Harvest & Trim Report — RollerCoaster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) Overview We’ve reached the end of the RollerCoaster Haze ride. After an intense and rewarding flowering period, the girls were harvested and processed with care. This is a full documentation of the final stage: harvest timing, drying method, trimming workflow, kief collection and pressing, and final yields. This harvest produced excellent results from two phenotypes — a true tribute to the genetics and the ecosystem we built around them. Final dry yields: • Pheno #3: 138 g (dry, trimmed bud) • Pheno #2: 224 g (dry, trimmed bud) Total dry bud: 362 g We also collected kief and pressed it into a beautiful resinous hash using heat and pressure; this sits alongside the cured flower and will be part of the upcoming smoke review. ⸻ Harvest Timing & Rationale The decision to harvest was made after careful observation of trichome and pistil development, the overall fade, aroma intensity, and the plants’ finish-line behaviour. The last weeks of the run had been dedicated to ripening: we completed the last balanced feed, then transitioned to plain water and a spectral end-season program (reduced whites/blues, elevated red/far-red/UV). These cues — combined with visible trichome development and the natural fade in the canopy — indicated the plants were ready to come down. ⸻ Cutting & Whole-Plant Drying • Each plant was cut whole and hung to dry intact. • Drying duration: two weeks (full-plant hang), at the environment you maintained (consistent conditions around your final stage set point). This allowed a controlled, gradual loss of moisture and preserved aromatic compounds and trichome integrity. • Drying environment was monitored and managed with the same attention as the grow: consistent airflow, humidity control and gentle circulation to avoid hotspots while preventing too rapid desiccation. (Notes: this section is a narrative of what i did. For clarity on local rules and safety, always follow local regulations and recommended practices.) ⸻ Trimming Workflow • After the two-week hang, the plants were moved to a dedicated trimming area and placed in the trim bin for processing. • Trimming method: primarily hand trim, using delicate, precise trimming tools and patience — “delicatessen and love” as i put it. The emphasis was on preserving trichome-rich surfaces while shaping each bud for appearance and even curing. • Hand trimming allowed you to selectively manicure the buds, remove the remaining larger fans, and leave the finished colas in a state ideal for curing and later consumption. The results were clean, visually appealing buds with intact resin heads. ⸻ Curing & Storage • Trimmed buds were carefully placed into Grove Bags for the finish of the cure. The Grove Bags are being used as the controlled environment for the slow biochemical processes that refine aroma, smoothness, and terpene expression. • The plan is to allow the flower to finish its cure under stable conditions until ready for the smoke review. This prolonged, stable cure should bring out the nuanced haze profile the genetics promise. ⸻ Kief Collection & Resin Press • While trimming, kief was collected from the trim and from screens. The kief was then pressed into a concentrated resin/hash using heat and pressure. • The result is a solid, aromatic hash — glossy and packed with the strain’s signature terpenes — a beautiful secondary product from the harvest and a perfect complement to the flower in the smoke review. ⸻ Sensory & Quality Notes • Aroma: intensely hazy — a dominant hay-sweet note with mature, layered complexity. The smell in the drying/trim room was strong and very characteristic of a classic haze. • Appearance: colors trending golden to warm yellow tones, heavy frosting of trichomes, dense calyxes and robust colas. The buds visually convey potency and quality. • Structure: each phenotype expressed the haze identity; long internodes on some branches, dense stacking on others — overall excellent structure that translated into heavy colas and great yields. ⸻ Recap: Seed → Harvest at a Glance • Germination: pillbox water method; seeds cracked and into soil within 48 hours. Gentle Aptus start mix supported early vigor. • Vegetative: bottom-watering to promote downward root growth; transplanted and vegged with controlled training and canopy management. • Flower: early flip to 11/13; progressive nutrition with Aptus + Plagron mix; inner canopy lighting (ICL300) to support middle/low bud development; spectrum tuning (red/far-red/UV) toward the end of flower. Final flush and plain water to finish. • Harvest: judged by trichome and pistil maturity, aroma, and overall plant condition. Whole-plant hang for two weeks, then hand-trimmed and cured in Grove Bags. Lichtwechsel wenn die runtz 4 Wochen alt ist, bzw die Cookies gelato 6 Wochen alt ist. Tag 50 Lichtwechsel? Quelle YouTube Video 12. November. Cookies gelato hat an den beiden oberen Mains neue mainlinefrisur bekommen. Die unteren Mains haben noch alles behalten dürfen. Das topping steht bald an. Tropimango reagiert gut auf LST. Blätter weiterhin noch krank, allerdings nicht mehr so dramatisch Die Runtz wächst und macht ihr Ding. Die wachstumsphase hat nun sicher begonnen: Stiel wird hölzern. Runtz wurde getoppt. (Vor einem Monat +1 ist die Cookie und die Tropimango zum keimen gelegt worden) 13. November Runtz wirkt gestresst und stagniert im Wachstum wegen des toppings. Besprühen mit Eisen hat sie auch aus der Ruhe gebracht. Tropimango wächst. Immer noch kranke Blätter vorhanden, aber wenige. Cookies gelato wächst. 14. November Die runtz wächst wieder!! Eventuell ist mir unfreiwillig ein fimming schnitt gelungen? Tropimango und gelato auch alles wie bisher. Begleitpflanzen (weißklee&Kerbel) hinzugefügt Cookies gelato ist 30 Tage alt Tropimango ist 27 Tage alt Runtz ist 16 Tage alt 15. November Cookies gelato wurde zum zweiten Mal getopt an allen Trieben. Sie wird’s schon wegstecken 16. November Topping gut überstanden. 👍 sind jetzt 8 Mains. Wachstum fühlt sich jetzt mega langsam an. Aber ich bin auch ungeduldig af 😅 Tropimango weiterhin kranke Blätter. Hab leider keine Idee woran es liegen könnte. Runtz scheint tatsächlich neue Triebe an der schnittstelle zu entwickeln 🎉🤝. Archivement unlocked. Ich kann jetzt den fim schnitt.🤝💪 Alle drei Pflanzen haben ordentlich Wasser bekommen. 17. November Habe feststellen können, dass der Wasserbedarf doch deutlich höher war als ich vermutet hatte. Alle drei reagieren sehr positiv auf die erhöhte Menge Wasser. 🚿 Ich hätte wohl großzügiger sein dürfen in den vergangenen Tagen. Habe der Cookies gelato einen Edgar mit taperfade geschnitten (Mainlining). Eventuell habe ich an den unteren beiden unteren Mains ein Blatt Zuviel abgeschnitten? Ich werd’s im verlaufe der nächsten Tage sehen. Der unfreiwillige fimming schnitt bei der Runtz war wohl „unsauber“. Einer der beiden Triebe ist dominanter als der andere. Vermutlich liegt es am schrägen Schnitt. Tropimango macht tropimangosachen. Weiterhin mit kranken Blättern. 🤝.

Week 9 of veg (13/01-20/01) There is not much happened at the beginning of the week, but as we progressed, ideas popped up. As I have already seen the importance of the enzymes in your diaries fellow-growers , I also took it into the irrigation scheme.(1ml/l) Together with some freeze-dried culture of microorganisms. These bacteria transform organic waste into re-uptakeable nutrients for the plants and it stimulates growth.🌱 End of the week i did a last big defo and was pruning almost all of the lower branches and leaves. I have a plan to flip slowly to bloom during this week(i know i told the same last week but it didn’t work). Watered twice a week with de-chlorinated water 1,7l/plant on full feeding schedule. Light intensity is 65% at the moment. I can’t wait to see the Sisters bloom.🌞🗽

I put it in a glass of water , later I will transfer it to paper towels . as practice shows , the method is working . It's not the first time I've used it. the main thing is to squeeze a towel well, so that the seeds do not rot. temperature 24-26 humidity around 60%

Welcome to week 9 / week 6 of flowering! Her fall colors are in full force now. 🍁 Most pistils have turned amber. Some trichomes have also turned amber, but mostly cloudy still. Harvest time is getting close! 🤗 ✅Day 57: No water. Trimmed off a few dead leaves. ✅Day 58: 144oz of water. No runoff. ✅Day 59: No water. ✅Day 60: No water. ✅Day 61: No water. ✅Day 62: 128oz of water. No runoff. Took a quick look at trichomes. They are still mostly cloudy. ✅Day 63: No water.

It’s been hot out. A perfect time to dry buds. I love when it’s super hot or super cold when it’s time to dry buds. When it’s hot the ac makes the humidity nice and low and when it’s really cold out the heater makes the humidity nice and low

11/30: I harvested the first 6 today, flushed 5 more for the second time, and fed everybody else for the last time. I washed all the branches using the 4-step method ascribed by Doc Bud at High Times/420magazine and many other notable cannabis connoisseurs, with slight modifications: 4 x big plastic totes/bins 8 x ounces of 12% hydrogen peroxide (or 32 ounces of 3%) 2 x cups of concentrated lemon juice 2 x cups of baking soda 10 x gallons of water in each bin Unless your tap water stinks, you're safe to use tap water for the procedure, but I used an inline carbon hose filter to fill my buckets. Bin #1 - 10 gallons of water mixed with the hydrogen peroxide Bin #2 - 10 gallons of water mixed with the lemon juice and baking soda Bin #3 - 10 gallons of water as hot tap water Bin #4 - 10 gallons of cold tap water I was mainly concerned about removing as much lint and cat/dog hair as possible, but also rinsing off any residue left from all the various foliar applications of humic/fulvic acid, kelp, axiom, big bloom, and tiger bloom I did. First, I put my leaf blower on low speed and blasted my plants thoroughly, one at a time, replicating 50-60mph winds for about 10 seconds and watched as a whirlwind of debris and hair flew out the back door. Bud-washing: Pluck any necrotic plant material and any old fan leaves off while they're still on the plant. Then, take a handful of branches and submerge them in Bin #1 for about 30 seconds, agitating it, removing from water, submerging again, agitating, etc...then remove it and let it drip out for a few seconds...then repeat the process with Bins #2-4. Let it drip dry overnight with a little bit of airflow, then dry as you normally would...baskets, boxes, etc.. I hadn't watered these plants in a few days, so they were almost in draught, but after doing this procedure, they were fully hydrated(turgid) and seemed to have brighter colors than before. Nice!😍 12/1: The bottom part of the closet seems empty with only 9 plants in there.. 😟 I cut the harvested plants up and put them into drying baskets in the top of my closet with a small oscillating fan on. I've got the temperature fluctuating between 68f and 75f and the RH is staying between 48% and 52%. To do that, I had to take down the small light in the top of the closet to fit the drying baskets up there. So, I moved the 3 shorter plants still up there down to the bottom and put them on top of buckets. Now the bottom of the closet looks full again!😃 I'm anxious to finish up this grow so I can get busy growing the Fastbuds Fast Flowering Photo Testers!!! When I harvest the next 5, I'll flush the remaining plants really well and that will be all the flushing they'll get..I'll let them dry back out for a few days and harvest them. I've got to make some minor improvements to the garden (adding UV, blue and red/far red booster panels and intake fans) That should put me on track to start germinating them by mid-December if all goes well. 12/3: ...early a.m... The harvested plants are already dry!?!?? And have excellent texture??? Wow..bud washing is for real..roughly 48 hours after I hung them to drip dry, and 40 hours after I put them in baskets in 50% RH/70f conditions with moderate airflow...usually takes 4 or 5 days to get a good slow-dry in the same conditions, so I'm convinced that this must be attributed to the bud-washing procedure. I'm sold! Here's the talley so far: plant #1 - 115g (plus 13g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] plant #2 - 108g (plus 18g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] plant #3 - 119g (plus 15g larf) - C4ndycaine [Candy Cane x C4] plant #4 -  92g (plus 6g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] - the smallest plant in the main area plant #5 - 112g (plus 22g larf) - Candesia [Candy Cane x Amnesia] plant #6 -  75g (no larf) - Candesia [Candy Cane x Amnesia] - grown in upper area under 200w ...afternoon: I flushed 6 of the last 7 plants for the first time today and harvested 4 more of them. I washed them and hung them to dry.....my dripping wet bathing beauties!😍

Well, this is certainly a special strain. MASSIVE colas and rock hard nugs combined with an earthy flavor is an instant winner in my books. 124 dried and cured grams from one plant in a 3 gallon hand watered soiless mix, so this genetic definitely has the potential for more greatness. Smoking on this now and it is a smooth smoke with a relaxing and uplifting body feel to it. A long lasting stone and a very pungent smell. Fastbuds did a great job on this product.

Out of the 4 seeds only the gnarly taproot made it successfully. It is growing visually more and more everyday and soon I will investigate other two seeds that didn’t germinate and make this a one plant operation.

Not doing too bad. Seems to have settled now and stopped stretching, Smells pretty peppery, like a tangy pepper haha Start her on PK warrior next week see how she does. She's got the sumo booost foliar as well as root feed this week. All healthy though she's loving the shogun stuff 👌🏻

Vamos familia, actualizamos la sexta semana de floración de estas Gelato 44 de RoyalQueenSeeds. La temperatura que estuvo entre los 24-26 grados y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos. En cuanto a las plantas las veo verde sano, estiraron bien y ensancharon bastante también. Se nota que los nutrientes de la marca Agrobeta cubre todas las necesidades de cada ejemplar, empecé añadir el mega pk y el Thor. Hay que reivindicar que en este armario no tengo trips ni plagas. Las flores empezaron a engordar, por el momento todo correcto, os dejé también alguna novedad y un cambio en la sala, agradecer al equipo de Mars hydro por el nuevo TSW2000. I will change their pot size because i saw root coming out of bottom of the pots and this is a good sign for me 🏼 Next 3 months in veg can bring me lits of new branches 😁 Who grow plants in hot climates should use silicon . I used it and I confirmed it helps plants

July 12: Tropicana Cookies FF is doing fine. One more week of veg and will start force flowering on July 19. July 13: used barley instead of malted barley a few days ago as a flowering nutrient. Barley is sprouting so i replaced it with malted barley. Malted Barley (malt) is great as a bloom nutrient. Google Clackamas Coot talking about barley and cannabis growing.
