10/14 - A new week of flower begins. Watered today with just short of a gallon of water. Look forward to see what the next couple weeks bring. She is becoming quite the looker already, and can only imagine that a bit more purple/frost will only amplify the look. 10/18 - Watered today, just under a gallon again. 10/20 - Another week is down. I hope to see those newest tufts of pistils from a week or 2 ago start to fade in color, and really hope to find some amber trichomes soon. I would expect somewhere in the 2-3 week range for her, hopefully, fingers crossed.

This grow turned out to be quite a journey. Originally, this run was meant to be a simple between-grow project, something to keep the season going outdoors, without too much effort. But plans changed, and the Orange Sherbet ended up in the tent, where it took a completely different direction than expected. She grew big and strong early on, but the LST was tricky. she didn’t respond very well at first, and shaping her the way I wanted took a lot of time and patience. It was interesting to see how she stretched and filled out later, but overall, the structure stayed somewhat awkward to manage. Throughout the grow I struggled with CalMag and potassium balance. I tried several adjustments, sometimes with high CalMag doses, but it never fully stabilized. It’s still unclear if that came from the strain itself or from the BioBizz line, but it made the mid-to-late phase more difficult than I had hoped. The flowering time was also much longer than advertised. the breeder mentions around 9 weeks, but in reality this one took closer to 14–15 weeks total. What was supposed to be a quick side project turned into a long, demanding run. On the bright side, she delivered a very solid yield. a bit over 160 g of trimmed buds plus another 50 g of popcorn, well above 1 g/W. The aroma is lovely after 10 days of curing: creamy, with vanilla and a subtle orange note returning. However, the buds are airy, not as dense as I hoped. The effect and flavor are great, but visually it’s more on the average side. Even so, this grow was one of the most instructive I’ve done. I learned a lot about deficiency management, humidity control, watering and how far genetics and environment interact. Going forward, I’ll take a break from autos and focus on photoperiod strains again. I just prefer the control and predictability they offer. All in all: not my prettiest grow, but a very valuable one. About drying in dry ferm/dry age and regular drying: the material in the bags took a few days longer to dry which is said to be good (regular dry was 7 days, bags was 9 or 10). initially I think the buds from bags look better but now in curing I can't really tell a difference, not visually and not in the nose. Let's see how everything evolves over time but honestly I am not expecting it to differ a lot from regular drying.

Had the light way to far away and i also dimed it. It made her stretch a lot. Most of the stretch is under the clay balls things. So what to remember is that i need to hang the lights closer next time. Roots also started to peek out underneath the net.

Day 107 The Mars Hydro TS1000 has been at 100% light intensity for 2 days now and the plants seem to be loving the new light. Slowly seeing buds starting to fill in more and more. Day 108 The ladies are both looking wonderful! The bud sites are starting to fill in nicely, the Mars Hydro TS1000 has made a huge difference in progressing flower. Eternity Grow Cup - Week 9 Veg Update We are stepping into Week 9 of vegetation, and things are getting exciting! The plants are thriving—compact, bushy, and growing beautifully. This week, we introduced a SCROG (Screen of Green) net, an essential tool for maximizing yield and optimizing plant structure. Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. For now, the focus is on structuring the plants and ensuring they fill out the available space properly. Optimizing Airflow - The Vortex Effect Air circulation is crucial for plant health, and this week, we’ve optimized airflow by positioning the fans to create a vortex effect: Fan Positioning: Each fan is placed at the tent corners, pointing in different directions, ensuring dynamic airflow instead of direct wind hitting the plants. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. The environmental conditions remain stable: Temperature: Holding steady at ideal growth levels. Relative Humidity: Balanced to encourage healthy transpiration. PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density): Kept at optimal levels to support vigorous vegetative growth. CO₂ Levels: Elevated but within safe limits, promoting faster growth. The plants are filling the space beautifully, but we know that the flip to flower is approaching soon! Final product is been absolutely amazing on these clones - the jungle came out about average but the clones definitely exceeded expectations there absolute fire in comparison but still just as good hopefully I can just improve a few issues we had on this run and dial right in 100% will be so much better, next few run is going to be special I’ve got a few things lined up. From tester packs to breeders packs I can hunt from. So lots to choose from but what to keep to run will be interesting

Hoping these girls start to bulk up soon. This is all organic- just being fed with water, glucose, and the Gaia Green soil bloom nutrient top dressings every other week. Goal is to see what I can do with bare minimum and then press the yields with nutrient feedings in the future. Anyone with organic growing experience - these look normal size for where we are at in flower? I know we have a month or so to go but the roots seem to be pretty compacted at this point in 5 gallons pots. I think I’d go to 3 - 10 gallon fabric pots for next grow.
