Day 20 - she got 16oz of water pH balanced to 6.0~ on Day 16, Day 18, and Day 20. I topped the plant and then defoliated to leave the 3rd and 4th nodes. The 3rd node is being trained to grow laterally until it reaches the container walls. Once the 4th node matures more, it will also be trained just as node 3. The goal is to train and top one more time in veg to ensure maximum yields in this small 2x2x4 tent.

Großartig gewachsen aber zugleich eine Pflanze Überdüngt. Ich war überrascht im Rückblick das schnelle und unaufhaltsame Wachstum. Da ich anfangs nur den Ph wert grob geschätzt habe habe ich glaube ich Anfänger Fehler gemacht und den PH wert ganz locker genommen. eine Pflanze hat die spitzen verbrannt und wächst seit dem relativ dünn und mager, trotzdem wuchsen sie stetig. Somit habe ich mir ein PH Messgerät angelegt. jetzt wird genau auf 6.2 PH alles angepasst. Kann durch den PH wert oder dem Dünger das Problem entstanden sein? LTS hat genial funktioniert und hat bei jeder Pflanze schöne Äste gebildet. es schaut fast schon aus als ob die Pflanzen in Blüte gehen wollen. Ich freue mich auf die nächste Woche!

08/21/24. Going into week 8 flower Day 57 out of stated 64. So one week left exactly. I’m not sure on that. She’s still drinking at the same rate as usual, and there’s still quite a few white hairs. I’ll be looking at her trichomes today anyway, just to see where we’re at. Either way she’s getting just water from here on out. She’s dark af and has some nutrient burn anyway, so I’m sure she’ll be fine. She’s fattened quite a bit more than I expected. Seemed like her buds would be kinda long and skinnier. No complaints here though. She’s getting pretty damn frosty and sticky too. She has a kinda piney sweetish smell. Start the count down ⏰ See yuh ✌️

Would not be here without you! absolute legends😎 I had an absolute blast making the videos every week and showcasing the Grow Huge Thankyouuu to everyone who liked, followed and commented on the diary! I have been hooked for weeks on this! and its thanks to all you. I have Harvested 2 of the Runtz first which were darked out for 3 days in a 3x3. We have 3 more in flower for another week or 2 as they are little behind schedule! There are 2 plants which I will be flushing next week as they have really packed out now. We got 1 straggler but looks like she's fattening up good! and will follow suit very soon! 😎 🌳Plant 1 Harvested and Drying now The size of this momma Runtz is mad! After loosing one of the main stems in early flower, she powered through and made 2 massive fat colas! Hardly ran into any problems with this plant other than loosing a main stem which turned out to be glorious in the end! 💥 She is now drying in the 3x3. I'm aiming for 10 days drying. Smell is absolutely unreal! I would normally do longer but as I have took most of the main fan leaves off I think it will be a bit quicker this harvest. 🌳Plant 2 Harvested and Drying now - Another whopper! super sticky colas all over it! I decided to leave a few more fan leaves on this one for now but may take more this week aiming for 10 days again! couldn't' be happier with the results, Hardly ran into any nutrient problems throughout. We had a few pale leaves early flower due to overwatering but she soon recovered and powered through! Smells like victory! 3 more Plants to go not long now!!!! I Will add another flowering week in next 2 days and show the other 3 still in action! Going to Update this harvest page in the next 2 weeks with dry weigh results and Smoke review to follow!! Update 25/05/25 3 remaining Plants 🌳🌳🌳 have now been harvested and curing in the grove bags. there are 2 plants that have a very minty fresh smell, smells well good when u open the bags! hits your nostrils hard! I started picking for forbidden fruits the day after last week’s post, checking the colas with the scope and only picking tops that were approx 10-20% amber. As I snipped colas I also removed a lot of upper fan leaves, this is to allow light to reach lower buds for a final ripening. Once picked, I placed approx 100g in each brown paper bag, folded the top and sat on a rack. I slowly rolled the bags around once or twice a day just so the buds didn’t stick together. Seems to have worked well, no dreaded hay smell to note and nicely dried. I think I’ll be taking some more colas tops off in a few days time and I’ll keep the plants alive for another week or two, depending on how fast they come along. I have 4 Mimosa EVO (no diary) about 7 weeks into veg at the moment and I think it would be nice to give them another 2 weeks as I need big plants to make clones from them, ready for the next diary coming soon... hopefully with successfully taken clones 😊

This week went pretty well, other than she stretched like crazy and I am now getting worried about running out of vertical space. I also had a few of my bottom leaves get a few brown and yellow spots on them. I did post some pics and asked a question, thank you for the responses, much appreciated! I am thinking about adding my Spyder Farmer LED 100 Watt light into the tent for the nebula auto because it is about 23 inches shorter than the sour diesel. I believe it would only raise my temp about 2 degrees, and possibly lower the humidity by one or two percent. I must say my dehumidifier has been a freaking stud, running 24X7 and not complaining. I should look into adding another unit, it has been in the mid 90's and muggy for about a week. So far I have to say I am super impressed and excited with this setup, the genetics, and with growing this wonderful plant in general. Already planning ahead to my next grow, and what I can do better. I have been enjoying myself and I really appreciate everyone who has taken the time to answer my questions! I am having a blast and am excited to see what this lady will give up in a few weeks!

This gurl is done! She smells and feels sticky buds are not huge how I wanted but I take into consideration I use very little fertilizers and she started turning yellow and leaves dying!

Quarter Pounder and Skywalker are probably over due for final flushing. Squanch Queen is doing very well and looking to go 9 to 10 weeks. King tut and Alien Technology doing well. However, i did a spray of insecticidal soap due to seeing a couple small holes in a few king tut leaves. Next day plant was shocked and lost tons of leaves to burn. This plant did this once before with the same spray, the others no problem and didnt connect the two til now. Will let her veg back to health and flip to flower once shes healthy again and the autos are done.

Flowerday50: I‘m really happy with the bud growth. I think the naturalgreenrootin leave spray did his job really well, I see more healthy plants this time. Struggleing a bit with the humidity (55%) but it is what it is. 2-2.5 more weeks, smell is crazy right now

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Greetings Fellow Green Thumbs! We are approaching harvest very soon. Within the next week, week and a half tops. Need to monitor the trichomes closely (aiming for at least 50% milky) before I start flushing for 4-5 days (PH'd Filtered Water + FloraKleen) Debating putting up some kind of support to keep the chunky colas from falling over.
