Vortex Cold AF! We have been trying to balance RH and temperature inside the tent during this winter. The dam furnace in the space is a few feet away, RH is 18 in the room, an open window helped cool off the temps - but was able to maintain a decent humidity level using 4 gallon wick humidifier. Que pasa familia, vamos con la segunda semana de floración de estas Barcelona Puff feminizadas de Seedstockers. Vamos al lío ,se trasplantaron en macetas de 7 litros definitivamente. El ph se controla en 6.0 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 24/20 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de floración puse 12h de luz, el foco está al 50% de potencia. De momento van creciendo a buen ritmo y tienen un buen color, estaban muy bien enraizadas al realizarle el trasplante se notaba la abundancia radicular. E de comentar que están con un pequeño estrés hídrico por baja temperatura pero estoy al tanto, a ver si recuperamos rápido. Hola gente! Esta semana recien comence con fertilizante de crecimiento, comence a ver los brotes nuevos muy amarillentos asi que le meti un poco de ferti. Van super bien creo yo, les hice corte apical a alas 3 al día 33 de vegetación, la #1 es la que mas me gusta hasta el momento, #2 tiene mucho espacio internodal para mi gusto pero igual va bien. Estan empezando a generar olor, como a menta al tocar las hojas, me gusta!

Flushed 20 gallons through the growing medium today, in preparation for harvest! I'm 100% sure she was nutrient-locked, PH of the run-off was around 4.5. From now on, I will pay greater attention to the Run-off PH, when my plants shows symptoms. Lesson learned! If I corrected her earlier, her potential would have been much greater! After the flush, the run-off has: ppm is at 80, and PH is 6.

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

Beginning of week 8. Cutting down the feed strength by half before going full flush mode week 9+. Starting to look at tricnome color to determine final day to cut. How long do you flush with rockwool?
