Day 70 – Flower Week 1 (Flip on Day 67) This sister plant is showing the same scrog training and timing as the other, but with a slightly different personality. The canopy is a tight, lush mat of foliage, filling the net squarely from edge to edge. Multiple tops are pushing upward at a uniform height, and the first white pistils are starting to peek out—clear signs of early bloom. The leaves look strong and vibrant, a deep healthy green with minimal blemishes. Lower growth beneath the screen is shaded and beginning to fade slightly, which is expected as the plant channels energy toward the upper sites. Stretch after the flip is underway, but still controlled, helping to maintain the flat profile ideal for even light coverage.

Lots of pictures of the buds for the start of this week. Worried i might have bananas 😞 Decided to let this run it's course, removed a couple of bananas but no more came. i might have been lucky

As you can see, the Melonade Runtz hermied again... Mystery Made 2 also started but I already had the feeling this is going to happen, since everything inside this tent hermied. The first runs I threw in the trash (besides the one King's Juice survivor, you can see my diary on as well) but I now needed some weed and I had the little hope that MAYBE if I keep plugging the male parts off, that she eventually turns full female. I saw that in one of Hyperactive Highs videos and just gave full dedication into it, controlling every single day. I really spent hours into this but as you can also see, the Melonade Runtz was the frostiest out of the bunch, so I really didn't throw her away! On the bright sight: I managed to achieve quite an even canopy for now. They also shouldn't stretch too crazy from here on out

These beauties are shaping up nice. The frost on some of them is crazy how much there is on them. They're definitely getting close, I'd say a couple within the next few days. Looking forward to harvest some to make some rosin and hash. All in all Happy

I'm not sure if this will work well or not. But, I decided to scrog this plant out to help keep the height down and to give the inner and lower growth more chance to get some sunlight. I had an extra 5 foot long piece of pvc that I use to water it. Thank goodness for extra pieces! Yes, of course that's a homemade scrog net. It's not easy making a 5x6 net and keep it all tight. It's a bitch, it really is. It'll be about time to reammend the soil next weekend. That should be fun to reach in there. Super happy for long arms for that chore.

Good progress on her this week! Flowers plumping up. Pistils changing colour nicely. Still got a while to go yet.

Day 135 14/09/24 Saturday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with Plagron products. Day 137 16/09/24 Monday Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. She is seriously stacking now, zesty aroma with a fruity kick. Trichomes incoming 🤩 Picture and video update, ✌️😎 Day 138 17/09/24 Tuesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with Plagron products. El día 8 de de marzo se realizo el cambio de fotoperiodo a 12/12 Esta semana hemos notado un crecimiento explosivo y notorio de las variedades green gelato de RQS. Aun no tenemos la aparición de los primeros pistilos pero en si la planta ya formando sus ápices y buenas estructuras para las flores que están por venir. Chopped and drying in the mess rack, will update in about two weeks, with dry weight and smoke/flavor/high profile. She was a great plant to grow and I'm excited to smoke this strain! Update June 18, amazing smoke and flavor! Dry weight came in at 45.5 grams, 44 on th scale as I removed 1.5g for the smoke test. Blue Dream is impressive, great color in the buds, nice high to go along with it!

Here is the ugly duckling. She does not work, has suffered more from life in a pot and continues to get naughty with irrigation. I'm basically keeping her a little underwatered. She's under close observation. After the storm I will evaluate whether to fertilize. She's the strain in which I place the most expectations.
