Week 8 in the books! The aroma is getting stronger every day and the trichomes just keep multiplying - it's like they're on a mission Every time I open the tent, I feel like Alice in Wonderland, just standing there for ages admiring what nature can pull off. This strain has been super rewarding so far - the buds keep packing on size, and just when I think they've hit their limit, the next week they surprise me again! They're getting denser, stickier, and honestly, I couldn't be happier. I did run into a few hiccups with the root system in these later weeks, but the genetics stayed strong and pushed through like champs💪. The front-left lady looks a little ahead of the others - pistils and trichomes suggest she's racing toward the finish line. I'll probably start harvesting her this week. As always, any tips are more than welcome - and good luck to everyone else in bloom!🌸❄️🔝

Week 10 - Second Week of Flowering 🌸 As week two of flowering begins, the garden’s growth is unstoppable! These ladies are thriving, stretching up while staying beautifully vibrant and green. Every inch of this tent is optimized—each plant is soaking up light, nutrients, and water precisely as they need, filling the room with energy. Room Conditions 🌡️ • Temperature: 27.3°C • Humidity: 62.6% • CO₂ Levels: 800 ppm • VPD: 1.36 kPa (excellent range for robust flowering) • Lighting Intensity: 818 PPFD Solution & Medium 💧 • Solution Temp: 21.5°C | TDS: 470 ppm | pH: 6.02 • Medium: Moisture 100% (recently dried to 67%), TDS 510 ppm, Temp 22.5°C The “dry-out” to 67% was a strategic move, helping boost nutrient uptake and root strength. Meanwhile, our slight increase in reds seems to be having the desired effect, nudging these ladies further along in the flowering process. Eye Safety & LED Lighting 🌞🕶️ With powerful LED systems like the ThinkGrow and ICL-300, eye protection is critical. LED grow lights emit high-intensity light across the full spectrum, including intense UV and infrared components that are not easily detected by the human eye. Long-term exposure without adequate protection can lead to eye strain, and in extreme cases, damage to vision. • Blue Light Hazard: LEDs often have elevated levels of blue light, which can harm the retina over time if proper precautions aren’t taken. • UV Protection: Even low doses of UV can accumulate and harm eyes, so grow glasses with UV protection are essential for any indoor gardener. Investing in quality grow room glasses can help protect from glare, UV, and infrared rays, making plant care safer and more comfortable. Lighting Enhancements: ICL-300 In-Depth 🔆 The ICL-300 is our newest addition, specifically designed for inner canopy illumination. This LED offers a targeted light boost under the canopy, enhancing flower growth in lower and shaded areas—ideal for maximizing yield and light efficiency. • Dual Spectrum Technology: The ICL-300 provides a custom spectrum designed to penetrate deeper into the plant canopy, promoting robust bud formation throughout. • Enhanced Light Distribution: With strategically positioned diodes, the ICL-300 reduces shadowing and balances light distribution to all parts of the plant. • Energy Efficiency & Heat Management: This light is designed to be energy-efficient, running cooler and reducing the risk of heat stress within the grow space. The inner canopy light gives the plants exactly what they need, particularly during the flower stage when bud sites deep in the canopy can benefit from more direct exposure. However, after noticing slight leaf burn on some plants, I’ll hold off a bit longer before fully integrating this light to ensure optimal adjustment. Looking Forward 🌟 As we continue dialing in conditions, it’s all about balance, precision, and taking proactive steps to optimize every aspect of the grow environment. We’ll keep a close watch on the canopy height, and next week, I’ll aim to fine-tune the light integration even further with the ICL-300. She is lagging behind. I've been trying to grow an OG Kush for 3 seasons now. The first shipment I received they were all duds, the company sent out more seeds to replace those but the second shipment never arrived & now from a different breeder this one is a little droopy and sad.

She flowered very fast. The smaller ones smell different and have more shiny flowers very nice, it smelled very strong at the end, while trimming the buds a smell of fruit and gas spread trough the whole house

Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. Hello Growmies, As we wrap up the seventh week of our Epic Buzz cultivation, our tent is bustling with life, with each plant showcasing the fruits of our labor. The training techniques, including defoliation, lollipopping, and scrogging, have been executed to near perfection, allowing our plants to transition into the flowering phase with robust vigor. Epic Buzz #1 and #2, in particular, are the epitome of horticultural excellence, with their sturdy stems and lush foliage setting the standard in our green haven. This week marked a pivotal shift in our lighting strategy, as we nudged the PPFD values from a modest 250-350 up to an assertive 450-500. This increase is designed to optimize the light intensity during this critical phase of growth, catering to the heightened demands of our flowering beauties. Our nutrient regime has been meticulously fine-tuned to accommodate the changing needs of our Epic Buzz varieties. The switch from Alga Grow to Alga Bloom signifies our plants' transition from vegetative growth to flowering, ensuring they receive the ideal nutrient profile for bud development. This, paired with our steadfast mix of Sugar Royal, Power Roots, and Orca, is dispensed religiously every four days to maintain optimal health and vitality. The controlled conditions within the Tent-X continue to be monitored with precision, keeping the VPD levels within a desirable range, despite occasional deviations due to manual fan adjustments. However, the imminent arrival of the Prima Klima EC fan is set to revolutionize our environmental control, promising seamless day-to-night transitions and a well-deserved retirement for the Mars Hydro fan. I humbly seek the collective expertise of this community for guidance on integrating a 5-phased PWM motor with the TrolMaster controller. Dropped hours to 17 to get closer to the 15 we will have outside in a few weeks. A week of battles for this tent. Lotta pest activity. Bulb mites and Nematodes (never going to have regular perennial flowers and dahlia bulbs in the tent again), lessons learned. Active pest strategies tried: - listerine / water soak - Neem oil / water soak - Dr. Bronner soap / water soak - worm castings to boost balanced microbial life - insect Frass to provide chitin - diatomaceous earth top dress - mosquito Dunks prior to organic amendments to deal with any eggs/larvae in soil

It's blooming beautifully. It's been on automatic watering all week. A 5mm tube is attached to the roots. Currently, a 5-liter bottle lasts 2-3 days per plant. I'm thinking of installing a 15-liter canister so I can go at least a week without having to look at it. Currently, the 5-liter tank with the solution is pumped with oxygen by an aquarium aeration stone and a 2.5-watt Hailea pump (a powerful one, but that's the only one I had in stock).

- Day 38 Another watering day today! Gave her 1.25L of water containing bio-bloom, top-max, bio-heaven, acti-vera & alg-a-mic. I skipped bio-grow this time as some of the lower plant tips have become darker green and the tips starting twisting downards. I will stick to just 1ml/L next feedings. I'm religiously moving the LST stakes and adding new clips to allow more and more nodes to receive direct light in hopes that they as many as possible nodes become strong flowering sites. I'm not sure if constant adjustments like that will stunt the plant, but she seems to be doing good for now 🙏 Day 39 She still looking happy for now! I am loving see all the new nodes popup from the intensive LST'ing that I am doing, it's becoming an addiction almost 😝. I catch myself wanting to just check for 5 minutes how she's doing and I'll end up adjusting the stakes and clips for almost an hour every day. Day 41 Starting to really smell her now, so yummy! starting to get to the point that I barely have to adjust the LST'ing now as the branches are settling. Today was also another watering day. I upped the volume to 2 liters now (silica force, calmag, bio-grow, bio-bloom, top-max, alg-a-mic, acti-vera & bio-heaven) Day 42 Just letting her go now and doing minimal leaf tucking when needed. Loving the way she looks so bushy from the top. Day 43 Not much to report, she seems to be doing very good for now, just doing minor defoliation and leaf tucking for airflow and node lighting.

I have introduced a second bottle of CO2 to pump flowering weeks, I have cut off nutrients completely to get rid of nutes burn, plants are been fed PH water only. 🌱 Week 2 Report: The Journey Evolves 🌱 Grow Fam, the adventure is in full swing! 🌟 The Gorilla Melon from Fast Buds is out and shining its light, and the Papaya Zoap has made its debut in the Cannakan, bringing with it a story that adds even more depth to this incredible run. When the universe speaks, we listen. 🍈✨ I didn’t plan on popping Papaya Zoap from Sweet Seeds just yet, but sometimes things just have a way of aligning. After a few other seeds didn’t germinate, I felt an inner pull toward this special strain. As it turns out, the universe had something beautiful in mind! Just days later, my brother @daggadna also began germinating the same genetics—gifted to us during Spannabis. Was it a coincidence? I don’t think so. 🌱 This is more than just a grow now—it’s a journey with purpose, guided by synchronicity and connection. I can already feel the magic building up with this one, and I can’t wait to see where this road takes us! Gear Updates: All Systems Go 🚀 This week, everything’s dialed in perfectly with the TrolMaster system. Shout out to the incredible DSH-2U Humidity Station! 🌬️ This tool is giving me precision control over the RH (relative humidity) ranges in the room, keeping the environment just right for my babies. Having that accurate readout and control allows me to maintain optimal levels for each stage of growth. It’s like magic—you plug it in, set the desired ranges, and let it do its thing! 🌡️ By monitoring and adjusting humidity levels on-the-fly through the TrolMaster app, I can ensure the environment remains stable, and that means happier plants and healthier growth! No more guessing games. From anywhere—whether I’m working in the garden or chilling out—I can track and tweak it all. Heck, I could be on the toilet and still have complete control over my room! 😂 The AMP-3 Precision Meter has been running 24/7 in my water solution, giving me real-time updates so I can make any corrections when needed, right from my phone. This tech has taken my grow to another level. ✨ Nutrition Update: Keeping It Balanced 🍃 As for feeding, we’re sticking with the basics to give the plants what they need, without overloading. Right now, I’m running: • Regulator: 0.15ml/l • Startbooster: 0.25ml/l For now, I feel like this is the sweet spot—just enough to encourage root development and early growth without overloading them. Segunda semana de floración para nuestras #kriticalbilbo de @genehtik_seeds 🐷🌱🌺🍒. En esta semana aplicamos solo base de floración así preparamos nuestras plantas para la segunda dosis de #bigone de @topcrop 🕶️🤠. En las fotos se puede apreciar un ejemplar especial de la Kriticalbilbo, tenía un brazo creciendo al mismo tiempo del central sufrió un ataque gatuno y la dejó gravemente herida, gracias a la habilidad del jardinero se logró amarrar y salvar, ahora es la más hermosa de las #kriticalbilbo con más de 8 brazos engordando a full 🕶️🤠😁 Comentarios y sugerencias les leo siempre... 😇 Recuerden seguirme en instagram como @Cecilioeljardinero.

I apologize upfront for all the photos. It was hard to pick which ones to upload, so I picked a good variety. There is gonna be between 4-6 pounds once dried/cured. These were all super dense and very little larf. This was a higher temp/higher humidity run with lots of co2 and they blew up big. It’s been a minute since I’ve grown a cola or 2 that were bigger than my arm…this time there was dozens of them. Each plant was only topped one time. The temps were usually mid 80’s and humidity in the mid 60’s during flower. This might seem high to some, but learning to apply VPD to a grow should not be trial and error, in other words, this was intentional. It’s not risky either. During the first 6 to 7 weeks of flower it is very important to not let your night time temps to go below 75 degrees. POWDERY MILDEW=LOW TEMPS AND HIGH HUMIDITY. Take one of these away and there will not be any powdery mildew! Do not let your temps go below 75! The last 2 weeks I dropped the humidity to 40% and my night temps to mid 60’s for resin production. A couple of thing one should have to create large buds is a temperature gun(for leaf temp), a par meter and co2. Keep the stomata open and feed lots of co2=huge buds. Learn about VPD and not just a quick google search! When it’s dry and cured I’ll be back for an update on weight, taste and effects. Currently the plants are drying in the room at 60 degrees and 60% humidity until I can get in there to trim them. Might be 2-3 weeks. Thanks again for all the likes and comments!

1 week from switching to 1212. Plant looks good and deserved defoliation with little banding. Looks amazing! Watering with 1 liter of water in 2 days.
