was a solid week. all green, all happy. the birthday cake auto seems to be coming around. so today i set the lights to 12 12 .. lets see how the flower. ive done all what i can in ability and space to set them up i hope. i find mixing nutrients in calcium water (thicker density, almost milk,) produces a quicker visible result in the plants and also you seem to get less variation in how they take the days feed. Sugar cane was very easy to grow with no issues whatsoever. I'm new to growing so they were easy by my standards. It was everything I had hoped it would be, as far as growing and appearance. I hope it will smoke as good as it looks! The aroma is a very mild, sweet smell, but man the frost on these! the Super sticky icky! 🤪 I would have preferred letting these go another week, but had to chop now because of upcoming circumstances. Didn't see the option to put the dried weight in but out of 3 Sugar cane, I got 9.1oz. Taking a hit of just dried Sugar Cane nug, I was surprised how smooth it was even before cure. Pine/gassy taste. A couple of hits and it was a very uplifting creative high. Then a creeper wave came on shortly after..... almost like that feeling when an edible kicks in and you forgot you ate one! Lol. I couldn't believe I was that high from a couple of hits! Two hit wonder stuff right here! This should last me quite a while!

I want to thank you Paul @New420GuySeeds for this beautiful plant. She's getting close to that time. I'm both excited and a little sad cuz we've done this grow together. Kinda a fucked up reality. Critical 47 has a few lower branches that are starting to drop due to the weight of the bud. I been curious if I could lop off some these baby branches at this stage without consequences.? Anybody know? Maybe sample the bud before the harvest.. would be nice. Ive been doing my best at snapshots of trichomes so I may get a better ETA of the due date. This will be my first ever to harvest anything more than a common cherry tomato. Lol. Any useful advice is welcome, start a chat if ya wanna!! I love company! And hey we already have a shared common interest! Gotta start somewhere. So critical 47 is sticky and smells up the whole house, no deficiencies noticed, growth has stopped as far as I can tell, yet she is still feeding without waste. I changed my regular fertilizer from the fox farm to Dr JimZ. With good results. The fox farm is a great fertilizer as well. I do mix the chicken soup for the soil with the fox farm trio. Cha Ching beastie blooms and open sesame. Dr. JimZ Bloom Kaboom is a once a month application for flowering plants. Good stuff. If I were to grow her again I would, an I would definitely put her in a larger container without the burlap sack. Don't use that crap it's no good. Lol. It's created a protective base under the soil for pests to dwell. I'm sure when I pull it all up there's gonna be a super complexed colony of mighty gnats, I think of some ancient Greece city with all the thrills and shit. Lol. Gnat overlords. My own damn fault. Gnats aren't that bad, they're just eating dead roots. There's definitely worse pests to have in the garden. "Nicole, how do you keep them so dark green?" Easy. I put used coffee grounds into my cannabis plants top soil. If I don't make a tea with it. You can find these helpful recipes @RoyalQueenSeeds with all the good info and instructions. I also make banana brew for my girls, it's rich with everything they need. Helps them grow strong. The coffee grounds help them maintain that healthy green glow (nitrogen). 04/02/22: Had some mishaps - I visited the grow room and various branches had fallen over due to the weight of the buds - big problem with large sativa breeds. I managed to use large garden sticks, cable ties and plastic clamps to secure them. Other than this plants all looking fine fine fine - large colas throughout - some are even starting to show brown pistils. smell is strong.
