As the plants are ripening and getting closer to harvest, I'm continuing to lower ppm levels while managing bucket water levels and ph. We're exactly at day 56 of flower (5/5/23) on Cinco de Mayo. The PBCRbx reflects a flowering time of 60-63 days, so no more nutrients at this point. I'll continue to monitor Trichomes through next week (i.e., week 9 of flower). Once I see more amber (approximately 20-25%), I will begin a 2-3 day flush with straight RO water. At that point, she is ready to come down. The last bucket change between week 7 and week 8 strictly followed GH's recommended dosage. That bucket change out brought an end to the ph swings she was beginning to experience. After the change out, the balance between water consumption, nutrient uptake, and ph is spot on. Specifically, while plant is up taking water, ph and ppm have maintained stability. She's looking and smelling incredible. Man those ETHOS beans are the bomb. There is a learning curve with DWC - no lie - but I've enjoyed the experience. That said, and if I had dialed her in from the start, she would have produced even better. Gratitude and thanks to ETHOS!

Day 78- She is ready with about 5-10% Amber Trichomes. I can’t tell you how Amazballs she smells. Super limey like a green sour patch kid. So frosty I couldn’t be happier with Xmas around the corner I am going to be blitzed off of this for the Holiday😎 . Going into 2 days of dark then the choppers. I will upload more pictures beofore I chop and hang her. I defanned her before the dark period so I can just chop and full plant hang for about 10 days. Then into jars for cure. Chopped Her and came out to 597 grams full plant. Can’t believe I got her on my scale but I did and was epic.

Day68 HARVEST DAY big buds

Still having major problems with fungus gnats and the populations have exploded! So I ended up doing a drench of hydrogen peroxide to kill all the eggs on contact that where in the top inch or so of the pots. Also on the pots that where worse I added sand to the top just as an extra precaution. I added my second and final layer of trellis. I mostly use the trellis for support and for spreading out the canopy and opening up the lower bud sites to the light. We can see the bud sites are starting to set and are looking pretty great for 2 weeks of flower!

Por dónde empezar, las flores son bien compactas y van repletas de resina son muy pegajosas, tienen tonos verdes bonitos, y tiene unos aromas dulces y exóticos bastante marcados con toques terrosos. Es muy sencilla de cultivar, es de ciclo de 2 meses y medio, pero bien agradecida, tiene buenos satélites, de las que plante de fastbuds, podría decir que mi favorita hasta el momento. I got a week and a half notice that I had to go on a work trip out of country for 10 days, so the clown show continued. I was definitely overwatering them. Thanks @shinsimilla, I saw the difference after waiting a few extra days. Also, I definitely should have started LST at least a week earlier than I did. Now for work issues: I found an old security camera that the cats had knocked over a million times and damaged. With a lot of tape, I got it working again and set up in the tent so I could see what’s going on while gone. Be warned, the photos are NOT good quality. I also looked up DIY self-watering systems. I needed it as simple as possible to reduce the risk of something breaking while I was thousands of miles away. I found one where it wicks water up a cotton or wool string. I took two long planters, lined them with a construction garbage bag to be the reservoirs. Even though the floor of the grow tent is waterproof and I put plastic between the floor and outside of the grow tent, I didn’t want to risk any water getting out while I was away. I was nervous y’all. Basically, you wet the fabric then use a chopstick to run the it through the plant from bottom to top. It needs to be long enough to have a few inches sitting in the bottom of the reservoir. I filled each with 3L of water with the BioBizz nutrients mixed in and ph’d to 6.1. More info in week 5.

Semana 2 de floração e estão respondendo bem pela aparencia!ate o momento não apresentou nada de deficiência ou over!tive que levá-las a um novo lugar por motivos maiores!e agora ja estão na cabine de cultivo indoor novamente! Algumas delas apresentou bananas de macho pela genetica da mãe que tb apresentou e floriu normalmente depois que tirei fora os sacos de pólen!espero que consiga o mesmo resultado dos cultivo anteriores!por enquanto é isso e proxima semana tem mais!boas colheitas!
