Purple Crack from the Cali Connection Moving into flowering now and she is growing very nicely , lots of potential bud sites developing and Ive done a full Bucket rinse , wash and nutrient change . I also rinsed the roots with some nice clean water to remove anything unwanted. I've also upped the nutrient strength to 4mls per litre and added Big bud to the regime. 🌸 Week 4 Flower – Gelonade Run (Week 8 from Seed) The garden this week feels like a song in mid-chorus, not at the beginning, not at the climax, but at that perfect moment where everything flows together, alive and in rhythm. The Gelonade girls continue to thrive as they enter their fourth week of flower. Both phenos are strong, healthy, and stacking nicely, but once again, the spotlight belongs to Pheno #2, our unicorn with her unforgettable leaves. 🍃 The Freak Leaves – Nature’s Masterpiece Every week she amazes me. The leaves are massive, sculpted, and utterly unique, opening like fingers folding out of a hand, splitting and stretching in ways I’ve never seen before. They don’t just capture light; they capture attention. They’re freakish only in the sense of being extraordinary. This week I did a light defoliation, removing just a few fan leaves here and there to let air and light move through the canopy. Nothing heavy, just enough to open the girls up so they can breathe freely. The freak leaves still dominate the show, and I couldn’t be happier. 💧 Nutrition – Aptus x Plagron Fusion The nutrient strategy stays consistent, built on the solid foundation of super soil and pellets while enhancing with a balanced booster program: • Aptus Regulator – for structure and stress resistance • Aptus CalMag Boost – for strong frames and chlorophyll balance • Plagron Trio (Power Buds, Sugar Royal, Green Sensation) – each at 1 ml/L This blend is improvisation, yes, but with intention. It’s the last week of flowering, and I’ve moved the plant into 48 hours of darkness to help boost trichome production before harvest. ✨ The plant has developed an incredibly deep purple color and is covered with trichomes—so much so that it sparkles under any light. The scent is amazing, filling the room with a sweet, candy-like fragrance with a touch of diesel. 🍬 When I trimmed a few leaves to prep for harvest, my scissors actually turned purple from the resin! That’s a first for me and shows just how rich and sticky the trichomes are on this plant. 😮✂️💜 I’m so excited to see how it looks and smells once it’s fully dried. This grow has been unforgettable! 😁🌿✨

Strong initial growth. Had some trouble with the pot being too small and probably overwatering. Lost half the leaves during first weeks of flower but recovered in the end.

well as u kniw we had comopany (mites) last eeki spraied 2 timeswith neem oil and thay are all dead but i will spray this week as wel tobe sure that thosemother fuckers are dead! ))) now aboutthe lant ahe is huge he is full off trichomes and smells fantastic. shes gonna be the beat auto i have grown. see the close up video :) happy growing mates

30/08/2025 - tenho vindo a regar alternadamente com água de garrafão e água da torneira que deixo descansar ao sol por 24h, acredito que esteja a ter um problema no EC da água mas não tenho medidor de EC. Vou comprar para a próxima run pois nesta já está muito tarde para mexer ou ajustar seja o que for. Mas de qualquer forma vou tentar esmiuçar com o que tenho para entender melhor o problema. Vai dar um fumo excelente, o cheiro está muito forte, formação de tricomas. Obrigado a toda a comunidade por me ajudar com as minhas questões. Ajudaram imenso. Estou a adorar a experiência de fazer este diário ! Obs: Com a ajuda da comunidade acabei por perceber que o problema pode ter origem em vários fatores, como dito em cima (sem medido de EC) palpito que seja o Ec da agua que tenho colocado, fiz um calculo e o Ec da agua e são cerca de 130-150uS/cm, o que por si só é muito aceitável. No entanto a composição da agua é: Ca2+ 1.5mg/L Na+ 25mg/L Cl- 19mg/L HCO3- 47.1mg/L Conclusão: Ainda teria de verificar o Ec do runoff dos vasos, mas sem medidor é-me totalmente impossível, deste modo as possíveis causas que encontrei seriam 2: o uso excessivo de chás aerados, pode ter aumentado demasiado a sacarose do solo e com isso a vida microbiana que por si só aumenta o Ec do solo, outro possível problema, que para mim será o mais provável, é a composição da agua que rego, tem uma quantidade de sódio relativamente alta (mais de 10 mg/l), sódio é um dos piores elementos em excesso no cultivo, não é um nutriente essencial para a planta (serve apenas em traços), compete com K, Ca e Mg nas raízes bloqueado a absorção, e acumula-se com facilidade no substrato pois não é consumido pela planta. Por ultimo, as quantidades de Ca e Mg são relativamente baixas o que pode criar um défice destes nutrientes com ainda mais facilidade nestas condições. Quando regado com este tipo de agua o ideal seria fazer um runoff em todas as regas de 10% (como um leve flush), para evitar acúmulos de sais no substrato, coisa que quase nunca fiz ao longo do cultivo. Vivendo e aprendendo :D MAIS UMA VEZ, OBRIGADO A COMUNIDADE GD.

Day 32 - Heater was blowing directly on a couple of the leaves that turned brown. Cut them off. Raised lights up again. I think my development is a little slower than others but I have had a lot of trial and error. Day 33 - added tomato rack for LST. growing nicely. Day 34 - Stopped nutes as I was getting a little leaf burn in lower leaves. Looks good otherwise. Lights are dialed in. Day 35.- This is what too much light looks like. Day 37 - Switched to the grow light. Moved the heater. Growing nicely. Day 38 - Lights dialed in REDUCED water. Stopped watering for 2 days. Day 39 - Full Lights on now. Put more holes in the pot. Draining nicely now.

We are DEEP onto flower now. Buds are still developing nice and at a steady pace. I was a little worried I'd get herms since my last ILGM grow was canceled because 4 plants hermed, but so far its looking great! This puts us right around Day 30 of flower and it can't look much healthier. One of the bottom leaves looks to be displaying a small P deficiency, so we will continue feeding at 2 tbsps here of the Flower Girl. However we'll take a break on the kelp meal. She definitely needs to be watered a tad more frequently, but we are still doing at most one watering a day. Even still, she's doing well and I honestly can't complain. Flowering day 63 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey everyone 😀. Both phenotypes continue to develop very nicely :-). The buds begin to ripen and smell very tasty 😍. The trichomes are 70% milky, 15% amber and 15% clear. As soon as the next 7-12 days are 70% milky and 30% amber, I will harvest. That's why I start flushing tomorrow 👍. It was watered twice this week with 1.2 l per watering per plant. The tent was cleaned and everything checked for health 👍.
