Die 2. Woche der Wachstums-Phase steht an...
...und die realität schlägt zu.
Hatte versucht diesen Run mit einem höheren VPD-Wert und dadurch ohne zusätzliches CalMag hinzufügen zumüssen, laufen zulassen. Da laut einer Studie, man durch einen erhöhten VPD, kein zusätzliches CalMag unter LED's hinzugefügt werden müsste. Allerdings gieße ich noch mit Leitungswasser.
Also hatte ich mir mal die werte meiner Stadtwerke angeschaut. Und in meinem Wasser habe ich Calcium = 78 mg/l und Magnesium = 5,3 mg/l und somit ein verhältnis von 14:1😰. Was von einer Optimalen versorgung von 2:1 - 4:1 CalMag etwas entfernt ist... 😅
Beste Lösung wäre ein Filtersystem wie der Watertrim zu nutzen. Günstiger ist es Mono-Magnesium (oder bei bedarf Mono-Calcium) zu besorgen und das Wasser im richtigen Verhältnis auszugleichen.

End of Week 5 (day 35):
She's stretching really well, displaying a dominant stem and shorter surrounding shoots that I believe comes from the Gelato #33 genetics. I've not really done much trimming or defoliation, yet she looks almost naked. Her leaves indicate some stress, but the vigorous growth and appetite say "full steam ahead, Mister."
With a sample size of one it's hard to know if she's the 1 in 5 chance Autoflower or not. I may pop the rest of the Gelato x GDP seeds out of curiosity at some point in the future, but its not a priority.

She looks very healthy and super super big,I did not expect such a big stretch in her first 2ndbweek of flower,she's such a big bushy girl,can't wait to see her in full flower 😍 💚. Love what I do man.

Day 85: what’s good guys? She’s looking and smelling great, temps are okay sitting at 25 for the most time and going down to the lowest of 16 at night. Humidity is sat at 30+ which is okay for her but not so great for my seedlings. I have a 400w hps bulb on the way so I’m hoping this will stop so much heat eating at the moisture. She still looks like she’s putting it on a bit but I think I can see quite a few cloudy trichomes and some ambers and a few clears so when she dries out next I’ll start feeding ph balanced filtered tap water for a week and see how the trichomes look. A lot of the fan leaves look like they’ve got a nitrogen deficiency maybe a slight bit of calcium too but being so late in flower I don’t think I need to worry about it. Very excited to see the changes as she finishes up! Any advice is greatly appreciated! Stay safe happy growing😎🍁
Edit: I’ve now started feeding her plain water. I gave her 2L of filtered ph 6.1 excited to see how she reacts to it.

Week 7 update on these big girls. The uniformity on this strain is wild. All the plants look very similar and have stacked great. Still early into flower but the sweet smell followed by the pungent smell of OG. Excited to see how the next couple weeks do. All in all Happy

This is what's left in the tent, the gelato is comin down tonight and maybe the 2 smaller lemon aks maybe tmm. The cream cookies and other lemon AK will come down soon too and then I can get some pics. The pineapple and blue dream get 1 more flush

Hello Growmies,
The final chapter of this incredible journey has unfolded, and it's time to share the bountiful harvest and reflections on the entire cultivation process. Trimming the plant was a joy, and with gentle fingers, I removed all the large fan leaves. The precision in this process revealed the true beauty of the buds, setting the stage for a smooth harvest. With care and gratitude, the plant was chopped, and the buds were hung to dry. The anticipation for what lies ahead only adds to the sense of accomplishment. The wet weight, excluding fan leaves, stands at an impressive 782 grams. The buds are massive, a testament to the efficacy of the nutrients used, particularly the Power Buds. The name seems apt, as the result is a collection of sticky, dense buds with subtle lemon notes and sweet pungent undertones. In the final moments, the plant unveiled some delightful purple hues. While I wish I could have allowed them to intensify further, it's a reminder that each grow is a learning experience. In hindsight, a slightly longer fading period would have accentuated those beautiful colors. We live and learn, and that's the essence of this journey.
A heartfelt thank you to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this amazing contest. The quality of the products and the support throughout the journey have been invaluable.
As this chapter concludes, I'm left with a sense of fulfillment and gratitude for the collective experience we've shared. The plant's growth, from seed to harvest, has been a testament to the art and science of cultivation.

Started training the main stems towards the corners. Pulled the runt and actually wanted to pull the second runt, but the roots of the two left plants are tangled and I didn't want to damage the healthy plant. Started lst with pipe cleaners

9/6 Week 8 And she is doing very well
No signs of any problems nuets doing a great job
Added another light, custom 90w LED

Buds beginning to form tent is VERY full doing what we can to alleviate some crowding
Built a cage around her tonight needed a few inches of room

Increased nuets due to purplish stems seen on the indicas. CocoTek to 10ml/gal A&B
Just trying to get things to behave in the tent its really full humidity is very low so thats helping
Took longer for things to get into full flower than we wanted, have to work on that.

This entire week was just rain, rain, rain. I kept the plants under the lamp. I'm really not prepared for indoor growing. But, light is light and it will work for a short time, apparently.

Entering in probably the last week of vegetation, the girl has grown well but with same yellow tips in the new growth. This week I gave 0.5 ml of bio grow per 3L of water and I've increased the fresh air supply on the bottom since the plant is getting the bloom phase. See you next week. Happy growing
