SAC87 Update:
All 3 seeds broke ground on May 20. Ready to see these babies grow big and beautiful.
Germ Day 1:
Today I decided to plant 3 Fast Buds Afghan Kush Auto. I mixed the Gaia Green All Purpose 4-4-4 with a couple tbsp of mychorrizae and crushed egg shells into 5 gal of sunshine #4 which is predominantly a peat based media. I watered around the seed thoroughly.
I am using the sponsored Vipar Spectra XS2000 and think it will be awesome for these auto flowers. Itβs a super strong light with an awesome spectrum. I have it set at 30% at 34β.
Iβm excited to see how this combo works. Iβve seen great things from each part and looking forward to a great result together.

All 3 Fast Buds Afghan Kush Auto seeds popped and are looking good. I chose this strain because itβs fast, an 8 week autoflower. This will allow me to dry during the hottest part of the summer.
I chose this strain because I think itβll give me a good heavy indica in my availability. My wife loves it too.
The Vipar Spectra XS2000 is set at 36β at 40% ish. Iβll be adjusting it as I see fit for the plants as they are indica dominant, they may need less light. This light preformed well with the GHS Super Lemon Haze Photos I did last round. Excited to see how they produce with an autoflower.
Iβd like to thank FastBuds and Vipar spectra for providing the seeds and the XS2000 for me to review.

SAC87 Day 7:
Well these little girls are on their way to being big bud producing beauties. So far Iβm enjoying the ease of the Gaia Green. Just roughly ph water and pour in. Weβll see how the end result turns out.
Theyβre just taking their first steps so not much to say at this point.
Iβve got the Vipar Spectra XS2000 at the suggested height and will be adjusting the height according to what I think the plants wanting. Iβve got the light on 20/4 for right now to keep tent temps a bit more even. Iβll drop it to 18/6 later on once theyβre more established.

SAC87 Day 14:
These little plants are just truckin along. Theyβre looking good. They seem a bit small, but are indica dominant so idk yet. Iβm heading out of town for a couple days so theyβll get a heavy water and be left on cruise til Iβm home.
The Fast Buds from last round are curing up nicely and so powerful in potency and aroma. Iβm pumped to see how these turn out.
The XS2000 is providing a perfect amount of heat at 75% that it just takes a light misting to have these little plants right in the sweet spot for temps and humidity. Iβve said this a bunch, this is a powerful light so I have it set a bit higher than recommended but I want room for them to grow up into without stress. Iβd rather have a bit of stretch to contend with rather than light stress.
Iβm excited to see how they look when Iβm home. Hopefully quite a bit bigger!!

SAC87 Day 28:
I got home from 10 days of holidays and these girls had cruised along as if I had been there with them the whole time. They are very happy, especially the middle one. The small one on the right has always been small, is what it is. She could be a stack little shorty. Time will tell. I did a feed today, top dressed according to Gaia Green at 15 ml/ gal of media which should last approx 2 weeks. I also added a bit more 444 just to make sure thereβs enough N during this stretch phase. All 3 have pistols showing and are starting to flower. I was unable to train as much as Iβd have liked but is what it is. Sometimes the more indica strains Iβve done are negatively effected by topping and excess training. I removed a couple huge fans that were shading too much of the plant. I also am trying a βsuper croppingβ of top fans to get them out of the way but still save them as a nute source if they need. Weβll see how it goes.
The Vipar spectra xs2000 is killling it as usual. As Iβve said 50 times itβs super powerful and Iβve had to raise the light above recommended height as I started to see leaf edge curl and light stress. No problem at all tho, better too powerful and raise it than too weak and have loose buds.
I did a micro top just to stop excessive apical meristem stretch and leaving all the other lower branches too low for effective light absorption or burn on the top cola.

SAC87 Day 35:
These girls are growing well and starting to smell. There is 3 totally different phenos going on here, kinda like a Goldilocks situation. One short and stout, one tall and lanky with large internodal spaces and one thatβs stacked and bushy. I added a trellis net to open the canopy up and removed about 20 leaves in total that weβre blocking bud sites.
The Gaia green is super easy to use and the plants seems to be liking it a lot. I can see myself using this for a while. Just pour water in. Done.
The Vipar spectra xs2000 is doing great, not throwing off too much heat as summer gets in full swing. The plants look healthy and happy so thereβs not much more I can ask for.
Other than that weβll just keep an eye on them and see how they turn out.

SAC87 Week 3:
Things are going well, tho there is a Leaf condition going on here. I have sprayed with a cal mag solution and added a bit of pk booster to hopefully rectify this problem soon. Other than that everything is going well.
The XS2000 is doing a great job as it did last round.

SAC87 Hey Growers
This has been a pretty easy week. All I did was water with a bit of cal mag and bit of bloom booster to see if that would help this leaf condition thatβs going on. I checked the soil ph with a probe and itβs between 6-6.5 so idk exactly whatβs going on. The plants seem to be getting bigger and the buds are growing. Probably not as quickly as the could if they were perfectly healthy but idk what to do. So Iβm just gonna keep on rolling along. Iβll make every attempt I can think of to fix it but itβll be what it is. Thereβs lots of leaves to remove so Iβll let her cannibalize what she needs and hopefully make it to the end strongly with dense buds.
They are starting to smell very strongly of earthy Kush with some light fruity notes.
The XS2000 is running well and cool, not fighting my a/c too much which is nice on my hydro bill. No complaints there.

SAC87 Hey Growers.
These FastBuds Afghan Kush are coming along nicely. These girls are in their final week/s. Iβm just watering and watching trichomes. I removed a bunch of leaves especially the damaged ones and the buds bulked up immediately and the frost poured on. The trichomes are bulbous and granular, theyβre so big. The buds arenβt massive, but they are firm. I think that may be because of the XS2000. They are quite similar to the super lemon haze from last run. Iβm totally fine with a bunch of buds the size and firmness of golf balls!!
A bit more time and Iβll chop them down.

SAC87 Well, weβre done another round of growing. The Vipar Spectra XS 2000 is shut down and these Afghan Kush auto from Fast Buds are sitting in the dark waiting to be chopped. Let the post growth stages begin. I definitely have a Goldilocks situation going on. One short stacked and loaded with grainy trichomes. One tall skinnier plant with nice trichome coverage and one mid sized with smaller and less dense trichomes. They all have a nice fruity hash scent. Itβs very nice. As they have ripened and flushed the smell is getting more intense. They have only received water for the last few weeks. I am looking forward to to the dry and cure. I know this will be a great late summer fishing and bonfire kind of smoke.

Wow wow wow. My wife and I have always loved Afghan Kush for completely different reasons. Brain chemistry is so cool. It helps to control her anxiety and relaxes her for sleep. Me on the other hand, Iβm am physically pumped and going to do a workout right now. Then if Iβm looking to relax, I lay it on thick π¨and it does the job. I am very happy with #1 specifically. This plant is wild l, I will be sad when sheβs gone. It is hands down the best Afghan Kush Iβve ever smoked, period. It calms my GI system without clouding my mind, which is the reason for my license. In reality that is always what Iβm looking for. A bit calming, full body awareness with GI isolated relaxation. Itβs really unfortunate this isnβt a photo plant bc this is sheβd be staying for a long time!!
Iβd like to thank FastBuds for the opportunity to grow this. Coupled with a Vipar spectra xs 2000 that was cool, but powerful made these buds super dense and packed with trichomes. The Gaia Green made this grow so damn easy. I have to laugh when people say βthis must be so hard to growβ. I was hesitant at the beginning bc a buddy had fungus gnats when using this in coco bc of the watering needed (also a new grower so maybe just plain overwatering, regardless). With good watering and tent hygiene practices in plain sunshine peat, I didnβt have a single gnat. Iβm going to buy the big bag of 444 and 284 from my local shop π―. For me Iβve found the regimen that Iβm happy with. #Vipar Spectra Xs2000, 2x4 tent, Sunshine Peat with #Gaia Green Organics and #FastBuds Autos. See my new FastBuds Cinderella Auto grow coming soon.

SAC87 This grow was so damn easy itβs not even funny. It used to take hours to mix and water and ph and dick around. With this, RO water, cal mag, ball park PH pour in. The plants love it. Every 2 weeks pour a scoop of the powder in, mix in top soil, move on. This is my go to for the foreseeable future. No problems, no burning and great bud. What more can you want!!! Iβd like to thank Fast Buds for providing the seeds. Their genetics are so good. I can see me growing this brand of seed for a long time. The buds are frosty, smoke great, grow fast and gives a great variety of strains in a short amount of time. I appreciate the hook up. ππ»ππ»
You will love this strain my friend it will blow the head of you I have been smoking this every night for the last few weeks and have to say is my favourite strain next to fastbuds og kush that was gifted to me by a friend.
Kudos on getting sponsored by two of the biggest names in the grow/cannabis industry π€π€
Rock that shit my friend πππ
@Green_fiend, thanks man. The FastBuds OG Kush is really nice. My pheno was potent and sour. She was a beauty.
Ya itβs pretty humbling to be chosen to rep these brands. Iβm just a guy out here trying to do my best.
I appreciate the good vibes. βοΈπ±
