3rd time trying to write this diary entry and maybe if grow diaries feels like it you will be able to read this entry... [rant over] What a great week all 3 skywalkers are growing well, a lot of pistils and the first trichomes are already popping out. No sign of stress after pulling the ScrOG at the start of the week. I kept an eye for hermies and no sign of it. To the nutrients Plagron's Green Sensation and Power Buds have been added, I keep it at 1ml/L as recommended. The past week I fed 3times with nutrients and in between about 1L Water/plant.

Started this week off strong. Decided to switch out the extra Grow Big for extra Tiger Bloom since it’s a lower concentration on N and higher P. New growth is a good color and no tip burning. Raised the lights and turned them up to 100% for the rest of flower. Sour Kush is starting to stink up the tent! NCH is looking like she wants to finish soon, but buds haven’t fattened up and trichomes are still a mixture of clear/milky. Feed pH 6.2, EC 1.8. Water pH 6.3, EC 0.8.

Day 36 LST complete yesterday, side branches are tied down For this plant, I am letting it grow straight up like I grew Fastbuds Bruce Banner This looks very much like Bruce Banner which is very exciting because Bruce Banner still remains tied with Pineapple Express for the most face melting autos ive ever grown PPM are very low, I will be only tripart, there is enough Silicate sediment, and Cal Mag in the pool, leafs are very green The plant is showing its female sex organs, and is approaching the flowering stage Day 37 Expansive growth everywhere The pool will be changed tomorro for pre-flowering nutrients Day 38 Pre-flowering nutrients are installed, all is looking well posted a video for the week her leaves are very thick and mature. The leaves on the stem, the large fan leafs, have the hardest stems ive felt on an autoflower. This is certainly a new generation of Autos from 2 years ago, the smell is becoming very nice Day 39 I removed some more bottom brush from the plant, all those runt limbs that will only be larf are gone. I also removed one of the first limbs that was a runt. This strain loves to be pruned, this is its 2nd bottom clear out and she always comes back with so much growth, now the top colas can all form nicely without the bottom waste DWC very healthy, she is drinking about 3 litres a day right now I am using a 1/2 strength pre-flower blend. It's the TA bottle measurements just cut in half. Ive purposely not let this one go above 800ppm due to Fastbuds advice that this one is particularly sensitive to nutrients. Day 40 Growth explosion, everywhere has expanded The leafs are very mature, slender Sativa traits Uploaded some macro shots of the preflowers, they are very healthy Day 41 Everything is going well, she is growing fast Day 42 Huge increase in growth overnight, and she is drinking about 3 litres a day right now This is thepreflower stretch phase

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. I enjoyed this plant a lot, its grew well and loved how it was shorter and fatter. I wonder if it was at the dame distance from the plant if It could have done even more. Had some issues with the yellowing that was happening on the other plant in this tent. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and it may have hurt the yields a bit. The top best looking buds looked and smelled amazing even the lower buds where doing well not so larfy like the other plant. There was crazy strong smells with this plant, sour berries and hints of lemon, it was a best smelling plant I have grown to date. This would be a great plant to grow for beginners, cant take a lot of stress and still produces quite well and even on lower wattage leds it was good. It was not the most crystally looking plant, not like the maltezerz but still had some finger hash buildup but a small amount. I feel this plant would be a winner for a rosin press. I don't plan on growing this strain out again despite me liking a lot of qualities about it. I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. Only some of the lower growth is larfy, will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = .46kw * 0.15kw = .17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = .99kw *0.15kw = .85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = 4.30kw *0.15kw = .65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. .17 + .85 + .65 = .67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. .67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 4.57oz or 129.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷ 129.6g = 2.60 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. .67 ÷ 129.6g = 0.28c/g It cost 28c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. It’s been 7 days and one of my amnesia hazes is getting yellowish spots on it not 100% sure what’s the issue im going assume it’s too much water? Confused cause the other have same soil and every same amount of water and don’t have those issues I have the light right now about 1.5 ft away from the plants moved the light down I felt like they was stretching and becoming real skinny been keeping the temp about 75 and humidity somewhere around the 60% also I used fishshit today in the watering hopefully that’s helps The sour diesel I’m pretty sure I dropped the seed to deep my mistake so I removed a little soil until I seen top of it and now it’s looking like it might make it it just a little behind the amnesia haze The two in red solo cups (black Truffles) are growing pretty fast looking bit better then the amnesia haze and I found them seeds lol anyway if you looking and see anything that could help (Please do!!!) also if your using ac Infinity controller 69 I need help!!! Today the first time I messed with it to make make the 18/6 schedule and not 100% sure if I did it right yet I wanted to make it on 5am-11pm off the other 6 I had it on 24/7 all last week and not sure is that caused the yellowing or not I doubt it but I’m NEW and I’m not sure I’m a YouTube university grad 😂😂 But yea thanks for looking and I’ll try to post more day D14

This week was good did some defoliation and training to get some more growth out of side branches turn dem to crown......the baby that's in full flower is fatten up don't kno how much more fatter she will get jus have to wait and see...until then happy growing

I'm gonna jump right in..👨‍🌾 The high stress technique I have used a couple days ago called super cropping, I (tried more or less) to keep the canopy under control and more even. This also allow lower bud sites to rise to the top and slow down the 'stretching'. 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌞🌞🌞🌞 The trade in doing it at this stage, is that the plant is also focusing more on healing the stems instead of total focus on the buds. But I'm probably early enough in the flower stage they will make it up by having more strong stems in the end. That's because the points they are broken now are gonna heal back more strong.💪💪💪 I've added some nutrients to help them heal. Aptus is working great with my organic soil👍😎💚 🌊💦 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞 As you maybe have seen I've added some extra lights. This are Mars Hydro's new Adlite's. Here is some info about them in my own words.👨‍🌾 -IR 15, is a infrared light that is promoting extra photosynthesis. Basically long wave length of lights that will penetrate leaves and hit the stems, so the idea is stems will be more strong and be able to carry bigger buds. -UV 30, is a ultraviolet light that will try to mimic the radiation that comes of the sun. A little explanation about what this does to the plant in nature is that the plant will make it's own sunblock oil in the form of trichomes. So by adding this light the idea is that the plant is gonna work more to block this 'radiation'. -Deep Red 30, is like the title maybe already explained a red light booster. In nature the spectrum of the sun changes with the season, so it's easy to explain the sun will get more intense and contains more red in the summer. The wavelength of red is also pretty long like the 'infrared' these will sometimes penetrate leaves and hit stems and lower buds. The idea is more photosynthesis.

Not much to say at the minute but Candyman is looking happy, I really hope they are female now 🤞🏻 added a small amount of Nutrients and already seems to be loving it and getting bigger daily 😍

08.10.2020 start 12 day flash

Day 19-26 (May 10th - May 17th) (Day 21) Stretch is almost over and the plants still look like they’re in veg. I’m seeing almost zero trichomes and when compared to my other room it’s laughable. At least the sites are starting to fill in a little. One plant is super leggy and stretchy. I’m guessing it’s Jack Herer but won’t know until late flower or harvest. The plant in the far left corner has great structure and thick pistil clumps. I’m guessing it’s either blueberry or the white og. Blueberry has a pretty distinct smell so differentiating all the strains won’t be that hard actually. (Day 24) I’ve been rearranging the plants once in a while just to get all sides exposed to some decent light. I never realized how much I value my LED until this run. The only way I would ever use another hps for flower is if it was one of those 1000w DE lights that all the commercial grows use. Sites are starting to fill in quite a bit now. Trichomes are still non existent though. Even on the archive genetics which is really surprising. (Day 25) Pots somewhat dried out finally. Tomorrow I’m going to leach everything with another 2 liters each and top dress with 15ml of nature’s pride bloom, 10ml of Destiny launch and 5ml of kelp meal. I’m starting to see minor N tox on some of the plants so I will probably give them a full gallon. This tent is largely experimental so I’m going to fuck with these plants pretty heavy to iron out some theories and try some new techniques. (Day 26) When I was watering today I noticed that slurricane, Puro loco and guava cake all hermed. The archives just got too stressed out in early veg I think. When I dug up both plants they were still being choked out by the sponge aerogarden plugs. Puro Loco was leading by far in the trichome department too. The guava cake was from a hermed bagseed so it’s not surprising at all but that kind of pisses me off about the “elite” Archive genetics, especially if you paid 200$ for a 10 pack. Then again, it was still my error and not their genetics. Luckily I didn’t pay a dime for them. Running those was a complete waste of time and space. With proper environment and no seedling stress I’m sure I could have grown some amazing looking stuff. All the European and Canadian genes look fine though. I’m sure they would have filled out a lot more if they weren’t being choked out by hermies. No signs of bananas anywhere else. Hopefully the 4 slurricanes I have outdoor this year will pull through without herming.
