Harvest day 70 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 16-18 degrees and 55-59% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. Unfortunately, the rating system at Growdiaries is a bit strange because I have to give the stars before the Smoke Report and in the end it might have led to more stars in terms of taste. . This was an amazing experience for my first grow. Was super unsure of what I was going to yield, but I think 27 grams is a realistic harvest and Im looking forward to see if I can get bit larger of a yield on the next run. I want to try main-lining, see for better energy distribution and more equal bud growth. Also investment into a proper reflector and possibly enclosed space. Note- I trimmed my plant the night before harvest morning. I removed than fan leaves to start, and then proceeded to trim the plant. I pulled out a lot of the leaves with no frost by hand. The sugar leaves had so much crystal on it I thought I would leave the smaller ones on the bud. I gave it a light trim, and used all the trim to make Isopropyl Alcahol (99%) based extract. Got about 1 gram from the run. I also had a nice little ball of finger charas from the trimming. I harvested it in the morning at about 04:30 am before the light cycle triggered at 7am. She hung and dried for about a week, where I then chopped her into buds. She cured for 2 weeks before i started smoking. Ask anything you want to know! week 2 Going from day 18 to day 24

Bud sites forming fast, awesome node spacing on a few in particular....their size is pretty close to what i was anticipating for stretch, I may do a medium defoliation once more before letting them just do their thing, i really hate stressing them much beyond 3 weeks of flower...

Unfortunately my digital timer was defective and made the flowering phase delay by 2 weeks. From one side, this delay allowed them to stretch a bit more. On the other side, it made me start giving bloom nuts with bad timing, thinking the bloom phase was already started. In other words, I gave bloom nuts in the last 2 weeks of veg. This means I’ll have to give them “week 3” bloom nuts for two more weeks, maybe reducing by 50% the B-52 and Big Bud dosages (they could be a little too much). Let’s now talk about the lady: well, she’s growing like a monster: 73cm!!!! She is the biggest of the grow room. She’s been growing 7-8 cm every day in the last days. That’s impressive! Woohoo, I love sativassssss! They will make you feel like a king, and they will be your queens 👸 By the way, sativas are WILD, and they make you sweat before showing their pistils. That’s what’s happening now. As well as the two Euphoria, they’ve not shown anything but a small pre-flower (not even a pistil for the moment). We’ll see in the next days. Кусты зацвели.За неделю 2 куста из 3 вытянулись аж на 30 см. Один куст почти не прибавил в росте, он на переднем плане фото и видео. Те что выросли- приобрели фруктово-цитрусовый аромат, и у них черешки листьев стали краснеть. Чтож, моего гроубокса явно мало для трёх растений. В будущем попробую автоцветы на балконе посадить, интересно как они там себя покажут.

Couple got a little burn I think maybe a little too much soil in there with the coco on top of the light feed? I got all the final pots filled up today they will go in 3 gal bags either today or tmm. It's a Greentree pro ultra coco/perlite mixed with some roots organic soil about 70/30.

She is just blowing my mind how quick it's growing .

Huge signs of progress this week! The smell has come in strong as well as the nice fat crystal flowers starting to plump up, Definitely a tall growing strain but all signs are pointing towards the yield being of a good quality! Have ordered a USB loupe that will be arriving tomorrow as the current is too hard for photos!

Her roots started coming out of the pot and was going into the gravity fed system about 5-6 days ago, trimmed her roots with a scissors slightly and elevated the pot for a few hours to air prune and is showing no signs of stress! Did a feeding today, I will be giving her 2 feeding a week for a few weeks during the beginning of flowering.

Ok, lets think about this logically - why are the leaves turning brown? it looks like a Calcium/Phosphorus issue, A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE THIS , is it a deficiency??? Unlikely in Hydro as the solution is more effective as there are no contaminants, so this leads me to believe its a lockout, what can cause this ? 2 things = A) Too Much Nutrient Potassium or B) ph is too low - SO to rectify this, i have added more water to the reservoir and raised the ph to 6.3 As i am using more water in the reservoir its entirely possible that when the water goes down,even though the EC stays the same the proportional concentrations of each nutrient can change - for example EC pen says 2.0 when i first fill with 20 litres, the plant drinks 4 litres of water and consumes lots of bloom A+B so when i put my pen in two days later the 16 litres of solution still reads 2.0 but there is a higher proportion of PK. Of course it could always be option C) these plants eat phosphorus for breakfast and need more ..😜 I have checked roots they all ok Wednesday- changed solution , made it slightly weaker EC 1.7 ph 6.2-3 Thursday I had a little chat on Instagram with mammoth , i think they might need less than usual Saturday - noticed some yellowing on the little plant , it’s a confusing as th3 other plants are all using the same nutrients and they are loving life , it might be the buckets , I am much preferring the size of the 35 litre ones , and the root structure is perfect , because the 45 litre boxes are more rectangular than square the roots are sort of sideways . Still waiting for some purple on the tall one 🤔 ITS VERY IMPORTANT IN DWC - Do not automatically think you need to add nutrients , in DWC it’s so much more efficient that less is more , 99% of the time it’s overdone it , normally the tips go brown first , but it’s some circumstance s The concentration can increase without you knowing , FIRST change solution with a little bit less , I usually go to 1.6-1.7 EC TOTAL and 6.3 ph that is a universal solution that provides enough without overdoing it . Welcome growers First fourteen days of flowering ended for these two BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE 🍰 The flowers are scattered and are more or less at the same ripeness for each 🌻🌻 Ten days ago the plants were suffering a little and now they show some difficulties.. But that's nothing too worrying ! In these cases there will be "problems" only at the level of final yield.. But I think I saved them in time 🏥 We will see in the coming weeks.. I really feel like I am learning SO MUCH with this grow, heaps of things I could improve on next time. 😺 Day 28 - I fed her a 420ppm nutrient solution, and as I was watering her a fair bit got on her leaves. I shook it off her but a few drops on her lower fan leaves were stuck. So I grabbed the droplets with my finger and smeared them into the leaf. Big mistake, next day the leaves were all burnt! 😡😲 The upper fan leaves that I didn't touch were fine, the leaf tips were fine also. Day 30 - Plant really looking happy now, growing nicely and stretching up towards the light. The 4th set of fan leaves still 3 pronged (has grown cotyledons, then true leaves with 1, 3, 3 and 3 prongs). The 5th set of fan leaves is now visible as a bud in the center, and I can see that this set has 5 prongs. So was likely the stress that made the first sets of leaves 3 pronged. Day 30 - I really want the plant to be BUSHY to take advantage of this small light and surround it, so I decided to try FIMMING today! The middle bud was at the perfect age for this so took the opportunity, I hope she can handle it. Happy to sacrifice a bit of yield to get more buds closer to the light for a more consistent quality. If you think that yield is more important and I shouldn't do this, here is a fact for you, over the last 5 years I have gone through about 30g of bud with me and one friend, we have some about once a month or two. So yeah I don't care about yield just quality 👌. Day 34 - Female preflower showing! Shit this means she will be into bloom soon, and still so far behind where I wanted her. Researched on the interwebs and found that I could still have a good 2 weeks of fast vegetative growth at this point. I realised my last feed was only 1/3 strength fertilizer. Time to feed her a decent meal, GO STRONG OR GO HOME! I fed her 5L of pH 5.9, ppm = 775 - with 20ml of Canna Rapid combined A&B

So I am halfway through my first harvest and I'm starting to feel like I may have been impatient! Would appreciate any advice or constructive criticism from any experienced growers out there! Do you think I harvest the rest of my plant now or leave it a while? Any tips/hints on the best way to maximize bud density? Thanks in advance
