1/11/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 1- I have a root almost in the water.. Yay!! Top feeding is almost done. she is looking a little sad as I work the transition Top feeding but once the roots are fully in the water she will start to take off. Ensured my PPFD is set between 250-300 it is set to: 258 1/12/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 2- I have a root in the water.... NO TOP FEED TODAY SIR!!! now that a root is touching the water and she looks stable, I am not going to topfeed, I will see how she looks tomorrow and as long as everything looks good I am going to go ahead and do a change and week 1 fill on Nutes.. I know it is a couple of days in but the same Nutes go through Week 2 and get changed at Week 3 So I should be good to go.. I will just ensure I fill to root touching the water when I change tomorrow. 1/13/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 3- Water Change Day!! I added 36 Gallons of Water to the system: Silica= .5mil/gal= 18mil CalMag= .75mil/gal = 27mil FloraMicro=3.0mil/gal = 108mil FloraGro=2.0mil/gal = 72mil FloraBloom= 2.0mil/gal = 72mil PH DOWN= 30mil Very important thing with this system is to now wait the 24 hours for the system to adjust.. Do not make any further adjustments to your PH up or Down for 24 hours to allow time for the system to balance. 1/14/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 4- Today I just adjusted the PH to ensure that it was right at 6.0 1/15/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 5- Today I Cleaned up the lower damaged leaves from the transition from top feeding to roots in the water. She looks good today. 1/16/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 6- Today I just took a picture of the beautiful lady for Log. Other than that just normal day to day operations, check the pH, check the Humidifiers and fill as necessary, check level of water in the Res. Lots of growth this week and working to solve the humidity issues - Jack had a trim! I think it's probably because of the size of my pots but these girls just won't stop growing! I bit the bullet and did some light defoliation on Jack this week - it didn't seem to phase her at all so I'm a bit more confident about going further. I decided to giver her a bit of a trim, mostly the lower fan leaves. It was because she was so dense and tucking the leaves wasn't really working out, she bounced back fine so now I'm thinking of giving her a bigger trim - not sure I've got the guts though! I've kept feeding her a little bloom every couple of days, not sure if it's helping with her size and density but I don't really want to stop. Flowers are developing but not as quickly as those on the Chocolate Orange, Jack doesn't smell quite as much as her any more either. To fix the humidity issues I diverted the extraction duct to another room which seems to have made a big difference, RH is now consistently under 57% and usually around 55% - still not ideal but I don't think I'll get it much lower. I've moved the fan so that there's plenty of air moving over the canopy - hopefully enough to keep away the mould as the grow progresses.

2020-07-05 New week. Reduced nutrients because of the slight burn on plant 2... and plant 1 drinks so quickly that it rapidly raises PPM so I have to actually find the right sweet spot. It's drinking about a gallon a day? Plant 2 is still a week behind and slightly stunted but the flowers are coming out. They are more compact than Plant 01. This is supposed to be the same species but I'm getting 2 very different phenotypes on the exact same nutrients.. not very strong genetics? Not sure. 2020-07-05 2020-07-05 2020-07-08 Forgot to take pics this week! Here you go! Plant 01 has grown so insanely strongly and is producing so many nice looking bud sites, i am blown away!! I have had to 'supercrop' the top by bending the stem very carefully and adding a wire knuckle so that it wouldn't immediately just stand back up overnight. I tried this with 2 experimental colas and they perked back up and stayed laying down. They will slightly obstruct the lower flowers but the tops all looked so promising, I couldn't bring myself to cut them. I will seriously have to cut down on veg time next grow! I can easily stop at week 5 in the future with these seeds and grow up nice buds. 2020-07-11 Updated with yesterday's photos. Changed nutrients today, stuck with 1600 EC for plant 01 and went back down to 1400 for plant 02.

Day 22: Started on LST today. For the first time ever I removed 1or 2 of the big fan leaves before bending the plant over. These leaves would have become trapped under the plant so i would be removing them later anyway so I thought it would be easier to do so beforehand. I also removed the first pair of nodes after the cotyledon. To reduce the risk slowing down or stunting growth I done this bit of defoliation under a very dim light, half way through the 6 hour lights out night schedule when all the plants hormones would have been returned to the roots.. Day23: Continued with more LST pinning down branches. Day 24: Small bit more LST toady and also moved plant from the veg space with CFL’s to the main grow space in under the LED lights. There’s a good few pistils starting to show. Day 25: Watered with light dose of nutrients (1m G). Took around 3 litres. Day 27: Removed the biggest low down fan leaf. Day 28: Removed one more big fan leaf but in the process accidentally removed a branch also. Mr.Nelson was pretty pissed. But you know what they say “What doesn’t kill us only makes us stronger”. Han suggested I don’t use that phrase with Mr.Nelson.

So week 10!we have a 9 day heat wave on our hands so things are getting tricky i guess.lets see what happens! Its hot over here with temps of 34 degrees Celsius!After a nearly sunless month we have a heatwave that will last for 6 more days.Checking for water 2 times a Day. Cheers!

if i grew this again i'd make a mother plant, take clones and veg for short time and flip sooner then I did this round. Although people say lec 315 can be 18 inches from canopy (exactly where the platinum yeti was when finished stretching) the trichomes were just milkying up at day 66 of flower prob can run this one a little longer then i did to increase yield a bit more to allow buds to fatten out more and go more to amber trichomes. She has her own room now! Inside this VIVOSUN 5x5 the canopy is being supplied with 35,000 - 55,000 lux (650 - 950 ppfd) by the spiderfarmer SE7000. I also installed a UV-B fluorescent light on a timer to run for 30 minutes before the se7000 turns on. I did some light defoliating and retied some outer branches to open up the canopy. Feeding following the general hydroponics 10 part table for late blooming/ripening - subbed liquid koolbloom for dry koolbloom at an introductory rate of 1/4 tsp/gal. Also added GH Ripen @ 4ml/gal.
