This really is a beast. I just defoliated the bottom third or so and a set of the top fan leaves every week. She got put on 12/12 a few days ago and now I'm seeing flowering hairs

Good start to the week temps dropping slightly. Some light defoliation and tucked a few branches under the trellis for light penatration a little video in there looks like the stretch has calmed down focusing on producing flower now ... 09/12 a little problem went to find my trellis had come of the clips pulling my canopy into one big ball sorted it and put a pic up of the day after so no major problems or snapped branches luckily thanks for reading happy growing

Added a top layer of soil with added nutes so that only needed to water normally and let the top mix do the work down below. Will mix in more compost tea every other day and towards the end of the week, hit it with my normal organic nutes mix. The plant is looking healthy and continues to flower out and each cola is starting to thicken nicely. I have a few leaves here and there showing some discoloration so will watch closely to ensure I don’t have a light or nute issue. Will move the light intensity to 80% on the LED panels after this next week and as long as the leaves still look good. The grow room is fairly warm (80F) and rH is high (75 – 80rH) but my CO2 levels are fairly high as well so the plants should be fine. Running 2 x HO Solarcure UVBs for 2 hours about an hour after the LED lights turn on at the beginning of the 12 hour set and for 2 hours about an hour before the LEDs turn off at the end of the set.

Start of week 4 of flowering. Week 3 went well, even with temps reaching 35°c in the closet. I've since added another fan to circulate more air, temps have dropped down to 31°c. Despite the heat stress, the plants are growing rather well and bud sites are developing nicely. Light defoliation again this feeding. Based on the heat issues, I need to upgrade my exhaust fan, 100 CFM isn't enough to get ride of the heat.

This grow gets a ten out of ten from me on behavioral attributes on how she grew through out all the stages of life. Vegging was an absolute pleasure, she thrived off the 125g of amendments, cal-mag, and kelp all the way to day 30. Once I noticed flower development I proceeded to give her, her first feeding of grow and bloom nutrients both at the same time @ a diluted mixture of 25% then proceeded to increase increments as needed into flower, cutting out the grow after two feedings. She has been to date one of the cheapest grows I've ever had, all that's left is to harvest, cure and smoke for the final conclusion on 3 bears auto from Mephisto. Hats off to the boys over there! All this did was get me excited to grow the remaining Mephistos I have stored away!

I just cant get over how well things are going!!!! I've come so far in only 3 generations of plants! Today I did my FIRST DEFOLIATION EVER!!!!! It went so well!!! Shout out to Bill Ward for having some good views to brush up on! My first grow I didnt have enough leaves to defol and last grow I was to scared to lol. This time I made them my bitch!!!! It was EASY! NEVER BE AFRAID OF YOUR PLANTS!!!! I'm tinkering with the light so they aren't super happy atm. I turned on the exhaust and the Vaporizer. I also raised the light to 2ft and will try to consistently keep the light at that distance. I bumped up the nuets to 2ml. I'm a little lower than my schedule called for but i might bump it this week. Gonna watch the ladies! I tested the runoff and its 6.1, perfect. Starting to see how the plant is gonna look. __________________________________________________________________________________________ The plants came down with some spots. i did some reading and i came to the conclusion that they needed a bit more cal-mag. I also had noticed some of the newer growth had reddish stems too. I checked my discords and that's what they thought too!!! I was going to bump it anyway bc I've seen alot of diaries on here with ALOT more Cal-mag than me. Otherwise they look great! I got them out tonight for a light watering and noticed they had grown like 4or5 inches! Go Baby Go! __________________________________________________________________________________________ I fed them this evening and gave them a small haircut for some light penetration. I put a few spacers in that I printed and they seemed to help salvage my LST. I think the stakes dont hold up to the plant. Next Grow I will use wire. Still monitoring the leaves and while its slowly spreading I don't think I will see the effects of the extra calmag for a while. I have double downed on my videos, working on editing and hope to really develop my dairies! __________________________________________________________________ Things are going great as we wrap up the week. The plants are almost fighting for space in the tent, and i'm dialing in how much water the pots hold, I think this is the sweet spot size. Defoliated about 20 leaves, just a trim and tuck. I didn't do well at LST at all this round, i noticed all the main stems are ramrod straight, but using the spacers seems to be making the plants into pretty nice lil trees. I think the best part is right around the corner!!! Its about to get very pretty up in there!

Day 49 Flower Hey Growers. I did a flush last week to get my runoff closer to 1050. I’m not sure why this happens that I get tip burn doing FFW. Maybe I start ramping up flower nutes too much too quickly. I have tip burn on my Blue Dream too. I’ve gotta come up with a solution as it buggers everything up. Flushing and Dealing with tip burn instead of packing on size. This is a 10 wk strain so I’m not as concerned cuz there’s lots of time and I think I got ahead of it. The nugs are smaller, marble to golf ball sized but hard as a rock already. The smell is of over ripe lemon when it get that sweet and Hazey earthy woody characteristic. I’m going to feed 2 more weeks and try the Advanced Nutrient Overdrive that I have kicking around. Then flush heavy for 1 ish weeks and hopefully get a nice fade. The Vipar spectra XS2000 is doing a great job, it has me wondering if I could use it to flower a 4x4 of autos. Its super strong. My poor man’s light mover has the plants getting a ton of light every other day with a nice rest in between. There is no light burn or yellowing, a tiny bit of leaf edge curl that goes away during its rest day. I am very happy with this light and know it’ll blow up whatever I run in here next. Chopped on Day 70 (September 6th, 2020) 9/6/20: Hung her to dry after taking off most of her fan leaves. I decided to hang the whole plant this time around to see if it helps my dry quality. Will update with pictures soon. 9/12/20: Trimmed her up today after feeling that the nugs were crispy and dry. First couple days of dry we were experiencing a bit of a heat wave and high humidity levels (fluctuating from 60-75%). During the final days of drying we had rain and then it cooled off and dried out lowering my rh in the tent to around 50%. That crisped the nugs right up in 2 days and I decided it was time to pull her out and trim her up. The nugs were so incredibly sticky and smelled of chem. They are really dense despite their look especially the main cola nugs. Still smelling a bit like hay but I'm confident that the curing process will take care of that. I am curing with Boveda 58% rh packs in each jar and a hydrometer as well. Not going to test a nug until at least a week or two of curing or until I run out of Sour Crack lol. Will update with a smoke report. 9/28/20: So it's been just over 2 weeks of curing so far. When I first put the nugs in the jar, I was worried they were a bit too dry/crispy for what I was hoping for, but after 2 weeks of curing the nugs aren't as crackly sounding in my hands. I cured with Boveda 58% rh packs and mason jars as seen in the pictures. **SMOKE REPORT** 9/28/20 - 2 weeks of curing: The smell of this strain is a really unique one, or maybe the pheno that I got is. It smells fruity for sure but it has this gas smell to it that almost smells chemical but in a good way. I marked down tropical above because the combo of pungent fruit almost brings out a sweet cocktail aroma. After really thinking about it, I've never smelled weed with a scent quite like this one! The smoke was smooth in my freshly cleaned bong and I'm decently high. I feel pretty tired but I'm ready to do something like game or make music. I don't feel hungry (yet) but my throat is begging for a drink. I'm happy that I have now smoked my own home grown weed twice!
