These girls got lollipopped and a defoliation this week. I think having some more air flow at the pots level they'll get the dryback I'm shooting for. Now they'll also be able to focus all there energy on the top colas. All in all Happy Growing.

The final stretch. She MAY be foxtailing a bit, but she’s a 9-10 weeker (more typical?), pretty even throughout plant (so likely genetic?), and I plan to harvest in max 1 week so we will ride it out. This week has been all about maturation. I’ve been watering only with plain water, starting the flush to clean the roots before harvest. The buds are looking dense and compact, covered in a nice layer of trichomes that keep getting frostier day by day. The lower leaves are yellowing, which is normal at this stage since the plant is using up the remaining nutrients stored in the foliage. Trichomes are mostly clear with some turning milky, so I think she will be ready for harvest in about a week. Overall, the plant looks healthy and stable, with tight bud formation and a great aroma coming out. Even though she stayed quite small, she’s packing some nice, solid flowers. Watering: only water (about 600 ml)Environment: stable and controlled Stage: late flowering / flushing phase Next: monitor trichomes daily and prepare for harvest

Weekly update on these absolutely gorgeous girls. I was gone for the beginning of the week and came back today and I swear the flowers have doubled in size. They're smelling super strong and gassy. The flowers are dense as rocks so I hope with the summer heats they'll stay that way and not become airy. All in all Happy Growing.

Greetings and salutations GD peeps. Let the peaceful transition of flower begin! It is the first week of flower and the scrog is filling out nicely. I had some issues with a GFI popping and my lights would miss a few hours in the 18/6 light shedule over the last week. Rather than stress them any more than they already have been with the mini blackouts I flipped them to flower this week. I also changed the circuit the Tent was on and it seems to be consistent. A massive feeding this week for early flower, I bumped the bloom by 2 ml/gal on top of the normal feeding chart. My rational is I have topped these ladies and there are far more bud sites than before, will see if it has any effect + or - I have also done some selective defoliation to promote light pentation to the lower bud sites that have branched out from the topping 2 weeks ago. I have a small number of LEDs on one of my lights that have stopped working. The light an older amazon Chinese cheap O has 85% of the lights working. My footprint of the tent to the w/sqft is with in range. I have read and heard 35-50 watts per square foot of area as a general rule is good. now you can get in to PAR and lumens etc. but that's a whole different conversation. The light might be why the GFI was popping? I will figure that out after the grow. for now its all about FLOWER POWER and the scrog fulfilling its destiny. peace ya'll be kind to your fellow humans and hybrids.

Now we've reached day 25. We are in the transition phase, pre-flowering if you want, when the seedlings reveal their sex by showing the white fluff or the boyish balls. Here and in all F1 Hybrids you can be SURE, SURE as death that you will never see any balls. If you have underestimated this aspect of the F1 Hybrid, go back and think about how many times you found the balls on the paint, full of pollen that fertilized your ladies. Do you like having young ladies impregnate you? Absolutely not for me and this is a very valid reason why you can choose the F1 Hybrid. Really guys the seeds suck and the genetics of the various breeders if they don't do a job like this it means that they are super hybrid poles with genetic traces scattered here and there. I gave the recommended doses even a little less to tell the truth of both Aptus and Plagron and the plants more or less all have these small signs of over. LITTLE guys, wait until the end to save if you feel like it, or at least I recommend it. To fix this little thing we go to flush with pH 6.2 and only give Aptus Regulator which should rebalance the plant and soil before delicately moving on to fertilizers for flowering.
