She is almost done! I am flushing her out for 2 weeks. She is such a gorgeous plant. She produced some nice buds. This is one of the stickiest plants I have ever grown. She was really easy to grow and never gave me any problems during the grow process.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. This week we are ready to bring the Pineapple Express and blue dream inside for a dark period for chopping. The sour diesel and northern lights should be ready next week. Expert haze is pre flowering and the clone is showing small roots.

Lookin good, no more herms so far as I’ve tightened things up hopefully that’s the last of them for good. I installed a 4Inch AC infinity fan and filter as an intake so I have been able to close all of the vents. At this point the leaf strip has proven to be a solid method, I have nothing to compare bud size at this point but just the extra space it opened up is a plus. I’m sure the lowers will be a little more firm and the plants obviously haven’t had to be fed as often as usual so its saving time, water and nutrients. The added microbes have also allowed me to keep my ppm around 1000 instead of 1080ish without any sign of deficiencies. The Mandarin cookies x Dionysus has a little cal-mag issue but that was a trait from the mother which out of 10+ grows all had a cal-mag deficency. Beginning of week 6 and all is still good. She’s got some nice big frosty nugs on her all over the place. She stretched out more then my other 3 obi-wan so her buds are more spread out then the other indica dominated plants around her. Hers are the frostiest nugs of them all though, even got a bunch of her guard leaves covered in tricombs. Loving this girl so far in this setup, I’ve done her before in a smaller tent under cheap Led lights in DWC and got good results, but this girl is knocking it outside the park so far for ease of growing it and what she produces no matter how you grow her. I am impressed by the growth and health of this babe.. many branch sides with many top buds.. the smell is amazing, that good gelato we all know.. let’s fatten it up and I can’t wait to smoke it.. let’s go

Since this was a first grow, I treated mostly as a learning experience. I had one other plant of the same strain two weeks behind this one. I was happy with the bud structure, nice and dense and they trimmed up nice. I never did get any plant aromas while it was growing. I'm posting this after I've dried and cured both plants. I didn't dry this one properly and the hay smell ended up pretty strong during dry and didn't go away enough during cure. So end result was pretty nugs that smelled a bit of hay and wasn't potent at all. My fault, I don't blame the genetics. I realize now I was underwatering and that better equipment equals better results.

The blue/purple hue in the buds is starting to come through under the shimmering trichomes, the size and density of these buds is blowing me away. week 8 is at an end and i am avidly checking trichomes awaiting the end. the fade is in full effect

By week 5, I could clearly see the difference between the two auto plants. The first one, I purposely used the LST technique to inhibit. And the second one, I let it grow naturally. The result is that naturally grown plant tend to thrive and flowering faster than the other. When the plants showed signs of flowering, I tried to make the plants thirsty without watering for 2 days, then watered the plants with nutrient solution so the plants could absorb the nutrients well. The results are very positive. I will keep updating, please follow my diaries if you are interested. Peace!
