My feathery friends came to check on me and my plants while I was harvesting and washing my harvest. πŸ¦ƒβ€οΈ I washed everything with a mixture of lemon juice and natriumbicarbonate and rinsed it with two buckets of clean water. Hung it to dry in a room with a dehumidifier and a ventilator.

More mistakes made (I'm so worried I'm killing them), but trying to tone everything down to recover. I'm staying with 25% of nutes for now Smell has increased. My whole basement has a very green "Plant" smell. It's less earthy now and more green. First floor only smells on occasion... No carbon filter used yet... Day 50 July 16 raised lights (saw a lot of light burn) and reduced power to 75%. fed 800ml water each (saw a bit of nutrient burn, slowing it down a bit) Day 52 July 18 #2 1100ml to each 2.5ml calmag, 2.5ml micro, 1.25ml gro, 3.75ml per gallon. pH meter issues 1L fed to each Day 54 July 20 fed each 1l of water Day 55 July 21 nut made 2.5ml calmag, 2.5ml micro, 1.25ml gro, 3.75ml bloom 6.36ph ppm 490 fed 1L each

First off, I hope all who visit this journal watch the timelapse. I'm very happy with how it turned out. The GSC is in the foreground. Comparing the beginning to the end shows just how dramatically my plant has grown in the past week. This plant now has a photo-period neighbor! I have changed the light schedule back to 18-6 to accommodate. Her chronicles will be in a separate journal. Towards the end of week two, I noticed the leaves were forming brown spots that I took as a sign of calcium deficiency. To treat this, I used a gallon of (hard) tap water, adding calcium to the reservoir. Luckily this seems to have done the trick! The spots have been absent on all subsequent leaf growth. Sometime in the middle of this week, I had to re balance the pH from ~7 to ~6. Perhaps this pH fluctuation came from the tap water transfusion. In an effort to raise the RH in the tent, I've repetitively spilled a small amount of water on the floor of the tent. Doing this keeps the RH around 45-50%. I've made some other small changes to my grow setup as shown in the pictures. Prior to this week, I'd thought my plant was hopelessly behind developmentally compared to other user's because I'd compare their week two plants to mine. Luckily, this week has seen some growth! It's crazy how fast they shoot off after their first three-fingered leaves form. The first "real" set of leaves to grow in (not three-fingered yet), seemed to take forever to grow into their full size while not much else (besides the roots) seemed to grow. This week's three-pointed leaves have practically fully formed already. Alongside them, are the beginnings of yet more leaves! I'm not certain what I will do this next week. I may start LSTing this plant, though I'm not sure when exactly I should do this. My original plan for my plants was to implement a screen of green using a trellis. I have sense realized this may not be the best approach while using a DWC, because water changed would be made much more difficult. Have any of you DWC growers experiment with this? Is it worthwhile? I will likely not replace the water for another week, though that's not set in stone. I appreciate any advise regarding the training techniques I mentioned, water switch outs and anything else that may be relevant to this grow. I will more than likely ask a few designated questions. To those who take the time to answer, thank you!

so people are going to ask ? where's the buds well I'm 3 days into drying and soon as everything is dyed I will share the details of everything but long story short..... I wanted to see if I could push my skills, by doing newbie outdoor mistakes like mold, heat and cold issues, pests, animals, nute problems and limiting myself to a budget of Β£50 for the plant so I could prove you dont need a fancy set up to get good grade cannabis. all it takes is skill, time and love for the plant. bare in mind I stay in Scotland where the misconception is you can't grow cannabis out here at all. well that's wrong I've had lemon haze grow outdoors fine that was a meter and a half tall. and this peyote reached 50cm max until I had to cut the main stem as I was having growth issues with the main stem holding the plant back. but tune in next week when is dried, smoked a little and then after that cured. I know this community is one of the friendliest I have met but I just don't want people making assumptions biased on 1 plant I've posted.

OK, im doing an update now becouse my breakup cake is going tranny!!(hermie) I already have noiticed she was not growing as strong .. but u can blame that on anything , especially when growing outdoor.. but this morning i saw that she was g(r)oing 'bananas'!😒 I have put her aside from the rest (in the back of garden) but think gonna have to terminate her asap!..(and i will, right after this postπŸ‘) The weed she will give will be filled with seeds and those seeds will be hermies too, so wothless.. and if i dont throw her away quick she can infect the rest. So goodbye breakup cake..😒 who wants to eat a cake when they are breaking up anyway..πŸ˜’ (just hiding my pain with lame humour 😳) happy growing for all ✊

Switched to flower nutes too early. Back to full strength terp tea grow 711. Atleast for the next 2 weeks, maybe less. 5/1/24 Plant is stretching now. FYI just to clarify, I switched lights to 12/12 on 4/20 but I am considering her being in veg still until I see more pistils. Probably the end of this week. After a 2 week transition period 5/3 2 days later and I need to get my damn camera in the tent! This stretch is starting to look like nursery explained. She’s supposed to triple in size. I thought I tied her down too much and she would stay short. I swear she’s grown an inch over night. Starting to dominate the tent. Literally 2 days ago, I said that I didn’t consider this week to be flower and still the transition phase. Now she looks like she’s fully in the flowering phase. She’s beautiful and I’ve been impressed since veg. Since I chose her as a clone I liked the way she was. Hoping she follows throughπŸŒ±πŸ’š

Hey guys, slowly we coming to an end. β˜ƒοΈ The two plants on the left looking like Slurricane Phenos and on the right side like Platinum (Less purple and late finisher). The Slurricane Pheno on the backside looks most frosty and will finish most early. It's a keeper for sure and also the clones looking very healthy. The other clones i will send straight into flowering when i have space in one of the other tents. Smooth run with this Genetics and the flowers looking very promising. 😍

Stellar week for the Critical Girls. The others are still lagging behind a bit, I wish they'd get their act together. Some are showing a little nitrogen deficiency, so I'll give them a foliar spray tomorrow. I also flushed them with some sledgehammer back on Thursday because one of the Critical Cures and the Blue Shark was showing a little Boron lockout.

Selectively harvested on day 76. Trichromes mature yet she was throwing white hairs from her foxtails still. Smells delicious. Will report back after cure with final totals, I haven't harvested the secondaries yet. I am giving them a couple days to see if they do any more. Very happy with the harvest so far, and as always Happy Farming, and stay safe out there folks! Edit 7 zips. Wasn't as dense as I had hoped on the lower colas, but dense at the tops. Really behind the eyes with a strong elevated platitude.

Hello fellow growers, I harvested my plant on Day 68 of the flowering stage. The buds are now hung up and drying in an environment with a relative humidity (RH) of 55-60% and temperatures ranging from 18Β°C to 21Β°C, I've set up two fans to keep the air moving gently around the drying space. Today marks Day 6 of drying, and I'm aiming for a nice, slow dry to preserve the quality of the buds, followed by a dry trim. Reflecting on this grow, I can see areas where I could have improved, but considering it's my first time, I believe I've done a commendable job. There are quite a few larfy buds underneath, but the top buds, which were closest to the light, turned out great. I initially thought I had nailed the training techniques, but as soon as I flipped her into the flowering stage, she got out of control. This experience has taught me the importance of being even more disciplined with my training methods in future grows. Overall, I'm thrilled with the outcome and have learned valuable lessons for my next run. Can't wait to see how these buds turn out after curing! Wish me luck as I move into the final stages of this journey. Let's Grow!
