I have topped both RS11 Couple more weeks of veg and we switch to flower 1 plant looking abit weird atm pale and deficiency Maybe some calmag needed?

Lookin good, no more herms so far as I’ve tightened things up hopefully that’s the last of them for good. I installed a 4Inch AC infinity fan and filter as an intake so I have been able to close all of the vents. At this point the leaf strip has proven to be a solid method, I have nothing to compare bud size at this point but just the extra space it opened up is a plus. I’m sure the lowers will be a little more firm and the plants obviously haven’t had to be fed as often as usual so its saving time, water and nutrients. The added microbes have also allowed me to keep my ppm around 1000 instead of 1080ish without any sign of deficiencies. The Mandarin cookies x Dionysus has a little cal-mag issue but that was a trait from the mother which out of 10+ grows all had a cal-mag deficency. This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. Hi Gromie's, well it's the end of another problem free week! Week 9 going into week 10 of veg! I don't usually veg for this long but I'm just trying to get the timing right for perpetual harvest. Plants in flowering tent were harvested & drying now for 5 days, so these girls will be transferred to the flowering tent in the next few days for the start of flowering, I've allready planted new seeds for the following grow, so just trying to get on top of the timing for everything related with perpetual growing. Thinking of setting up a 4x2 tent with a 4 inch extraction fan & filter for drying, so I can cut out around a week, that way as soon as I've harvested & cleaned the tent I can transfer plants from veg instead of having to dry in the flowering tent. Have developed really strong & thick structure's from the H.S.T & L.S.T training. Plants are nice & healthy. Performed 1 last defoliation before they go to flower as they get very bushy quickly.

Got everything moved around & the new carbon filter, fans & lights so hopefully I got better coverage with less power👍🏼 Topped 1 of the Gelato OGs today was getting way taller than the rest we will see how she bounces back! Everything else seems to be going great! Day 22 topped & trimmed them up a bit Day 23 started LST on a few Day 24 started mainline on one of the GZ Day 25 trimmed them a little more today

This week went well. They are all stretching out nicely, except for alien berries which is looking a little runtish. Pink kush did not like the nitrogen and she made it clear to me with some claws up top. She also began to really prefiere so next feed will be with bloom mutes for her. The other ladies still seem to be in veg despite showing sex already. Defoliating any large leaves covering lower growth tips.

The third week started with repotting. I'm using the 14 liter (3.7 gallons) Airmaxx airpots again. The second coblamp was turned on and both lights were dimmed to a total of 132 watt at 48 cm(18.9 inches) from the plants on the first day of the week, giving a DLI of 23. 4 days later the power was raised to 140 watt and the distance was lowered to 45 cm(17.7 inches), giving a DLI of 26.5 and it stayed that way for the rest of the week. The lowest 1 finger leaves and the lowest shoots were removed on day 20. Next week I'm going to top them. Day 15, day of repotting, I gave them 200 ml of ph adjusted tapwater with Plagron Power Roots (ec 0.5 – ph 6.1) each. The next 2 days were dry. Day 18 I gave them 300 ml of ph adjusted tapwater with Plagron nutrients (amounts see above) each. The next 2 days were dry again. On the last day of the week I gave them 400 ml of the same solution they received on day 18. Twice this week I gave them a shower with CannaCure. I added 40 ml to 200 ml tapwater (ph 6) to make the spray solution. Temperatures fluctuated between 21.5 – 26.3 °C (70.7 – 79.3 °F) and humidity between 41 – 84 % That's about it for this week.
