Week 18 Middle August : weather is changing. Return of heat and humidity: 28 degrees, a little bit rain. A heat wave is coming but near the ocean the maximum will be around 32 degrees. It’s good to grow in greenhouse during this period : -ventilation control: I adapted the rythme: for now it’s around 18h/24h intermittently -pests and diseases control: insect’s traps natural and artificial, less heat -humidity control: no rain problem Daylight 14h: 7h/21h Flowering time 😁. Healthy plant, beautiful green color, just a few yellow leaves on the base. More watering: 1,5L every 60 hours Same cocktail: Calmag (0,5ml/L)+ FloraGro (2ml/L), FloraMicro (2ml/L), FloraBloom (1ml/L) + Root booster + Cannazym Feeding soil with guano bat (NPK 3/6/10) for a slow dispersion + dried horn and blood (NOK 13/0/0) for nitrogen add. Protecting plant: sprayed Neem Oil, added diatomaceous earth on soil. I found signs of thrips attack. I will make a defoliation soon.

Transplanted all to 15 gallon pots. All looking good started seeing new growth very quickly. They seem like very happy plants. Next week the new tent comes in and the new lights

Hoping to harvest at around week 12 or 13. Around the end of september, we still got a long ways to go though XD

Hello guys, I fixed my RH problems. I now water them 1,5L every 2-3 days, the Shimos seems to still be thristy ! I did a light defoliation, then flipped into 12/12 after 32 days of vegetative stage. This will be interesting 😍 Have a nice day, see ya next week !

Week 11 (03/28/22 - 04/03/22)

Day 85 (September 9th): Today is day 43 of flower and things are shaping up nicely. Colas are fattening up. It looks like the yields aren’t going to be super high, but the bud should be premium. Couple more weeks! Day 88: Girls are getting thicker every day. Colas are filling out nicely. Water tomorrow, no nutrients. All waterings from here on will be just plain water Day 91: Gave the girls some humid acid today to use up the last of the nutrients in the soil. 1/2tsp per liter was my mix rate.

No noticeable comment for this week all growing and forming very well we are into the bulking faze well and truly. Did a slight defoliation today just to open up some more sites and get rid of sites that wouldn’t produce anything. They are all progressing well and looking forward to the next 3/4 weeks to show where they end up and how swollen they get !

Craaazyyyy weeks Craaazyyyy growth Loving it AAALLLL Ok, so, this is the 5th week. Plants started flowering during 4th. They've had massive growth (from my perspective and experience 😅😅) and started to smellll I think I was consistent on that LST. Always trying to give all the heads as much light as possible. It was a lot of work, but I still loved it. Having 2 plants makes it more fun because I need to have a diferent point of view for each one. S has been toped, and with LST I was able to have lots of heads very well positioned B is responding marvelously to bending, wich makes it hard to bend because THERE IS NO MORE ROOM TO RUN TO 😂 she is growing a lot, and there's just to much leaves to tuck... As I was saying they're different, wich I am loving I decided to defoliate them as my last stress move towards the plants. Cutted the leaves that were on the bottom and covering the top heads, and the very small, tiny, thiny side branches. I am lowering the LST to minimum. Since the heads I chose, now have space and LIGHT to grow at will, I want to not disturb them as much as I can. You can see that when I defoliated them, there was light on the soil. And just in 1 day difference, even at this point, you almost can feel them grow! I was amased, because of the stress I had caused them. Yet, look with attention, you can spot the differece. (I hope you can see it too through the screen, because it's real 😅) Look at the S. She is doing just greaaaaat. Think it was a good decision to top her. Hope it keeps growing as it is! Smell is increasing Day 30 changed the light to 24h ON. Day 31 - Heads bigger - !QUESTION! -I always water the plants simultaneously. B's vase is noticeble heavier. Cant understand why... I'm going to start checking if they need to be watered at different times. I can only imagine that the root system is different, due to its "differences outside". But really! They have suffered different stress at different times... different root system = different drainage? Food for thought Day 32 Defoliated them because I thought they were too bushy. Felt like it maybe was a mystake, later, due to some recommendations i read... Plus, the high summer sun is peaking, and I want to give her the best light intensity possible for an explosive bloom. ☀️🔥 She’s still running on the same feeding routine as my autoflowers—Effective Microorganisms a few days ago, followed by a dose of BioBizz Grow and Alg·A·Mic to keep her both green and stress-free as she stretches into flower. 💧🌿 To keep her strong and resilient, I’m also spraying silica on the leaves every three days—just a little armor for the battles ahead. 🛡️🌱 Let’s see what she does with all that sunlight and freedom—this Red Hot Cookies is about to turn up the heat! 🍓🌶️🚀

Week 7. Day 47 …. Girls taking 2.5 litres every 48 hours. Happy with them so far excited to see them pack on some weight over next couple of weeks

10/27 Last week for these guys for sure. Really not happy with the soil as things turn out but thats why I have four cubic feet of buffered coco ready for next grow. Worry about soil next spring. Held off watering today as I may decide to go ahead and chop, tricones are ready and few new hairs so... need em dry. 10/28 Gave 1.5 liter of 6.5 PH water and 1 tbs Karo /gal each, just enough to get things to the 30th Harvest day with no further issues. Some new hair growth noted so buds still building on all but Jen, she is done but no where to put her till the drying tent is free so... on it goes for a couple. :)

A it late with the update as I broke my phone,. To say it was my 1st harvest was very pleased with the outcome, 38grams dry of mostly tight nugs, trichomes on the main colas were turning Amber so cut those down couple of days earlier and left lower nugs to develop a bit more. Cured for 2 weeks now and buds smelling and smoking great, smooth taste and full of flavour! Next crop been planted very soon.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil.
