Switched to GH flora 3 part. Playing around with flood times. The are taking up water at an exponential rate. Could my ph be alot higher than I think? 4 gal res I added a couple ml of phosphoric acid at the start and about 1ml a day since(I didnt prep my cube as well as I should of) seems like alot to me. The system would rise from 5.3 to 6.3 throughout the day. A flood cycle doesnt seem to affect the ph, more over time. I am constantly stirring the mix and no my meter is not yet calibrated. I have ordered what I need but I'm considering calibrating with the chemicals I have and doing a res change. Good news is, they do seem a little more lifelike after implementing all your suggestions. Okay drained and rinsed my res, ro water into the tank was holding 6.97ph, good enough for the girls I go out with🤷‍♂️ gonna mix up a batch, do a top feed to waste, and see what happens. It has been nearly 24h since my last flood. Also, struggling with lows of 30% humidity sometimes. Dont know if that plays a role here. Okay something was off.. I did a top feed to waste with fresh 5.3 nutes and the runoff came out at 7.5.. so I did it again...and again...maybe a half doesnt times to each block with no change. I started to reuse the runoff as I wrote off the batch at this point. I then switched to a pump and did recirc feed to each block aprox 20 litres at a time, stopping to rebalance. Literally 100s of litres later I am stable at 5.5....going to drain rinse and refill. The interesting part is that what ever was saturated in those blocks is non conductive, the ec didnt change the entire time🤷‍♂️ Spent the next couple days recovering. Looking better now. Sardine catcher installed.

Because of the extrem Defolitation/Schwazzing, which was more or less necessary regarding Humidtiy levels of of over 95% around evening night and morning. Even though I also did it for trying out how the Plants react. They mainly stopped growing Bud for 3-4 Days and the leaves of the Bud Sides got a bit Bigger. Also I had problems with NutBurn and Heat Burn, Nutburn because of my not constantly watered Pots which, I guess, ended up beeing a really salty and nutrient soaked(from the soil) substrate because they are reused Filters for Water out of clay. As well in midday it gets really hot and we are more than 3500ft over the sea level. And why I grow in Clay Filters ? Just to try, in my opinion already not recommendable even though it keeps the Soil a bit cooler..

The Jack Herer is dense and frosty colas, covered in trichomes with a nice mix of cloudy heads. Compared to the Northern Lights, it clearly had more weight and resin, making the harvest very satisfying. For the last days, I only gave CalMag and plain water adjusted to pH 6.3

A sad week, I found bud rot and had to take my plants out and do a big check and remove all dense underdeveloped growth. It will be a pretty big hit on the yield I guess but the most important thing is learning and that I did. The bud rot could spread due to my RH being 65/70 at nights and it used to be +80 before, + bad airflow. I got new fans in the tent and my dehumidifier was ordered already but its not in yet. On the other side, the plants are looking pretty damn good, they smell amazing and 3 of the 4 plants is getting a very dense nug structure.

Currently in the 9th day of Flower and the buds are starting to form nicely. I am spotting a small zinc deficiency on the leaves, the colour inside the leaf is light greenish. The PH was a bit too high and last week also might overdid it with the nutes. Solution for now is down the PH day by day till I reach 5.8 and then let it rise up again slowly. Lets see how the new leaves will form and the bud thickens. Smell is really great, strong pungent and exotic.
