Less is more. Lesson learned. Without training these plants, having the fifth plant has really cramped the tent. Because I have limited space for the tent, access into the sides isn't possible. I have only the front entrance. Next time I think I will stick yo maybe three strains that have been positive and try and find the time to train more. The WOS-Northern/Skunk has grown out so nicely into a Xmas tree type of posture. She is making her really good friends with her neighbours, perhaps to their detriment. Seedsman Blueberry continues to be solid and unphased by anything. This is the first time I have smelled a plant that has such a fruity aroma. It really took me aback in surprise. Very cool. HiFi 4G needs support. Did a McGyver solution for the time being. Doesn't appear to have bulked up much this week. Jack is about the same. A bit of bulk up but not expecting this one to be a big yielder. Appears healthy overall so I'm happy. CBD+ bulked up for sure on the main cola's. I'm skeptical she will be done at 60 days at this point....but have to trust what Dinafem are telling me. Be safe folks.

This plant was the first of the 4 to come up, it also basically exploded out of the shell in the germination process. While she was still in water I could already see green leaves lol. She’s really plugging along. This is a cross made by a friend of mine and is the first time it’s being grown.

Nutrition change today: 15ml Micro 15ml Gro 15ml Bloom in 3gal. tank Stepped-up to mild vegitative growth. Seedling is looking healthier and stronger every day.

The bruccies are continuing to mature, they are probably going to get harvested sometime in the next week. One has been on flush mode for about 5 days now, going to give it another 3 or 4. About to start the other one on flush once most pistils are orange. They are both chugging about 6 gallons each per week.

She's doing her thing this week. I'm keeping her watered approx 50ml/day.

Now, let’s dive deep into the SCROG method. The Screen of Green (SCROG) technique is a grower’s secret weapon for maximizing space, light efficiency, and yields. The concept is simple but powerful—train the plants to grow horizontally along the net, forcing them to expose multiple budding sites instead of just a single cola. This way, the canopy spreads evenly, improving light distribution and air circulation throughout the tent. As the plants grow, I’ll gently weave their branches through the screen, ensuring they fill every square inch of space. The end goal? A sea of buds all basking in equal light! 💪 Huge Leafs Everywhere! 🌿 One thing that’s really catching my eye this week is the size of the leaves—they’re HUGE! Honestly, they’re so big I couldn’t resist a little fun, so I made myself some fashion accessories: leaf earrings and a cap from the Super Sativa Seed Club Green Papaya! 😂 And, of course, I captured the moment. Using the AMP-3 Precision Meter, I’m getting real-time water readings and keeping everything dialed in perfectly. Let’s break it down: • pH: 5.83 • TDS in solution: 445 ppm • Water temperature: 25.2°C The Aptus products are incredible for balancing nutrients without throwing off the pH or TDS too much. I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent. Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either. I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios. The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure. When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?

Along with the 1 ml/L of the all-in-one liquid, this brings the TDS up to 320 ppm, with a pH of 5.99 and solution temperature of 24.8°C. In the soil, readings are around 415 ppm, with temperatures hovering around 25°C The plants are absolutely thriving, and I can already see the difference this new feed is making. I can’t help but have a bit of fun with this process—it feels like I’m spoiling them with the best of the best. And they’re rewarding me with beautiful growth and vibrant green color. Day 28: I got home from 10 days of holidays and these girls had cruised along as if I had been there with them the whole time. They are very happy, especially the middle one. The small one on the right has always been small, is what it is. She could be a stack little shorty. Time will tell. I did a feed today, top dressed according to Gaia Green at 15 ml/ gal of media which should last approx 2 weeks. I also added a bit more 444 just to make sure there’s enough N during this stretch phase. All 3 have pistols showing and are starting to flower. I was unable to train as much as I’d have liked but is what it is. Sometimes the more indica strains I’ve done are negatively effected by topping and excess training. I removed a couple huge fans that were shading too much of the plant. I also am trying a “super cropping” of top fans to get them out of the way but still save them as a nute source if they need. We’ll see how it goes. The Vipar spectra xs2000 is killling it as usual. As I’ve said 50 times it’s super powerful and I’ve had to raise the light above recommended height as I started to see leaf edge curl and light stress. No problem at all tho, better too powerful and raise it than too weak and have loose buds. I did a micro top just to stop excessive apical meristem stretch and leaving all the other lower branches too low for effective light absorption or burn on the top cola. Happy Growing 🌱
