Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. Cant take my eyes off my plant. This is my second round of growing and I am the type of person who learns through failure (not gonna upload the pics of the first round plants lol). The buds are thickening up very nicely. Hoping to get between 3-4oz , the strain is high yielding but I have a smaller tent. My auto yielded 2oz with the same space (2 plants in one tent splitting the space), but the buds definitely didn't develop as well as these buds.

All has been well so far in this 1st week. Noticed fungus gnats in my soil going into day 4 so I top dressed my soil (fox farm happy frog) with play sand and also I hung a sticky fly trap inside my grow tent. No signs of fungus gnats. Looking forward to lots of growth going into week 2

First pic is showing off some of the stretch that has occurred. We start “Above the Stakes”this week. -Sun 10th; it looks like the R plant is making a solid effort in its Stretch, which has just begun & is really happening. The L plant is flourishing and nearing the end of its own stretch. There is an image of the pair with 3’ showing on a tape measure as reference. Jan 11 Good things are happening as the circle of branches starts fill in ! ** as a side note, the Uv-B is going back on for 6hrs a cycle (3+3) after some more reading and the recent stretch action from the plant on the R. Nothing wrong with a weeks delay in nature between sisters & UV-B sounds like solid tech. Power is on again ** - Dinner-time after 4 days. - Hole drilled in overhead corner-bracket, to help Centre the Light. - Plants have been rotated a bit, LST (lashing-some-timber lol) re-positioned a bunch of branches/stakes, meshing the two plants together, in the middle. nuf snapshots. details as the week-ends. -Nutrient ratios are Max’d as the volume will continue to climb for 2 more big feeds. -rapid-start & cal/mg have already been dialed back a bit. My watering volume per/24hr now shows my water use in metric. That # is based on the last 2 meals and I’m now looking at 5 days without nutes... 14th, Steady progress all the way round. Moving lights and supports as needed. Reach continues on the Right plant, while the Left continues to look amazing -molasses in next feed (Sat), TDS to be updated 15th -the volume of water my plants have been receiving, has been larger each of the last 4 feedings. Extra time between feeds has been allotted and watering based on Pot weight/dryness is keeping the plants Full and Green. -The next feed will be half the volume of the last one. The goal tomorrow (day 5 since last feed) is to immediately satisfy the plants nutritional needs with a small meal (7 litres/2), but then it’s going to scream for more food. This time I will wait only 2 days and return to the larger volume and a 4-5 day cycle. That’s the plan. Goal was to raise both the volume and demand for more nutrients. (Without creating a swamp) It’s been kind of patchwork getting the numbers-up, and this is the first pause in that steady climb. Both plants seem to be firing in all cylinders. Sun Jan17 - adding Molasses to each feeding from Week 5 on in to harvest. - 2 days since last half-feed. Big feed tonight and 5 day gap next. -Reached my Max H2o volume with solid Nutrition #’s. I harvested at 65 days. Dried for about a week and a half at 55% - 60% humidity and about a constant 61 degrees. barely it in the tent to dry and it was just one plant. It made about 200g trimmed , it was way more than I expected. Easily got over 1 gram per watt since I only could keep the light at 75% because it was too close to the plant. Trimming was the easiest Ive had so far and only took a day with a friend.

Today is day 56 and things are looking pretty good. Watered with half strength nutrients and will probably switch to straight water in the next couple days. The smell has really developed over the past couple weeks, I would say it was weak and just sweet/fresh but now it hits hard with sweet cream and funk/gas.

Zealix is growing great. She has a nice layer of frost on her. She is doing some bulking, and starting to get a aroma. Everything is looking good.
