New Grow reusing old equipment from a fish tank LED and an IKEA fabric wardrobe. 😃
I hung two 75W LED Acan/Eco lamps inside the IKEA TENT I had laying around.
I bought a bag of Miracle Grow Organic soil and two pots at Home Depot for $20.
Pulled a fan out of an old computer.
Bought a $13 humidity and temperature gauge with Bluetooth. 😃
Ordered my Fox Farm nutes and Cal Mag on Amazon. $30 & $10.
RO comes from the fish tank setup.
Bought my seeds at Growers Choice.

12/9 - 18 hours in water glass.
12/10 - 24 hours in paper towels. 1/2” tap root.
12/11 - Straight into soil. 😁
Everything going strong.

One leaf started to curl a bit. Maybe too much water?
Starting nutes tomorrow.
The more leaves. Wanted to start nutes but soil is too moist.
Will hold off for another day. Just misting the surface.
Started with Fox Farm at 1/3 dosage as my soil had organic nutes in it already. Starting slowly.
Saw a gnat running around. Stopped water and misting. Put some packing tape in. Should be ok. 😁
Temperature is creeping up as I add more light. Maybe increase distance soon.
Increased the light distance. Leaves were looking a little baked. Maybe too hot as well.
Added another LED I bought on Amazon and raised all three up.
So I hooked up my vent fan to cool things down humidity dropped to much.
So I opened the top of the tent to allow less exhaust.
Seems to work now humidity at 50% and temp at 76.
Lights at 90%. 😃
Will begin LST tomorrow.
15 - light LST applied. Installed exhaust yesterday now struggling with keeping humidity up.
16 - LST took really well. popped back up.
17 - Too dry. Drooping leaves. Then too much water. Maybe too many nutes?
18 - Everything dialed in. Some of the leaves underneath have a brown edge not too worried.
19 - everything went bad quickly. Cut off dead leaves underneath. I think there is too much light. Will wait to see how we come out of the nighttime later today.
That size for 4 weeks of vegetative growth is not normal not even for an auto flowering plant! (which can possibly out-perform photoperiod plants).
It's quite hard to tell which toxicity your plant is suffering from but she definitely has one! at this small size and at young age the plants are very fragile and sensitive to overfeeding.
Try lowering your overall fertilizing to about 1/4 of the recommended dosage and hold the Calcium/Iron fertilizer you're using until the plant actually shows a deficiency (those are micro-nutrients needed in small amounts).
A better picture of the whole plant with the damaged parts would help a lot to identify exactly what the problem is.

So, the first pic is after 18 hours of LED lights temperature got up 82.5 F. 🔥 or ☀️
The second picture is after 6 hours of darkness temperature went down to 64.5 F.
So Too Hot or Too Bright?

It looks like my baby enjoys the lower temperature?
I have reduced the lights 2x now as she seems to shoot up during the night period.
Will wait another 6 hours and look for changes.

Day 21 - Past week or so was rough (drooping leaves), which recovered during the night period. I figured it was either light or heat. Turns out the lights were way to bright (brown tips, bleaching leaves, drooping leaves). Turned off the 300 watt LED. Turned the Two 75 watt LEDS TO 40% plant is now stretching out nicely. Will turn light up slowly once stretch looks good. Happy New Year!
Day 22 - Stretch looks good turned lights up 5% and leaves stopped stretching so back to 40%.
Day 23 - Everything is resolved. Lights were way to bright. Caused the plant to stay short and brown tips. Reduced lights by 60% and now it’s beginning to stretch a little during the day and a lot at night. Added nutes back in and reduced the water to 2 cups per day.
Day 25 - added 5% on lights. Stretching nicely. Manage vertical growth with filling out using the lights.
Day 26 - looking good increased water to 12oz per day.
Day 27 - lights up 5% back down 5%. I leave it alone now. Couple gnats flying around. Not sure if it is a problem?
Day 32 - Heater was blowing directly on a couple of the leaves that turned brown. Cut them off. Raised lights up again. I think my development is a little slower than others but I have had a lot of trial and error.
Day 33 - added tomato rack for LST. growing nicely.
Day 34 - Stopped nutes as I was getting a little leaf burn in lower leaves. Looks good otherwise. Lights are dialed in.
Day 35.- This is what too much light looks like.
Day 37 - Switched to the grow light. Moved the heater. Growing nicely.
Day 38 - Lights dialed in REDUCED water. Stopped watering for 2 days.
Day 39 - Full Lights on now. Put more holes in the pot. Draining nicely now.
Turned the lights up too Full.
Plant didn’t like too much light turned back down to Veg on,y Full strength.
Adding water every other day.
Plant is really stretching now.
Leaves seem narrow? Maybe more water yields thicker plant?
Need to figure out thin leaves and plant stretching too much?
Growth is good but too much stretch?
Increased water and turned light up. Will keep doing it until the leaves tell me too much.
Turned lights too Full. Gave a 1/2 Liter of water per day. Recovered nicely.
Trimmed all large fan leaves as flowers are everywhere.
Day 54 - Got everything dialed in pretty well. Lots of growth. Keeps trimming large fan leaves too allow light to lower branches. Doubled the water over the last week. Lights on Full now.
Day 55 - exposed leaves underneath got a little burned, turned light down one notch.
Day 58/59 - All good lights dialed in. Water is good.
Day 60 - growth is good
