Well the older (28 day) gal is doing great, bent the main stem quite a bit along with a few side budsites, excited to see how much is stretches out in the new tent. The younger (21 day) gal is doing her thing - power veg mode, interesting to see even though she's a week younger, she's just doing her own thang ;) I may need to trim a few leaves off her to get light to the bud-sites underneath. happy growing y'all! 😎

Day 59 of flower, last day of light. Gonna give 48hrs of bro science darkness then chop. The smell from this tent is dam near unfathomable. Extreme and complex fruits. Punchberry cookies legit smells like Hawaiian Punch, and the lemon berry candy og smells like sour lemon skittles. Go figure

This strain was easy to grow. I started out without an hygrometer. Due to delivery problems i had it very late and my girl noticed that becauce the envirement wasnt optimal for her. She did survive that period, after that she got defoliated multiple times, and i got really rough with her sometimes and broke of some stems, and that was no problem for her. I also had an encouter with thousands of thrips, which i had to nuke to remove them from my girl and she didnt even bother. In veg she was a good to handle, in flower it was a little bit harder and i think she likes alot more PK at the end of her lifetime than i offered her. But thats more of a guess. The smell matches more a cross between blueberry and lemon kush in my opinion. The gelato part is not so noticable at the end of the road.(for me atleast) But the blue in other hand is very dominant and strong by smell and taste. I ended up with hardrock buds even the smaller ones, so im very happy with the outcome. Because of my thrips invasion and usage of bioquant, i wanted to wash my buds for once to clean of all the dirt, dust, insect remains and other particles that shouldnt be in my bud. I did the oh so underrated BUDWASH, and wauw if would deffinatly recommend it to every grower with just a few plants. It really cleans your buds without effecting your potency, terps and overall buds. I also noticed that all buds dried at the same rate cause of the evenly spead moisture i guess. I ended up with 48.34 grams of hard and dry buds I took about 10 grams and turned it into superdelicious rosin because i also love to dab 😍 Thank you growdiaries for this amazing platform. Very easy. Growing in bio bizz all mix which provides everything you need really for 3 to 4 weeks. Week 4 or 5 I'll begin some nutrients. Continuing to grow beautifully.

D-70 : At this stage, I'm a bit.... surprised that the Desfrans are not taller thant they are. The smallest one is 35cm wich is really small for a 100% sativa strain. The tallest one is about 56cm, wich is also quiet small I think. If I compare with some other diaries, the tallest one could be in the target if we take into account that I trained them a lot during their first weeks. But the small one is almost the half she should be... There's no sign of deficency, none ! I have 420w @ 50 cm from the top, so it's not because of the light. The container is a 20L smartpot. I simply do not understand. Is it juste because of that phenotype ? Will she grow during the next 7-9 weeks untill she'll recover her late ? I Modified a bit the position of the light so the Lumatek 100w FullSpectrum on the side of the box is really pointed to the "slow" girls. We'll see if it change anything but I really doubt about it... The only lead I have is : Desfran loves HEAT and Light. The 2 smallest are on the coldest side of the box, even if it's not cold at all. But it is the side near the window...

Week 2 underway and she's developing accordingly. Everything is in the soil so we continue to just let her sip from the reservoir thru the wicks. I'm still misting the top of the soil to make sure she's getting enough to drink.

I did some barrier as is the last week i can do foliar spray as these bastards but furthermore is really a red flag as u can create the conditions for contract some fungi. By a lot of having still figuring out the perfection of both illumination & thermals , still trying to enhance the light spectrum , and doing the first interaction with uv exposition to check that plants dont stress or physically burn, as i want to do the uv shit for late flowering as i expect by genetics this shit SHOULD BE A QUICK FLOWERING so, im entering to late flowering and do it for entire 4 weeks and then consider if plants show that are ripe enough, considering there is a quick underdeveloped automatic at bottom on a 12/12 scenario, and thus that motherfucker will not be forgiven by it unstability of this batch. 👻 Also i noticed i had slight fox-tailing that was quite provoked by messed up outside weather, so i still may need to ellaborate on lights to prevent excess of generated heat as well, as can incur in some penalty . I have a faint idea how to deal with as HEAT HERE WILL BE HELL.

Hey! My ladies are growing massive!! Tall and bushy! Eventually I had to change the height of the lights as I noticed some signs of hheet stress! After applying that big AC to the room, I could manage the heet but still the plants didn’t like it very much! So Im leave 1Veg/2Bloom lights on for 20h,but increase the lights for a few hours evry one a while to maximum. I also did my last defoliation and made a video for you guys . Best of luck!
