Hey growers! Another week down and everything’s running smoothly. The plants look happy, growing nicely, and smelling amazing. They handled the defoliation without any problems and keep growing strong. I also added another oscillating fan on the floor to keep the air moving well. Peace and happy growing! ✌️

Day 78: This week I only gave them water with regulator, humic-blast and ezymen because they where ready to harvest. Those others from last week where kept inside a dark room for some days before cutting them down. By doing this, your plants will increase making thc. In the middle of this week i also putted some plants inside the dark/drying room to make them ready to harvest. These will also be in the dark for a few days before I harvest them. At the end of this week all other plants are in the dark as well for a couple of days, i will keep them in the grow room because there is no point to move them to the other room lol. Because i put them into the dark for days instead of cutting them down, I can cut them fresh and put them in drying nets instead of putting the full plant upside down on ropes. I will use a cutting machine for this.

I started germination of 1 orange sherbert bean on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plug was just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made hole. Than I sowed my bean into the hole. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the hole in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plug into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see a sprout. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plug planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get this lady situated into her home. Cant wait! Some Background information on history with Orange Sherbert. I have grown orange sherbert out 3 times and all times had the same result. A shorter extremely branchy robust plant. That dominated the room. Loves training and really ups yeilds doing so. She produces an amazing canopy... just a sea of daggers. Her huge chunky colas pack and amazing orange tangy aroma and just taste like heavenly candy! Barneys Farm hit the nail on the head with this variety! She tends to have a little higher demand for potassium mid flower than most varieties. So a bit heavier on the pk booster and she will be mighty happy! Just a fabulous strain to work with.

Greetings, fellow cultivators! Welcome to the Week 7 Report on our magnificent Epsilon F1, where the journey of green greatness continues to unfold with each passing day. Prepare yourselves for a detailed and immersive exploration of our botanical wonder as we delve deep into the heart of her flourishing beauty. Let's begin with a momentous decision: the Day 21 Flower Defoliation. With careful consideration and a keen eye for detail, I embarked on this transformative journey, gently removing select fan leaves to allow for increased light penetration and airflow. It's like giving our Epsilon F1 a botanical makeover, revealing her true splendor beneath the foliage canopy. This strategic pruning ensures that every bud site receives the attention it deserves, setting the stage for a bountiful harvest of epic proportions. But that's not all! As we bid farewell to the defoliation process, it's time to release all the bindings and restraints that were used to guide and train our green goddess throughout her growth journey. With a sense of liberation and pride, I untangle each tie, allowing our Epsilon F1 to stretch her leafy limbs and reach for the heavens. It's like setting a bird free from its cage, unleashing her full potential to soar to new heights of botanical glory. Now, let's talk about the environment. The TrolMaster controls have been instrumental in maintaining the perfect climate for our Epsilon F1's growth and development. From temperature and humidity to light and CO2 levels, these precision instruments ensure that our green queen receives the optimal conditions for flourishing. It's like conducting a symphony of growth, orchestrating each element to harmonize in perfect unity. And of course, we cannot forget the nourishment that sustains our botanical masterpiece. The Aptus Holland nutrients continue to be the lifeblood of our grow space, providing a balanced diet of essential macro and micronutrients. From the Micromix Soil to the Substrate Buffer Powder and All-in-One Pellet, each component plays a vital role in nurturing our plant to perfection. But let us not overlook the unsung heroes behind the scenes. Shout-outs to Royal Queen Seeds for bestowing upon us the genetic marvel that is the Epsilon F1, a testament to their dedication to excellence in breeding. To Aptus Holland, our main sponsor, whose unwavering support and innovative nutrients have propelled our grow to new heights of success. To TrolMaster, for providing the tools that empower us to create the optimal growing environment for our plants. And to Grow Diaries, the platform and community that fosters collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and camaraderie among growers worldwide. As we bid adieu to Week 7, let us revel in the glory of our Epsilon F1's progress and look forward with anticipation to the weeks ahead. We’re deep into Week 8, and Blue Banana Cream is stacking up beautifully. Trichomes are looking frosty, covering the buds in a thick, sticky layer—definitely a strain that’s going to shine post-cure. The aroma has intensified compared to earlier weeks, now pushing out a stronger creamy, fruity scent with a slight gas undertone. Every time I open the tent, it hits harder. The buds are swelling up nicely, transitioning from airy to more mid-compact density. Pistils are still mostly white, meaning it’s got a bit more time before it fully ripens. One thing I’ve noticed—the branches are starting to lean from the weight, so some light support might be needed to prevent them from bending too much in the final stretch. I’m keeping temps at 18-20°C and humidity around 55-60% to ensure a proper finish. With harvest around the corner, it’s just about watching those trichomes shift from clear to cloudy/amber and letting this one reach its peak.

Plants started getting real bushy a couple of days after topping. Low Stress Trained all the plants at the end of the week by tying them down using rubber coated garden wire to spread out the newly grown tops. Also spaced out each plant evenly on the tray and turned on the other 2 PB2000 LED lights I had ready to go.

We are getting a nice quick start just like always from fastbuds. I'm starting this week now with a video of our 5 gallon home. I will add more pics through out the week. Please come back to follow along! I'm so excited about this grow! It's been a few days but I wanted to update you all. The #1 plant got eaten by something. I threw that soil out and started over again. The # 2 plant has a tap root showing and is in the pot as of today May 30th. I'm keeping a close eye on the bug situation. May 31st- the replacement seed for plant 1 has cracked open has a tail and will be popping up any time now! I do have fungus gnats, I did a soil drench with sns 709 and put out stick yellow traps. Hopefully this will do.

Week 4, May 2 to 8/20**********Days 22 to 28 from germination********* Fighting pH with numbers of 7.1 still coming out after putting in 4.5 for days and never given over 6.1 from the start?? Its time to rule out the damn pots as the issue because there is simply nothing else left......coco with perlite flushed from the start.....feed never over 6.1?????? How is run off staying so high even after several waterings of 4.5pH. They are only three weeks when this issue became apparent. I had cut slits in the bottom of the pots to aid in further drainage???? I transplanted the Fast Buds girls into 3 gal plastic pots. They are fighting the pH issues more than the other girls and will I pick on the weaker ones.......unfortunately its these ones. Plus since GSC is a longer running strain In this grow I figured these girls may have the most time to make up from any shock. GSC went well and she came out of the fabric pot well and into the new one. They were both exactly 10” across so I cut the whole fabric pot in half with razor knife while holding together. First girl fell right down in and went okay!!!! Cool👍👍👍 GSC2 on the other hand had more of an F U attitude about it all😡 Followed the same process but she didn’t’ come right apart nicely like the first one. She fought one side of the pot and in hind sight I should have cut a plus symbol or star pattern in the bottom of the pot rather than just the one slice.......It wouldn’t give right on the bottom of the pot on one side. When it finally did the roots came up from the bottom and she was flipped inside the medium..........basically worst case scenario 🤬🤬🤬 So what can you do.......you show her some extra love❤️ and talk softly to her😚 and promise to make her healthy👊 and strong💪 and never to hurt her agian😍😍🤞 Little more detail......... May 2/20 - Day 22 - 2L feed for each girl with CalMag @ 0.5ml, Vitathrive, Sensyzime, Piranha, Voodoo, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 625ppm and 5.0pH - runoff numbers: - GSC 590ppm with 7.3pH - GSC2 580ppm with 7.2pH - why so high damn it?? May 3/20 - Day 23 - 6L mixed with Vitathrive, VeloKelp, Sensyzime @ 2ml, Piranha, Voodoo @ 1ml = 165ppm and 5.0pH - 3L given to each girl. - GSC girls have perked up the last three days. - GSC2 is getting wider but not taller. - Runoff numbers: - GSC - 725ppm and 6.9pH - GSC2 - 650ppm and 6.8pH - thinking that cheap fabric pots are the issue with high pH I am going to transplant two of the four girls into plastic pots and see how that goes. - GSC transplant went well. - GSC2 transplant not so well.......she caught the edge coming out of the old pot and her root mass became all twisted😞😞😞 May 4/20 - Day 24 - dry out day and leave them alone after being so shook up yesterday. May 5/20 - Day 25 - gave a small plain water feed of 2L each with ph to 5.0 - water and left them alone again today. May 6/20 - Day 26 - Feed day again. 1.5L each for each girl with Dual Fuel, Vitathrive @ 1ml, CalMag, VeloKelp @ 0.5ml = 675ppm and 5.1pH - the girls are working through it......just give them time. May 7/20 - Day 27 - simple feed today with VeloKelp @ 1ml and Sensyzime @ 2ml = 165ppm and 5.0pH - each girl given 1L. - GSC is looking like she is fighting back and starting to see her increase in size. - GSC2 is also coming along because her dying leaves are also starting to perk up. - Did some some stem twisting on GSC to help strengthen her stock. May 8/20 - Day 28 - Dry out day - The girls are doing well with the Kelp and while they are not much bigger they look healthier! - GSC2 low branches are not sitting in soil anymore👍 Cheers Growmies........have a great week!!!!!

This is the last week, I've given them another tank filling, but the Chem Beyond Diesel CBD was chopped on day 69F, which was the second day of the week, SAD CBD, and NYC Diesel CBD followed on day 73F. I left the for a couple more days, but also chopped it on day 76F, which is already the next week, but I won't be creating another diary entry for that one as it was 3 days long and nothing happened. The foxtailing makes it look like there are still a lot of white pistils, but most of the inner/lower ones are finished, the trichomes look ok, and I am growing impatient again.

This week has been descent, plants recovered just fine from the LST issues from before. Its like they never were really phased by it. and that's impressive for the strain it really can take abuse and grows well. I was away for a extended weekend and tossed in 1Gal of ph'd water to the plants and hopped for the best, So far so good. Will need to water them again tomorrow. Had a bit of burning on some leaves from the soil/transplant so its good to know the stuff is feeding em well. I really think the fulvic acids are helping them take in the nutrients as I'm using less of it compared to other grows with Gaia Green. I topped all the plants this week and this should set them back a bit in vertical growth. I think they will be ready for flip in a week or two, they should have established themselves in the new pots with all their roots by now. Maybe give them a bit more and then pinch them all into the SCROG net, Might need a 2nd net to support the colas if they grow really tall. Aim for week 10 flip as of now. Clones are also doing well, one of them dried out a bit more and can see the growth was stunted. I also gave away the 4th plant that was a runt, they will be keeping it in a window still till its time to transplant them outside in the spring and let it grow into a monster plant outdoors hopefully if it does not get stolen. Hard to tell what will happen to it. Lota dumbasses in their neighbourhood. Other then that not much else to report on, Big shoutout to Medic Grow for sponsoring the lighting in my tent, They have provided me with 2x Mini Sun 2's in the 240w configuration, They use the v1 growing spectrum that is a all purpose seed to harvest spectrum so their is no hassle of switching it mid grow.
