A couple of problems arose with my two newest grows so I thoroughly checked the compost pot and looked if the worms were okay. After harvesting the GDP, I wanted to throw out her soil. It had been used two runs and I have no place to reuse it outside. Did my best and sifted through the dirt looking for her worms. Found only six 😔. Four adults and two adolescents who were just getting their red color in. This was not a good sign. The worms were obviously not reproducing enough to keep up a colony, and that was most likely due to the soil ph. Don't have the instrument to measure it, but as my ph meter was broke the past two weeks.... 😅😅 Time to check in on the Vermicompost and see if they are still 'grinding'. ----------------------------------- April 17 Last picture I have of her soil structure. ----------------------------------- April 23 Took that thing apart!! It must have took 3 hours to sift through all the soil, rip up bark coco and what not. sift out the worms and keep them moist, but it was finished. I don't know how many worms there are but it's a good handful. About the same amount I put in there in the beginning. There were also perhaps 20 or so eggs that caught my eye. These are good signs! After the manhandled soil was put into an other pot, I drowned her with 12L of dechlorinated tapwater (thanks to Envi Chlorine Clear!!). BioDown to 6.3 ph + 0.2g/L Microbes. I don't know how many liters of water ran off, but that soil is definitely at 6.3 now... .. and the sewage pipes might be clogged 😅😇😂 Let the pot set to dry, at a tilt. Changed position every 5 minutes or so, about 2 hours long. Hopefully all the excess water is out! Introduced the Army of Wiggles to their new accommodations and said good night. There are probably still remnants of BioBizz nutrients in the soil, and I'm too lazy to flush again. Won't start her on the new microbial food until I'm sure the Living take hold of this environment. Coming from a possible 7.5 down to 6.3ph might be an adjustment. After a week of super stretch to today 52 centimeters which crashes the 100% growth mark finally bud sites became clearly visible. Now for the final phase. Water intake is massive. When I upped to 2.5l per plant per 2 days from before 1.5l I saw zero difference in how fast the soil went dry etc. The plants stopped transpiring as much such that my humidity came a bit down. I was up to 60% at some times during the day. But it’s down to 50-55 again. Depends a bit on how often I vent the room. Gotta have to have a final stress point which is that I might have too move. Will share some pictures of how I’ll pull it off. Stay tuned.

Harvest Plants #2 and #3 were harvested last weekend. Further holding was unnecessary as seeds had already reached full maturity. Seed Development Seeds are fully matured and ready for further processing. Next Step Seeds are now being sent to stratification (storage & conditioning phase). Result The grow cycle is officially completed. The genetic pool has been successfully expanded, providing solid material for future selection and testing.

Going well

Hey growmies, It’s been 31 days since flipping to flower, my tent is filled with buds. I think I managed to recover this plant, if you look back to week 10 and 11 you can see this plant was struggling, losing her dark green colour and yellowing. I raised my lights, getting PPFD from 1100 down to 850, I have also started feeding organic nutrients. The organic nutrients alone will feed my plants, but my soil needed a recharge, too. I suspect a lot of the soil bacteria started dying back, so to try and replenish the ranks I topdressed with worm castings, and created a compost tea using molasses and organic worm castings. Neem oil was not enough to get rid of the few thrips I had, so I opted for Spinosad, an organic bioinsecticide which is derived from the fermentation juices of a soil bacterium called Saccharopolyspora spinosa I decided spinosad was the best option because it’s organic and safe to spray in flower, neem oil can’t go on flowers, reducing its effectiveness. After just one dose of spinosad applied in a foliar spray, My garden is pest free, and it looks like the tea and organic fertiliser is also getting color back into my plant. The smell so far is mainly skunk, no oranges (yet) but it's clear this run is back on track. The trichomes are okay, I've had frostier strains, I can still see new calyxes growing, so she's definitely still putting on more weight, it might be to early to call anything I also included some pictures of the clones, they really show what a difference ScrOGging makes, since the clones were topped once and let to grow naturally

End of week 2. Plants need some trimming and defoliation under the canopy. They have finished the flowering stretch and are focusing energy on bud sites

What a fun run this was ! These Ogreberrys finished up from 81 days to 102 days with nice hints of gassy , sour purple , sweetness and glistening with frost! These ladies will cure up for a month an will be ready to test out ! So much fun , I highly recommend this strain if your looking for some oooy gooohy resiny grape smelling nugs !

Day 28 of flower and I’m very happy with these two ladies atm. In both vids, you can tell which one will have the fatter nuggs. The plant in the first vid, was transplanted into Fox Farm Ocean Soil and the other was not. I can tell you right now, your grow medium definitely makes or breaks your grow. I will be using FF as medium of choice from here on out. Not much else to say other than they’re done stretching and are starting to fattening up every day. Got a little over 40 days left until it’s harvest time. 42 to be exact! But I’ll catch yall on the next update ✌️🏾

I picked up a Quantum PAR Meter, very happy!😁 PAR Meter will show me how much useful radiation between 4-700nm the plant is getting from any given direction. Very happy so far. Been growing nicely. Topped mid week and will be adding in some tie down spots in the coming week for some LST. Daily checks for PH keeping it just about at 5.7 the entire week.
