichomes are visible!

TrickzCutz An absolute washer genetics. Every leaf is completely full of trichomes.

TrickzCutz An absolute trichome monster! I've rarely seen so much frost on a flower. The buds are also slowly developing to the final stage.

TrickzCutz It's just beautiful to see how the buds keep swelling and hardening. I last fertilized a week ago, and since then I've only been watering. No matter where I look, there are shimmering trichomes. The last week is now running, and every day I check the amber-colored trichomes. After that, I'll leave it in the dark for 2 days before hanging it up to dry.

TrickzCutz The Gorilla Melon has now been in complete darkness for 2 days and will be chopped today and hung up whole. I'm already curious to see how the buds will look once dried.
