7/24/23 - Day 42 - Ok, so where to start? I'm going to go over the last couple days of issues/troubleshooting. We had an issue with the lights not coming on for a whole day/night cycle. That was a couple of days ago, and everything seems okay since then. I had some Canoeing/tacoing on the leaves once the lights were back on. I think I had the PH too low, 5.8. In flower, I should start moving it up the scale. Once I corrected the PH to 6.2, the canoeing/tacoing in the leaves seemed to be gone/almost gone. I'm REALLY worried about the height of the plant. She is only 12 in. from the light that I cannot move. I added a second scrogg net???? I don't know if that's done a lot, but I'm going to try and stop if from growing straight up. I think the best I can do is give it a lean. So Ill call this the ScoggGL (GangstaLean). You'll see some pictures up top as I start the ScoggGL I did the first big trim and pulled a 3-gallon bucket of fan leaves out. I cut off a few side branches I didn't want the plant to waste energy on. I trimmed so many leaves off it was crazy. The smells have been awesome! You all know the smell of the fresh plant stems and leaves as you trim and rub across them. It's one of my favorite smells, which is in full effect. I noticed that I have some pistils growing. I know what that means, shes going to have some flowers here in the next week. I couldn't be more excited!!!!! The roots are just downright ruthless; they have been growing out of control. I have a great picture of them in there with no water. I should note that I did two things that might have solved the Tacoing in the leaves. It could have been one or the other, but it also could be a combo of both things. I did the trimming to get some airflow between the leaves and changed the target for my PH from 5.8 to 6.2. When moving into flowering, I should have already done that. But I did both things while the leaves were Tacoing, and now they are not. I wanted to make sure I noted that. 7/26/23 - Day 44 - Things are looking great. No more tacoing, she's growing and still drinking about 2+ gallons a day of water. I hope the vertical growth stops soon, I want to remove a ton more fan leaves, and I'm hoping that it spends more time growing around than up, I'm keeping some leaves on just to slow some vertical growth. 7/27/23 - Day 45 - She's sleeping right now, but I will chop some more fan leaves when she wakes up. She's growing too tall, and I need to find a way to stop her. I think shocking her system will help stunt her growth. How crazy is this, what a conundrum I'm in. Normally I stress out trying to find the right time to trim to avoid stunting growth. I always keep my plants busy and do one or two chops. I think they need to grow as mother nature intended. Let them grow and do one, maybe two fan leave chops. That's always been my motto and its always worked out great for me. This is now the exact opposite. Feels weird even thinking about it, doing a leave chop two weeks into flower..... ARE YOU INSANE!!!!!! Lol The 2nd chop has happened. I took a ton of fan leaves off. It's time for the plant to slow down heal and start working on the buds! Let's see how this goes over the next couple of days. I added a timelapse of me chopping her up. 7/28/23 - Day 46 - After adding more water last night, I was checking PH, and I did a quick check on the ppm from the nutes. If it went from 600ppm down to 130ppm in a couple of days. So we decided to give her another dose of nutes so she has something to eat. I'll update you after she wakes up for the day. I’m about to lose it. Big progress both from the broken stem and the plant as a whole. I think though the accident was very stressful and it turn it into a hermie. Once the lovely community makes sure I got a hermie I will cut the balls off(no cap). Day 36, one day after the hermie incident.I cut the sacs of and keeping a really close eye on it.Like checking every hour on different lighting again and again. Main cola looks like neither full bounced back, nor losing the battle from the harm I did to her in the middle of the fifth week,the tape is still on. I'm anxious if I face a light stress till the full recovery of the stem. I can't LST thats for sure and I have an HPS lamp. I'm aware that my yields will not be the same as the true potencial of the strain but I'm sure the taste and high will be diffrent for me due to the work I'm putting in and the "stress" I'm going through. Day 37: No sight of sacs. Looks thirsty every day and sometimes I water twice.The soil is dry one the first cm.

Harvest done after a week of flushing, the result is always satisfactory. One of my favorite strains, after the drying and curing process I'm **updating my feedback! ***Mar 22 Week 2 of flower, looking really good. I made sure to give the reservoir a little extra ppm this time around, because last week the plant ended the week hungry. I put a little extra Plant-Prod in this week, hopefully the extra 300 ppm will be enough this week! I went in and took off some leaves that were blocking the inner nodes, but I didn't take off any small bud sites on the inside *YET* ...I want to wait til stretch is done before taking anything major off, just in case it catches up by then. I will say that it is looking a lot more open now that I took a handful of leaves off. Most of them were overlapping other leaves, or just straight up too big. Others that didn't seem like much of a threat, just got tucked under other branches or leaves. I'm trying to be as hands-off with this grow as I can. Freakshow doesn't seem to like being played with too much. PPM is at 1850 and PH is at 6 Lots of pictures to start this week off, and also a small video to better detail how to plant is growing. I may have to switch CalMag brands by the end of the grow, unless the bottle will last me (I'm sharing my nutrients with my partner), but I don't think that would make too much of a difference, but it's worth noting. I also would like to note that I have not topped, LST'd, or any other training method to be precise, other than taking the top two leaves off as they get too big, I have not done anything else to make this girl get so wide. The canopy has been doing it' all on its own. The roots have been growing around and over the bubbles in the water, making them spread out almost like a cup (my partner has a theory that may be why the plant has been getting wide instead of tall... He believes the plant tends to take on the shape of the container it is it; aka the shape of the roots). I can now confirm that she is a female, as shown in the picture, you can see 2 long pistils coming out! ✊ I think I have the smallest amount of powdery mildew starting, because of the humidity being so high, BUT I have taken all other plants out of the tent, so this freak is all on her lonesome inside the tent now. I have seen an immediate improvement this morning, so I am not concerned over it. Beautiful start of the week, and can't wait to see how it goes the rest of the week! Should expect to see a lot of bushing and hopefully some trichome production by the end of it. Have a wonderful week everyone! 😻 ***Mar 24 Already drank 2 full cups of water (around 2L) and down from 1850ppm to 1600ppm ... oh boy!!! She's so hungry I wonder if I'll be able to keep up hahaha. She's looking really happy and healthy. Roots are still growing like mad. I wanted to trim them, but going to hold off a bit so I don't stress it out. ***Mar 26 ...The amount of water she is drinking is outrageous. I actually had to feed a little bit more nutrients (Plant-prod 15-30-15 about 0.3 tsp to bring the ppm from 1200 to next to 1500 to get through til monday/tuesday) and a sprinkle more of soluble seaweed. I did a little lollipopping tonight as well! Looking much more open and I took out a lot of the small bottom bud sites and leaves that weren't really getting any light. Everything is looking super good, and still no health issues. Doesn't seem to be missing any nutrients, but also doesn't seem to be bothered by having extra nutrients either.

Sin embargo, veo que esta planta me va a dar algo de problema en mi pequeño armario.

The flood table is just rocking, all plants are healthy as can be and the lights are hitting thousands of growth sites. Will be a good harvest if all stays the same for 6 weeks. Temps and humidity were a struggle this week, but back in check now. Girls are stretched out, finished their vertical growth at F22 and have now maxed out the Scroggernaut headrooom. Upped the feed to include a bit of bud booster to use through week 7 or so. Started at quarter strength and will slowly increase. The crystals are starting to POP!! Beautiful strain, grow it!

The plant is doing well overall this week! 💪 To handle a few fungus gnats that started showing up, I introduced nematodes into the soil and placed some yellow sticky traps, seems to be keeping things under control so far. She's growing quite tall now, definitely stretching up nicely, but not really filling out much in width. A true lemony skyscraper in the tent!😂💚

Start of week 7(May 3rd 2022). I’ve been using Lotus Grow every watering and so I decided to flush the pots with 7x their water holding capacity in the bathtub. I will be alternating between Lotus bloom/boost and a plant based “tea” from Dragonfly Earth Medicine called Fat Flowers. Lights were too close and caused marks on the leaves which look like deficiencies, I’ll keep a close eye until I can be sure. The petioles are purpling on the indoor plants as well(might be genetics though from the Strawberry Nuggets).

Well she has grown that's for sure. She needs to be transplanted to a bigger pot. Also defoliated... I will attempt this tomorrow. I need to acquire a bigger pot. Worse case scenario I use a 5 gallon bucket, and drill some holes. I'm switching to flower 12/12 this week. So she is going into a 15 gallon pot now and getting a good trim. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying postition all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 Looking beautiful today and looked like she could use her first haircut.. gave her a TOP off. Roots are laying in the water everything is looking right on track.. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. She had roots nicely in the water.. this grow is on!!! Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Humidity was a little low this morning, so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that, the temp looks great, the PH looks great, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started first hair cut given and both side nodes are growing. Everything is looking good and on track.. A lot better than week one of the last grow when I had them drowning week 1. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

Semaine 2 – Croissance Mother Gorilla On continue sur une bonne lancée avec cette deuxième semaine de croissance ! La plante est bien vigoureuse, elle a clairement pris du volume depuis la semaine dernière. J’estime qu’elle a quasiment doublé de taille, on est maintenant aux alentours de 15-16 cm. C’est un bon signe, elle se plaît dans son environnement et ça se voit aussi au niveau des racines : elles ont bien évolué en quelques jours, bien blanches et en pleine forme. Côté constantes, on reste sur 18h de lumière par jour. La température oscille entre 22-23°C en journée et descend à 18°C la nuit, donc l’amplitude reste raisonnable. Niveau pH, il a un peu bougé et est monté à 6, mais rien d’inquiétant. Je vais surveiller s’il continue de grimper, et si besoin, je le redescendrai à 5,8. Pour l’humidité, j’ai baissé légèrement à 70 %, et je prévois de continuer dans cette direction la semaine prochaine pour descendre entre 60 et 65 %. L’objectif est de garder un VPD entre 0,4 et 0,8 max, histoire de rester dans une bonne fourchette pour la croissance. Aucune modification sur la plante pour l’instant : je ne l’ai pas encore topée, je préfère lui laisser encore une semaine d’acclimatation avant de commencer le travail de structure. Même chose pour la solution nutritive, je suis toujours sur la même que la semaine dernière. Pour l’instant, pas de signe de carence ou de besoin particulier, donc je continue comme ça. En résumé, tout roule ! La plante est en bonne santé, ses feuilles sont bien larges, et son système racinaire est top. On va continuer sur cette lancée et voir comment elle évolue la semaine prochaine ! 🇺🇸Week 2🇺🇸 – Mother Gorilla Growth We’re still on track with this second week of growth! The plant is looking strong and has clearly bulked up since last week. I’d say it has almost doubled in size, now standing around 15-16 cm. That’s a great sign—it’s thriving in its environment, and you can see it in the roots too. They’ve developed really well over the past few days, nice and white, just the way we want them. As for the conditions, we’re sticking to 18 hours of light per day. Temperature stays between 22-23°C during the day and drops to 18°C at night, which is a good range. The pH has fluctuated a bit, sitting at 6 now, but nothing concerning. I’ll keep an eye on it—if it keeps rising, I’ll adjust it back down to 5.8. Humidity has been slightly lowered to 70%, and I plan to keep decreasing it next week to around 60-65%. My goal is to maintain a VPD between 0.4 and 0.8 max to keep things ideal for growth. No plant training yet—I haven’t topped it, as I want to give it another week to settle in before I start shaping it. Same goes for the nutrient solution—I’m still using the same mix from last week. The plant isn’t showing any deficiencies or issues, so I’m keeping things steady. Overall, everything’s looking great! The plant is healthy, leaves are nice and wide, and the roots are thriving.
