So we're going into the 2nd week of flower and everything is looking good and healthy. Definitely ready to see what the flower looks like on this cross. My diary won't be complete in time for the contest but I'm still stoked for this grow.

Day 28 update: I think the light was too close to the plant, so I increased the distance to 50cm. It should help with the stretch of lower branches. Then I switched to Advanced Nutrients feed chart, adding 4ml/L of A+B formula and 2ml/L of other additives (for every liter in the reservoir). This made the ppm go crazy. Let’s see what happens, but I don’t like these unclear instructions. Ph Perfect keeps the ph stable for just a few hours, and they don’t say anything about ppm. Bad! Day 30 update: LST session + defoliation on fan leaves that were hiding lower branches. Day 32 update: transplanted to her final 20L AirPot (from a 5L one)! Added some michorrizhae as well where I placed the plant. Since I got a bigger pot, now it’s 250ml of solution every hour, instead of the previous 125ml. Day 34 update: immediately stopped using Advanced Nutrients feed chart (from their calculator) because I had that crazy 3100 ppm in the reservoir and noticed a small sign of overfeeding on a leaf in the top. I removed part of the solution and added tap water back until I got about 800 ppm. NOT HAPPY! Day 35: LST! Again

03/01/22: All main colas and smaller colas have an abundance of white trichmomes - looking very well and are sticky. Defoliated for the final time and Lollipopped removing all of the bottom veg to promote bud growth. Pistils are still hairy - just waiting for them to flatten down. only a very few pistils throughout are turning brown - hopefully this will increase within the next few weeks. Overall I am happy with the way things are going - and should only be 2-3 weeks more til harvest.

Start of week 8. Week 7 went very well, the buds on this GG#4 really blew up/out, incredible size increase and they look really dense, with red hairs mixed in. The leaves have some nice purple colors as well as the stems.

First pistils started showing on the canopy so the flowering period timer started this week. Tops are looking good, forming shape across the net. Stretched branches are being tucked one square across every 3-4 days or tied down. Pulled down most lateral branches applying LST where they weren't long enough to nicely go under the next square across of the net. The net is filling up nicely, with more pruning below the canopy of growth tips. Only pruning a few fan leaves which are stacking - the back and sides are piled up with huge fan leaves. Fertigating with an inflow EC of >1.35 seems to be moving the run-off EC higher - will maintain higher inflow EC until run-off is within acceptable range. Run-off EC Should be within 300 Points of Inflow EC. Run-off EC is now approaching my target since I've increased the inflow EC. Tracking run-off volume/EC/pH at every fertigation event as I manage the feed EC to monitor what the plant is doing/feeding. Fertigation is maintained now to once a day (at lights on) to maintain the target EC. 3/16/20 All is well and the plant is thriving. She is very very healthy and is requiring quite heavy nutrients and she desires a lot of cal mag. I am having to constantly defoliate her but I will defoliate her heavily one more time and stop. It is very interesting that it took her 10 weeks to flower on her own. Because of her massive roots, I can’t even fill in 5 gallons without almost drowning her but she gulps it down within 4-5 days. So far I am glad I didn’t kill her but she is just taking way too long.
