Almost to flower lighting. Doing a high frequency fertigation. Due to the properties of the growing medium. Made up of pretreated coco coir at about 70%, the rest is perlite. It seems to be difficult to overwater. I found the coco for cannabis website and have been following their recommendations for feeding twice a day. Trying to keep the run off water at 20-30% of what I add to the top of the pot. EC readings comparisons to input values have made watering twice a day with less total water each time. Is the only way to keep my ec measurements within 400 or .400 depending on the meter. Of the input. So I don't want the run off to read higher than 400 micro semens ec reading than the original solution fed to the plant. Going to stick with it. Purple stems are on all the plants. So magnesium is not being absorbed as well or I don't know. Not enough in the nutrients. I'm skeptical to use magnesium sulfate. Very alkaline.

Buds are really fattening up. Now comes the difficult part, deciding when to start the flush and then when to harvest. With likely warming days, quite likely an early harvest is on the cards so I can avoid curing in a hot tin shed. Closely monitoring the extended forecast to hopefully harvest at the perfect time as all will be wasted if curing in a 30c tent. At the moment due to a changing forecast its possible I will only achieve a 5 day flush, and have 3 days to cure in mild temps. Unfortunately from then it looks.like things seriously heat up, if extended curing is required then likely I'll bring in side the house in mason jars during the heat of the day then cure further on the drying rack in my tin shed till during the cooler evenings until ready. No. I know this isn't ideal but I've done this previously and always ended up with good.buds just way more effort that's for sure. This being a secret grow has additional challenges that's for sure. My wife, and 2 teenage kids have no idea what goes on in this shed as to their knowledge only garden tools are stored here, if anyone in my house did gardening apart from me then this grow would be impossible that's for sure

Today I gave the little lady nutrients for the first time according to the fertilizer scheme of "Biobizz" Juju Royal Grow Soldier 0.4ml/L and Juju Royal Green Mystic 0.1ml/L. She has a nice bright green color, the first 3 finger leaves are forming, she gets several leaf sprays a day, at this moment I dim my lamp down from 65% to 20% to avoid some damage. My little tower fan provides the lady with the little breeze she needs to strengthen her stem. I'm glad you stopped by and will update you next week as usual. 03/11/24- had determined last week that my runoff ph was crazy.. leaves darkened and clawing (N tox) and also a freaking mag deficiency. For the 3 past waterings I’ve given nothing but dechlorinated non ph’d water (tap water’s alkaline af) and epsom salts. The girls perked up and seem pretty happy. I’m going to give the calmag I have that claims to be N free, that has some micros and then some bloom only. I’m hoping stretch is over because it’s turning into a jungle. The frost on these things looks amazing already. The smell? Yeah.. can’t really describe it but it’s kinda offensive LOL

More Incredible Developments this week! I started adding General Hydroponics Bud on the first watering of the third week of flower - it has resulted in some surprisingly big and fast growth over the past week. You can see from going to the previous week and this one, the bud sites seem to just getting fatter and searching out for their neighbors above and below them with the white pistils - I know I keep saying this but as a lifetime cannabis user, this is the first time I have had the opportunity to watch my own garden closely through the entire plants development and life cycle, and so far this is VERY exciting and entertaining to see the developments each day. The topping and LST techniques I used (no experience, only watching videos and researching) have resulted in my plants taking on almost a bowl or basket shape, where the outside branches have reached far far above the middle canopy during their "final stretch" or first week or two of flowering. Now, the middle of all of my plants have numerous smaller bud sites that are developing - I am looking forward to how the lower canopy buds develop! I am currently watering them every other day - 8 cups of water each. This past week I increased their water intake from 6 cups to 8 cups - So far I am seeing no sign of stress in any way shape or form - only VERY happy plants working on bulking up on their flowers. I plan on letting them do their thing and working on maintaining their environment so it stays consistent. Definitely a big increase in smell this week - the Cherry Gorilla x Sol Sonic seem to be moving along and bulking up a little more than the GMO. When picking leaves off the GMO, I can already start to smell and recognize hints of the tremendous gas garlic stank I have been looking forward to - Appreciate the Likes and Follows! The plants been topped around 40 times over the 18 weeks, 18 cuttings that were taken 3 weeks ago. My first attempt at the lollipop technique , nice little defoliation and a good top dress of Dr organics living soil amendments. I have absolutely no idea what’s around the corner when this is flipped😅 but the scrog nets deffo making an appearance😂 keep an eye out for the diary of her little sisters, there already looking 💥… untill next time 👊🏻

The autos are all doing pretty good, some minor deficiencies from early on but seem to be doing much better now since I got the new bottle of calmag. They probly have another 3 weeks left I'm guessing they are fattening up nicely tho.

Day 14 flower Hey Growers So day 14 of flower, I decided to defoliate as the tent was getting so overgrown. They are drying out quickly and the media is dense with roots. They are going to require daily watering very shortly. They seem quite happy and doing well. You can see in one of the pictures, the leaf edge is raised, which idk exactly what that is. I’ve decreased the light to 70% until I know how they’ll react. Other than that just put in the trellis to support the tops. Happy Growing 🌱

Some great growth over the past few days, Jack is starting to stretch his legs for sure! To ensure there’s no issues with height, I decided to Top him, I’m not really going to apply any other methods of LST other than gentle defoliation and lead tucking. Jack has been fed regularly BioBizz nutrients and some beneficial bacteria to support the mediums microbiology 🤓✌️👍 Let’s see what the next week holds for Jack, he’s under a 250watt dual spectrum HPS for the rest of his life now ☀️ 😎 See you all next week! ✌️👊

Super Impressed with Dutch Passion Genetics....This lady is an absolute beast, as soon as I open the tent the smell of blueberry smacks me in the face....Super Excited to smoke this pig, and super impressed with my first grow by Dutch Passion...I will absolutely be trying this strain again, as well as some other Pheno's from DP.
